Abstract

Performance is the key to measure the quality of service. On the other side an increase in the quality of service is one of the keys to winning the competition.The purpose of this study is measuring the service quality of services at the college using SERVQUAL. SERVQUAL method itself is a method to measure services through five dimensions namely Tangibels, Empathy, Reliability, Responsiveness and Assurance.The results of using SERVQUAL method from 25 variables obtained dimensions that has the biggest gap is Tangibels, Empathy, and Responsiveness. Keywords: Performance, SERVQUAL, Quality Gap

Abstract

The development of the business world in Indonesia, today has shown an encouraging direction. It can be seen from the proliferation of various forms of business entities engaged in the field of goods and services both small and large scale. One of them is wedding organizer service. Wedding organizer provider company must be able to provide maximum service to increase consumer satisfication.This research is related to the application of the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method in determining the factors that influence the low level of customer satisfaction in wedding organizer service providers.The purpose of this study is to determine the important factors that cause the low levels of customer satisfaction and provide suggestions for improving the performance of service providers in wedding organizers. This analysis uses SERVQUAL variables which contain service quality dimensions such as tangibles, reliability, empathy, responsiveness, and assurance.The results of research conducted using these 14 variables, show that there are three factors that cause low levels of customer satisfaction, they are not acting fast when consumers need (complaints given by consumers are not immediately responded to), not able to provide information according to customer needs (no service list), not having the availability of interesting event photobooths ( no availability of photographer at photobooth place, and five improvement proposals for wedding organizer service providers, such as procurement of communication equipment, assigning tasks based on mastered fields, scheduling more carefully, more thoroughly in providing information, paying more attention to concept and theme of the event according to the consumer wishes.Keywords: Wedding Organizer, SERVQUAL, Consumer Satisfaction, Fault Tree.

Abstract

PT. Pelindo Sorong is a company in West Papua that offers loading and unloading services using containers. Although the company has implemented  a queue distribution pattern in handling containers, it needs process improvement.One method to overcome is problem is to use Promodel 2016 software and SPSS version 22 as a tool to determine the optimal timing of the ideal loading and unloading process. The container handling equipment observed in this study were a crane, tractor trailer and reach stacker. The field survey in February 2020 was conducted to measure the handling time of dry containers.The simulation results show that the optimal average loading process is 2.32 minutes and the loading process time is 3.08 minutes. And the highest level of utility for the loading process is 25.24% and for the loading process is 53.30%. From the analysis using promodel 2016 software, it is known that the highest utility value of the two processes is below 100% so that there is no bottleneck. If the utility value of both processes reaches 100%, there will be a rush in the queue system. The solution is the there must be additional tools in the process with a high level of utility.Keywords: Containers, Loading and unloading equipment, Promodel 2016, Optimal    average time

Abstract

The production process is one of the important activities of the company that needs to be considered considering its key role in the operation or absence of a business. Related to this importance, this study aims to determine the various types of inhibiting factors in the Abaka Fiber (Musa textilis Nee)   production process and create a ranking model by applying the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method. The results of the application of the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method in the Abaka Fiber Production case study showed nine types of inhibiting factors. Meanwhile, in terms of ranking of inhibiting factors, the priority of inhibiting factors ranked first is occupied by inhibiting factors. The craftsmen do not know the technology to develop the Abaka fiber processing process with a preference score of 0.47. Keywords: Inhibitory Factors, Preference Selection Index (PSI) Method, Abaka Fiber

Abstract

Dual response approach is using for get the maximal result of prediction on Neural Network, in order to prediction motorcycle sale in the next period. The purpose of the research is (1) to make model of motorcycle prediction using neural network, and (2) make prediction and analyze the result of motorcycle prediction. First step to do in this research is searching the mean and standard deviation from the historycal data which obtained. And then data is normalized to the sigmoid biner form, with range from 0,1 to 0,9. After that train the data to recognize the pattern through the training process and testing process. And the next step for simulation process to get the prediction result. Result from the research which using the train function “trainlm” with network architecture 12-8-3-2 from january 2021 until december 2021 is; 302, 284, 326, 253, 277, 277, 240, 296, 284, 275, 265, and 310. The prediction result is showing that highest sales is on march 2021 with 326 motorcycle unit, and the lowest sales is on july 2021 with only 240 motorcycle unit. The prediction showing us sales drop because of the covid-19 pandemic. Keywords : Prediction, dual response, neural network

