One of the rules of the validity of the Prophet's traditions is to avoid shāẓ. The definition of shāẓ according to al-Shafi'ī (150-204 H) is a single narrator whose history of hadith contradicts with many other narrators. The majority of hadith scholars such as Ibn al-Ṣalāh (577-643 H), chose the definition over the others. This article focuses on searching the bibliographic source for the definition of shāẓ al-Shāfi’ī with an intertext approach. The object is the works of al-Shafi'ī in the field of hadith and a variety of hadith science literature which includes the definition of shāẓ. This study shows that hadith experts generally agree with the definition of shāẓ al-Shafi'ī because it is easier to apply than other definitions. However, they did not clearly mention the title of al-Shafi'i's essay which he referred to, causing misunderstanding as if the source of the definition of shāẓ was Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ, not al-Shafi'ī. One of these misconceptions stems from the unclear reference of Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ himself. This study shows that the bibliographic results of al-Shafi'i's works and transmission lines of definitions are found that the definition of al-Shafi is not found in al-Risalah, but is sourced from al-Manafib al-Shafi al-Baihaqī

This article discusses the understanding of the hadith on the prohibition of receiving wages in teaching the Al-Quran. The form of appreciation given to teachers from students, both in the form of gifts and rewards in teaching Al-Qur'an, has become a dispute of opinion among the scholars. This study is very important to discuss to find out the similarities and differences in opinion of the scholars of fiqh schools regarding the hadith of the prohibition. The writing of this article uses a literature-based comparative study methodology equipped with hadiths that serve as a reference as a basis for opinion among scholars of fiqh schools. This article concludes that classical scholars from the Hanafi school and scholars from the Hambali school forbid accepting wages for teaching the Koran, while scholars from the Maliki school of thought, scholars from the Shafi'i school of thought, and contemporary scholars from the Hanafi and Madzhab schools Hambali allows receiving rewards for teaching the Qur'an according to certain circumstances.

In the early days of Islam, the seeds of the followers of Ingkar Sunnah had appeared, namely Shi'ah and Khawarij, followed by Muktazilah. Their blasphemy in denying the Sunnah is the lust and fanaticism of their group. Ingkar Sunnah thought was not in demand for several centuries, then appeared again in the early 14th century Hijriyah. The development of the modern Ingkar Sunnah is more progressive than its predecessor. Among the driving factors is the orientalist study of the Sunnah which has influenced the views of Muslim scholars on the Sunnah. In addition, the colonialism (isti'mârî) which occurred in several countries with large Muslim majority such as India, increased the sincerity of the Orientalists to attack the Sunnah to its roots. Their efforts were successful, with the emergence of Ingkar Sunnah groups in various regions, including: Madrasah al-'Ashrâniyyah in India, Madrasah al-Qur'âniyyin in India, and Madrasah al-'Aqlâniyyah in Egypt. This study uses a qualitative method, data collection using literature study, while the approach is historical-thematic. This study found that the modern Ingkar Sunnah group was more organized than the earlier generations. Their evidence comes from the influence of Western thought and the logic they build; so that the groups will accept the hadith if it is rational.

Amanah is God's gift to the sky but the sky is not able to carry it, only humans who dared to accept the mandate it. Amanah, Hugo is a noble trait that has been attached to the Apostles themselves. The opposite of the treasonous, because treasonous is one of the signs of hypocrisy and Islam strictly forbid it. Amanah in reality is not so simple, because by their mandate means no loading or demand for the concerned to realize. Various methods were used to reveal the meaning and intent of the terms of the trust both in the hadith. From there will appear a comprehensive understanding of the mandate. This article seeks to unravel the mandate and matters related to the mandate covers and Nature of Amanah, Criteria Amanah Amanah based on the Hadith. Not only as an perspectife religion but also the effort to achieve skill academic development.

As Muslims, we should know what jokes are to stay in the corridor of goodness and not deviate from the path of evil. This research aims to discuss a problem that is rife in social media today, namely pranks. The research methodology used is a qualitative type through library research. The result and discussion of this research are the prank phenomenon mushroomed in society is one of several things that was prohibited by the Prophet Muhammad. But aside from that, some pranks or jokes are allowed. That is, they don't go overboard. So, among the limitations are that it does not contain lies, does not exaggerate, still includes things of goodness, and does not criticize.

