Abstract

Cisadane River is the largest river whose overflow often causes flooding in several locations in South Tangerang City. One of them is located in Pesona Serpong Housing, Setu District, South Tangerang City. The Cisadane Environmental Echo Community (GEMALA) is a community that cares about the sustainability of the Cisadane River. This community service aims to improve understanding of river maintenance and socialize the IoT-based Early Warning System (EWS) tool to the GEMALA community as an early flood detection tool. The method used is to use an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 which will measure the water level of the river and will send a signal via the Telegram messaging application. At the end of this activity, an IoT-based Early Warning System (EWS) tool was produced that could be utilized by the GEMALA community as an early flood detection tool.

Abstract

Traffic lights for pedestrians are necessary to provide security and comfort for pedestrians and vehicle drivers in order to avoid accidents and traffic jams. During the design of the circuit, component selection analysis was performed for assembling the controller. The analysis showed that the industrial timer has the ease of setting intervals and ease of maintenance controller in the case of damage. The testing on the design showed that, aftercrossing demand button was pressed, the traffic lights worked well in one cycle to allow pedestrians and further provides the opportunity for passing vehicles until the crossing demand button was pressed again by a pedestrian.Lampu lalu lintas untuk penyeberang jalan, merupakan hal yang dibutuhkan untuk memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi pejalan kaki maupun pengemudi kendaraan untuk menghindari terjadinya kecelakaan dan kemacetan lalu lintas. Dalam perancangan rangkaian dilakukan analisis pemilihan komponen untuk merakit kontroler. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa Timer industri memiliki kemudahan dalam melakukan pengaturanselang waktu dan kemudahan dalam perawatan kontroler jika terjadi kerusakan. Pengujian atas perancangan menunjukkan, setelah penekanan tombol permintaan menyeberang, lampulalu lintas bekerja baik sesuai satu siklus untuk memberi kesempatan penyeberang jalan, dan selanjutnya memberi kesempatan untuk kendaraan melintas sampai tombol permintaanmenyeberang ditekan oleh penyeberang selanjutnya.