Abstract

Equiport Inti Indonesia is company moves in container transfer process the level of productivity is unknown. OMAX is a partial productivity measurement system that was devoloped to monitor productivity in each part of the company with productivity criteria that are accordance with the existence of the (objective) parts. Productivity is one of the important factors to support the sustainability of a company by analyze and evaluate the output that produce based on its effort as long as certainty period. In order to know productivity level of production part now, a productivity measurement is needed, because this measurement production result can be used as consideration to apply the effort that can be done to increase the productivity of company. Productivity measurement was done by using objective matrix (OMAX) method. Criteria that used in this research was productivity of raw material, effective work hour and effectiveness of production. The highest productivity value was in August with a total value of 101,6 % while the lowest value was in Mei with a value of 7,33 %. Cause and effect diagram was used to know the causesof the productivity decline of the transfer container part. The factors that caused the decline of the productivity was the failure of tippler machine, inappropriate raw material, and unprofessional operator. Keywords : Objective Matrix (OMAX), Productivity ABSTRAK Equiport Inti Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang transfer container yang sejauh ini belum mengetahui tingkat produktivitasnya. OMAX adalah suatu sistem pengukuran produktivitas parsial yang dikembangkan untuk memantau produktivitas di tiap bagian perusahaan dengan kriteria produktivitas yang sesuai dengan keberadaan bagian tersebut (objektif). Produktivitas merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk penunjang kelangsungan hidup suatu perusahaan dengan cara menganalisa dan mengevaluasi keluaran yang didapat berdasarkan atas tingkat unjuk kerjanya selama periode tertentu. Untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas bagian produksi saat ini maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran produktivitas, karena hasil pengukuran produktivitas ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pertimbangan untuk menerapkan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan. Pengukuran produktivitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode objective matrix (OMAX). Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah produktivitas bahan baku, produktivitas jam kerja efektif dan efektifitas produksi. Nilai produktivitas tertinggi terdapat pada bulan Agustus dengan jumlah nilai 101,6 % sedangkan nilai terendah terdapat pada bulan Mei dengan nilai 7,33%%. Diagram sebab akibat digunakan untuk mengetahui penyebab turunnya produktivitas bagian transfer container. Faktor yang menyebabkan produktivitas menurun adalah kerusakan mesin tippler, bahan bakuyang tidak sesuai, dan operator yang kurang ahli. Kata Kunci : Objective Matrix (OMAX), Produktivitas

Abstract

The development of companies in the port sector is increasing along with the demands of consumers who want to get fast and best service, All of that can be achieved if all components in the company both humans, machines, and production systems can work optimally, PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia is a company engaged in the port sector, one of its services is to provide container loading and unloading services, Data from January to December 2022 for the RTG unit at PT PELINDO IV BITUNG shows that the effectiveness value is very maxima. The effectiveness measurement of the RTG unit at PT PELINDO IV BITUNG uses the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method which is then analyzed six big losses to determine the amount of efficiency lost and the factors that affect it, Furthermore, the largest loss factor will be analyzed using a cause-and-effect diagram to find out the smallest cause of the problem, Keywords : Performance, Maintenance, TPM, OEE, six big losses, RTG ABSTRAK Perkembangan perusahaan di bidang ke pelabuhan semakin meningkat seiring dengan tuntutan konsumen yang ingin mendapatkan pelayanan yang cepat dan terbaik. Semua itu dapat tercapai apabila seluruh komponen dalam perusahaan baik manusia, mesin, dan sistem produksi dapat bekerja secara maksimal. PT. Pelindo IV Bitung adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang kepelabuhan, salah satu layanannya adalah menyediakan jasa bongkar muat peti kemas. Data bulan Januari sampai dengan Desember 2022 untuk unit RTG di PT Pelindo IV Bitung menunjukkan nilai efektivitas sangat maksimal. Pengukuran efektivitas pada unit RTG di PT Pelindo IV Bitung ini menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang selanjutnya dilakukan analisa six big losses untuk mengetahui besarnya efisiensi yang hilang serta faktor-fator yang mempengaruhinya. Abstract