Tidak ada argument untuk menolak kualitas sanad hadis dikatakan shahih, sepanjang seluruh periwayat yang terdapat yang terdapat dalam sanadnya berkualitas tsiqah dan mutassil, yakni sanadnya bersambung. Faktanya ada sanad hadis yang tampak berkualitas shahih akan tetapi setelah dilakukan penenlitian ulang dan seksama melalui komparasi semua matan yang semakna, ditemukan adanya kejanggalan. Dalam wacana ilmu hadis kejanggalan dinamai syaz atau syudzudz. Cabang ilmu ini menegaskan bahwa kegiatan penelitian sanad masih belum dinyatakan selesai bila penelitian tengtang kemungkinan adanya syaz belum dilaksanakan dengan cermat. Penelitian ini akan membahas wacana syaz dan permasalahannya dalam wacana ilmu hadis.

The practice of Sufism in today's society and what the prophet Muhammad did is often conceptual and practical differences. Sufism, which is the sum-sum of Islam, is often the target of attacks on the wrong practices of Sufism that occur today or for ignorance of good and true Sufism. This article tries to describe the life of Sufism, practice, and the spiritual condition of the Prophet Muhammad. In the scientific field and religious side, this will be traced in terms of Sufism practices carried out by the prophet Muhammad found in the hadiths and books. This journal was analyzed using qualitative methods of literature study. Related primary and secondary sources will be categorized which will be presented in the form of research results. Various sources that the author can reveal that the life of the prophet Muhammad was filled with Sufistic instruments, and a lifestyle like this is an ideal lifestyle. It can be concluded that this pattern of life is at the same time a treasure and 'ibrah for the Sufi life, so it can be said that the Messenger of Allah has laid the spiritual foundations for his followers throughout the ages.

This study was aimed at analyzing the concept of social Sufism of Amin Syukur. This study used a qualitative approach by placing the researcher as the key instrument, and was combined with a biographical study of thoughts. Literature study was chosen as a data collection technique by exploring various relevant sources. The finding revealed that in the concept of social Sufism ofAmin Syukur, becoming a Sufi did not have to be part of a particular tarekat school. In addition, the paradigm promoted in social Sufism was that Sufism was not a passive and individualist teaching. This paradigm was motivated by Amin Syukur's thought that humans were social beings having roles and functions in social life. At this level a Sufi was placed as an agent of change and social control. Therefore, in Amin Syukur's view, Sufism was not only related to ritualit, which gave birth to individual piety, but also had implications for participation in social, cultural, and political life, which gave birth to social piety. Thus, it was concluded that social Sufism was a moderate concept emphasizing the balance between individual and social pious. The concept of social Sufism allowed humans to become Sufis without having to join a particular tarekat group first.Keywords: Social Sufism; Amin Syukur; Individual Pious; Social Pious

The Coronavirus pandemic or known as the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the events that emerged at the end of 2019. This virus is caused by a new type of Coronavirus named SARS CoV-2. Sars-Cov2 which is the cause of COVID-19 is a virus that can enter and attack the human respiratory system. The disease caused by this (SARS CoV-2) is spreading and spreading rapidly. Referring to the hadith of the Prophet SAW, it is explained that the Prophet also provided signs to overcome the dangers of disease so that it is not quickly transmitted. This is important to follow up as well as as a preventive measure for the spread of COVID-19. This research examines the authenticity and origin of the hadiths regarding the Prophet’s advice in preventing this outbreak using the TMT3 takhrij method, a new method of hadith-sanad-matan criticism, which is supported by digital searches for word indexes in the Jaami ‘al-Kutub al-Tis’ah application, for search for various hadiths using keywords in the application. Also reviewing what is COVID-19 and how the Prophet prevented the spread of disease outbreaks that had occurred in ancient times through qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through library research. Where the results of this study, namely that the quality of the hadith regarding the Prophet’s recommendation as a form of prevention of the spread of the plague is authentic, of course, seen from the narrator’s tsiqqah quality So that this hadith becomes one of the references to the authentic hadith that must be practiced in the face of the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Benefit as the core of maqâshid al-syariah has an important role in the development of Islamic law. Because Islamic law was revealed with the aim of presenting the benefit of humans, both in this world and in the hereafter. One of the benefits that are protected is the protection of lineage. Nasab is human nature, because humans have the instinct to regenerate. On the other hand, humans have the nature of obedience to God. So that the two natures accumulate in lineage protection. Lineage protection is concerned with quantity on the one hand, and quality on the other. The exact point proportions of the two are seen from the bounded realm of reality. Lineage protection is not only about regeneration, but also includes all intermediaries (wasilah) that support it, both in terms of quantity and quality. The purpose of this study is to find out what things can damage the lineage, such as adultery, incest marriage, prostitution and so on.