Abstract

The human face can be used for face recognition in order to increase the level of security of a safe deposit box because every person has his/her facial characteristics that have similarities with one another. One of the tasks for face recognition is to compare the face in real-time to the ones in the dataset so that the owner can be verified. This final project aims to implement face recognition based using Raspberry Pi to increase the level of security of the safe deposit box system design. This study uses the Raspberry Pi 3B+ because it has sufficient processing capabilities and has a few pre-built modules that make researching this less difficult. Raspberry Pi uses Linux as the operating system, which has access to a large number of libraries and applications compatible with it [1]. Of the many methods used for face detection, in this final project the Viola-Jones method is being used. From the result of this research, the success rate that was obtained is 60%. This number was obtained after 40 trials, the system was able to detect as much as 24 times [2]. The final results shows that the light intensity greatly affects the performance of the system. The light intensity of 8 Lux has an accuracy rate of 30%, while the 40 Lux has an accuracy rate of 90%.Wajah manusia dapat digunakan dalam pengenalan wajah untuk meningkatkan keamanan brankas karena setiap manusia memiliki fitur-fitur wajah yang berbeda-beda. Salah satu tugas dari pengenalan wajah adalah membandingkan wajah pada citra foto dengan wajah yang telah disimpan di dataset, agar identitas pemilik wajah dapat diketahui. Makalah ini mengimplementasikan pengenalan wajah berbasis Raspberry Pi pada sistem brankas untuk meningkatkan keamanan brankas. Penelitian ini menggunakan Raspberry Pi dikarenakan memiliki kemampuan pemrosesan yang cukup dan memiliki modul yang mempermudah implementasi. Raspberry Pi menggunakan Linux sebagai sistem operasi, yang memiliki akses ke sejumlah besar perpustakaan dan aplikasi yang kompatibel. Dari sekian banyak metode yang telah diaplikasikan untuk deteksi wajah, metode yang dipakai untuk penelitian ini  adalah metode Viola Jones. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh nilai keberhasilan sebesar 60%. Nilai ini diperoleh setelah melakukan percobaan sebanyak 40 kali, dengan keberhasilan deteksi oleh sistem sebanyak 24 kali. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa intensitas cahaya sangat mempengaruhi peforma dari sistem. Ketika intensitas cahaya bernilai 8 Lux didapatkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 30 %, sedangkan ketika intensitas cahaya bernilai 40 Lux maka didapatkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 90%.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) Pemanfaatan Ampas Tahu Diversifikasi Camilan Sehat Bernilai Jual Tinggi di Bojong Sempu, Bogor memiliki sasaran ibu-ibu dasawisma untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Terdapat 6 kelompok sentra usaha tahu yang masing-masing beranggotakan lima pekerja di daerah ini. Di dalam proses produksi selalu dihasilkan limbah ampas tahu yang banyak namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, terbuang dan menjadi sampah berbau busuk dan mencemari lingkungan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah masyarakat belum mengolah ampas tahu menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai tambah. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak diketahuinya proses produksi pengolahan ampas tahu serta belum dipahaminya proses produksi berstandar baku higienis. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan meliputiPelatihan dan Praktek Pengolahan camilan sehat berbahan dasar ampas tahu. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan tentang ampas tahu dan pemanfaatannya, maka dilakukan tes sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil yang dicapai adalah tercapainya peningkatan kompetensi produksi diverisfikasi produk yang baru dari ampas tahu; terciptanya 8 aneka camilan berbahan baku ampas yang hiegenis dan sehat; dan terciptanya 8 foto aneka camilan produk camilan dan 3 versi desain kemasan yang menarik. Kegiatan PKM ini merupakan bentuk dukungan terhadap fokus pemerintah menggalakkan green economy, yaitu pemanfaatan limbah menjadi produk bernilai. Kegiatan ini juga mendukung tujuan nomor 1, 8 dan 17 dari 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yaitu menghapus kemiskinan, pekerjaan layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi, serta kemitraan untuk mencapai tujuan.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the economic and social sectors in the world, including Indonesia. The first impact is the weakening of household consumption or the weakening of people's purchasing power. The second impact is that the COVID-19 pandemic has created uncertainty about when it will end. These two impacts cause the community's investment ability to also weaken and have implications for the cessation of a business which results in the dismissal of several employees or layoffs so that alternative sources of income are needed to support family life. This is the rationale for the Community Service (PkM) activity of the Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering Study Program during the COVID-19 Pandemic entitled Training on Starting an Online Business for the Community RW 010 Wijaya Kusuma Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta. This training aims to provide understanding for people who want to switch to online business processes and provide opportunities for people who want to start an online business. Participants benefit by gaining knowledge on how to start an online business with the steps, so that participants can start trying to do business online. This can also be seen from the results of the questionnaire, as many as 30.8% of participants felt the benefits of this training both by giving a satisfaction score = 4 (from a scale of 5) and 69.2% of participants responded that the benefits of this training were very good by giving a score of 5 on the satisfaction scale. ABSTRAK: Pandemi COVID-19 memberi dampak sangat besar pada sektor ekonomi dan sosial di dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Dampak yang pertama adalah melemahnya konsumsi rumah tangga atau melemahnya daya beli masyarakat. Dampak kedua adalah bahwa pandemi COVID-19 ini menimbulkan adanya ketidakpastian kapan akan berakhir. Kedua dampak ini menyebabkan kemampuan investasi masyarakat juga ikut melemah dan berimplikasi terhadap berhentinya sebuah usaha yang mengakibatkan pemberhentian beberapa karyawan alias Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK) sehingga diperlukan alternatif sumber penghasilan untuk menopang kehidupan keluarga. Hal ini yang menjadi dasar pemikiran kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Program Studi (Prodi) Teknik Elektro dan Teknik Industri dalam masa Pandemi COVID-19 ini berjudul Pelatihan Memulai Bisnis Online Bagi Masyarakat RW 010 Kelurahan Wijaya Kusuma Kecamatan Grogol Petamburan Jakarta Barat. Pelatihan ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman bagi masyarakat yang hendak beralih ke proses bisnis ataupun pemasaran secara online serta memberikan peluang bagi masyarakat yang hendak memulai usaha secara online. Peserta mendapatkan manfaat dengan memperoleh pengetahuan mengenai cara memulai usaha secara online dengan langkah-langkahnya, sehingga peserta dapat mulai mencoba melakukan usaha secara online. Hal ini juga terlihat dari hasil evaluasi, sebanyak 30,8% peserta merasakan bahwa pelatihan ini baik dengan memberi nilai kepuasan 4 (dari maksimal 5 pada skala kepuasan) dan 69,2% peserta memberikan respon bahwa pelatihan ini sangat baik dengan memberi nilai kepuasan 5

Abstract

The Solar Dryer Dome (SDD), an independent energy system equipped with Artificial Intelligence to support the drying process, has been developed. However, inaccurate state-of-charge (SOC) predictions in each battery cell resulted in the vulnerability of the battery to over-charging and over-discharging, which accelerated the battery performance degradation. This research aims to develop an accurate neural network model for predicting the SOC of battery-cell level. The model aims to maintain the battery cell balance under dynamic load applications. It is accompanied by a developed dashboard to monitor and provide crucial information for early maintenance of the battery in the SDD. The results show that the neural network estimates the SOC with the lowest MAE of 0.175, followed by the Random Forest and support vector machine methods with MAE of 0.223 and 0.259, respectively. A dashboard was developed to help farmers monitor batteries efficiently. Abstract

Rats pose a significant threat to rice farmers, attacking crops at all stages of growth, including storage, with the most severe damage occurring during the reproductive phase. In Bendung Village, Bendung District, rats have caused substantial losses, including crop failures, particularly due to unpredictable weather conditions. The proposed solution involves creating eco-friendly rodent repellents powered by solar energy. The activities include socialization, device design, technology implementation, and evaluation. Evaluation results indicate that 40% of farmers understand the operation of the rodent repellents using frequency waves, and 60% understand their environmental impact. This program has provided farmers with new knowledge about methods to repel harmful rodents.