The twist lock component in the container crane unit is a component that plays an important role in the loading and unloading process for which maintenance is needed, so the purpose of this study is to determine the system and type of treatment applied to the twist lock component at PT. Pelindo IV Bitung by using descriptive qualitative research methods to obtain data information obtained using primary and secondary data. The results of the research data processing obtained the relationship between the maintenance of twist lock components with the loading and unloading process which is very important to be carried out for the smooth loading and unloading process and the cessation of loading and unloading process activities due to damage to the twist lock components. So that the maintenance system applied to the twist lock component of the container crane unit is; Routine inspection, lubrication, cleaning, replacement, function testing, maintenance records and having two types of maintenance applied to twist lock components namely breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance. Keywords: Maintenance System, Twist Lock, Container Crane ABSTRAK Komponen twist lock pada unit container crane merupakan komponen yang berperan penting dalam proses bongkar muat untuk itu di perlukan perawatan, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sistem dan jenis perawatan yang diterapkan pada komponen twist lock di PT. Pelindo IV Bitung dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk memperoleh infomasi data diperoleh dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil pengolahan data penelitan diperoleh hubungan perawatan komponen twist lock dengan proses bongkar muat yang sangat penting dilakukan untuk kelancaran proses bongkar muat dan terhentinya kegiatan proses bongkar muat akibat kerusakan-kerusakan pada komponen twist lock. Sehingga sistem perawatan yang diterapkan pada komponen twist lock unit container crane yaitu; inspeksi rutin, pelumasan, pembersihan, penggantian, pengujian fungsi, catatan perawatan dan memiliki dua jenis perawatan yang diterapkan pada komponen twist lock yaitu breakdown maintenance dan preventive maintenance. Abstract

Decision making is very important because good decision making can increase the productivity of a company. One example of decision making in a business process is decision making for supplier selection, because by choosing the right supplier you can anticipate supply failures for the product. Related to this, this research uses the FMEA method to select the best supplier. The case study was carried out by applying the FMEA method to 3 shell charcoal suppliers in North Sulawesi, namely supplier A, supplier B and supplier C. There are 6 criteria used in calculating the method, namely product quality, price, delivery, availability of shell charcoal, packaging, service. Data collection in this research was by using interviews and questionnaires aimed at suppliers. FMEA calculations in this research found that supplier A had an RPN score of 29, supplier B 32, supplier C 25. The research results showed that the best supplier was supplier C with an RPN score of 25. Key words: FMEA method, risk, Shell Charcoal. ABSTRAK Pengambilan keputusan merupakan hal sangat penting karena dengan adanya pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dapat meningkatkan produktivitas suatu perusahaan. Salah satu contoh pengambilan keputusan didalam suatu proses bisnis adalah pengambilan keputusan untuk pemilihan pemasok. Dengan memilih pemasok yang tepat dapat mengantisipasi kegagalan pasokan dari produk tersebut. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode FMEA untuk memilih pemasok terbaik. Studi kasus dilakukan dengan penerapkan metode FMEA terhadap 3 pemasok arang tempurung di Sulawesi utara yaitu pemasok A, pemasok B dan pemasok C. Terdapat 6 kriteria yang digunakan dalam perhitungan metode yaitu kualitas produk, harga, waktu pengiriman, ketersediaan arang tempurung, teknik pengemasan, pelayanan. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner yang ditujukan kepada 3 pemasok tersebut diatas. Pada Perhitungan FMEA dalam penelitian ini di dapati bahwa pemasok A memiliki nilai RPN 29, pemasok B 32, pemasok C 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemasok terbaik dengan mempertimbangkan keseluruhan kriteria adalah pemasok C dengan skor RPN sebesar 25. Kata kunci : Metode FMEA, risiko, arang tempurung.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to measure student satisfaction with the information provided by the Unsrat Inspire portal service using fuzzy servqual and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods by conducting surveys through questionnaires. The stages of this research are starting from studying existing literature to become the basis for taking questionnaires, processing data to drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it was found that all statement attributes gave negative values, although not too large, which meant that students were still not satisfied with the inspire portal service. It can be seen from the table that the top five that get the biggest negative value are the security of student data on the Unsrat Inspire Portal (-0.57), the accuracy of announcement information on the Unsrat Inspire Portal (-0.57), making it easier for students to find exam schedules (-0.48), the accuracy of lecturer information provided to students through the Unsrat Inspire Portal (-0.46), and the features on the Unsrat Inspire Portal are complete (-0.45) while from the Importance & Performance Analysis diagram there are 2 service attributes that are in quadrant I which means that these attributes must improve their services.
