Abstract

The food and beverage industry contributes 65% to the total plastic packaging demand and also produces plastic waste. This causes problems for the environment, humans, and others, especially in the waste treatment process. Because plastic is difficult to recycle by the soil or the environment. Consumption of plastic packaging also reaches 65% of the total national plastic consumption. To overcome this plastic processing, a plastic Waste processing machine is made that can process and change the form of plastic waste into other derivative products. The important thing in plastic processing machines is the ability of plastic processing machines to produce products according to consumer desires. The purpose of this research is to get the maximum capacity of plastic Waste shredding, and to know the production capacity of plastic waste in one process of enumeration. The experiment method is used in this research to get the performance of the machine like voltage, power, cutting force of tool, and cutting speed. Also Taguchi method are used to analyze of quality product by varying shape of product waste plastic such as cup, bottle and gallon cap. In this test, a maximum capacity of 20Kg/hour was obtained by using the plastic gallon cap test material. By calculate of cutting force for gallon cap is obtained voltage 231.5 Volts and power 555,4  Watts at shaft rotation 24,96 rpm. Cutting force of tool is 25,92 N and torque 1,68Nm with cutting speed of 1.986 m/min. For cup plastic obtained, the results on voltage are 238.9 Volt and power 585,96 Watts by a shaft rotation of 25,1 rpm. The cutting force of the tool is 54 N and torque 3.36 Nm with a cutting speed of 2.025m/min. For the plastic bottle, the Voltage is 238.86 Volt and the power of 595.9 Watts at the shaft rotation is 24,8rpm.  Cutting force of tool is 119.23 N and torque is 7.75 Nm at the cutting speed is 1.97m/min.

Abstract

Pasar modal merupakan salah satu wadah dalam berinvestasi saham. Pilihan indeks saham dalam pasar modal di Indonesia dapat dilihat pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), dimana beberapa diantaranya memiliki prinsip syariah. Salah satu indeks saham yang memiliki prinsip tersebut adalah MES BUMN 17. Pada masa new normal tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa dalam berinvestasi akan ada kemungkinan dalam mendapatkan imbal hasil dan risiko yang tidak terduga. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah membentuk portofolio yang optimal pada 17 saham yang tergabung dalam MES BUMN 17 pada masa new normal. Penelitian ini menggunakan Single Index Model. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pada periode new normal, yakni pada periode Desember 2020 s.d November 2021. Hasil penelitiaan didapatkan bahwa pada periode new normal, pada saham MES BUMN 17, memberikan keuntungan yang optimal. Dari 17 saham yang terdapat pada MES BUMN 17, didapatkan 3 saham yaitu saham BRIS (Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk.) dengan proporsi portofolio 67.093%, saham PTBA (Bukit Asam Tbk.) dengan proporsi portofolio 21.481% dan saham IPCC (Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk.) dengan proporsi portofolio 11.426%. Expected return portofolio optimal dan risiko portofolio optimal masing-masing sebesar 0.82% dan 0.35% per minggu. Artinya dalam skenario portofolio optimal yang diperoleh dalam analisis ini masih memberikan keuntungan bagi para investor pada periode new normal.

Abstract

Seeing the needs of capital market industry players, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) developed an Islamic stock index. The newest type of sharia stock index launched by the IDX is IDX Sharia Growth (IDXSHAGROW). Stock investment requires a strategy to obtain maximum returns with minimal risk, one of which is diversification in portfolio formation. This study aims to form an optimal portfolio on the latest Islamic stock index on the Indonesian capital market, namely IDX Sharia Growth (IDXSHAGROW). The model used is the single index diversification model. The data used is for the period December 1, 2021 to. November 30, 2022 with weekly frequency. The results showed that the 30 shares that are members of IDXSHAGROW have 14 candidate shares. Furthermore, by making a cut-off, 11 stocks were included in the optimal portfolio with each proportion, namely MAPI 25.67%, KLBF 22.04%, AKRA 13.28%, UNTR 12.16%, MPMX 8, 3%, BRMS 4.4%, INCO 3.6%, LPPF 2.93%, ELSA 2.59%, AGII 2.54% and MYOR 2.48%. The optimal portfolio expected return value is 0.0017568 with a variance value of 0.00245 and a standard deviation of 0.04954 at weekly frequency. From the analysis of optimal portfolio formation in this study, the results were quite profitable for investors. This can be seen from the expected return value of the portfolio which is higher than the market value with each risk.

Abstract

The problem of plastic waste is critical things because everybody still often uses plastic for various daily needs. Therefore, recycling is considered very important to overcome these problems, including using a plastic chopping machine. The types of plastics used in this research are HDPE, PE, and PP plastics with experimental methods and the Taguchi method to determine the effect of plastic variations, the dimensions of the chopped results, and the percentage value of the contribution of the test variables to the plastic chopping machine. The results obtained in the study are that all types of plastics can be adequately chopped, with the optimum size for PP plastic being 6,8 x 4,5 mm with a processing time of 91,5 seconds. For PE, it is 16 x 10. 5 mm with a processing time of 170.6 seconds. While for HDPE, it is 68 x 34.5 mm with a processing time of 251.1 seconds. These results follow those obtained using the Taguchi method, with a contribution percentage of 77 % for the variable type of plastic followed by dimensions, weight, and thickness.

Abstract

A community service program in the form of workshops and soft skills training in the form of 2D drawing skills for teachers and laboratory assistants at Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Banten Province has been implemented. This activity is in partnership with SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. This program is implemented to improve the ability of educators to help students face the world of work and industry after they graduate. The application used in this workshop and training is the AutoCAD application. The training material is about an introduction to AutoCAD, drawing simple 2D objects and complex 2D objects. Participants in this training activity consisted of teachers and laboratory assistants. This training activity uses presentation methods, tutorials, practice, discussions, questions and answers, and exercises. The training results showed increased participants' soft skills in 2D drawing using the AutoCAD application. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk workshop dan pelatihan softskill berupa keterampilan menggambar 2D pada guru dan laboran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Provinsi Banten telah dilaksanakan. Kegiatan ini bermitra dengan SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. Program ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para pendidik untuk membantu peserta didik dalam menghadapi dunia kerja dan industri setelah mereka lulus. Aplikasi yang digunakan pada workshop dan pelatihan ini yaitu dengan menggunakan aplikasi AutoCAD. Materi pelatihan yang diberikan yaitu tentang pengantar AutoCAD, menggambar objek 2D sederhana dan menggambar objek 2D kompleks. Peserta kegiatan pelatihan ini terdiri dari guru dan laboran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode presentasi, tutorial, praktik, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan latihan. Hasil pelatihan didapatkan peningkatan kemampuan softskill para peserta dalam drawing-2D dengan menggunakan aplikasi AutoCAD.
