Abstract

Abstract: The explanation on bacterial topic in the main teaching materials used by the teacher is general and is not explained in detail, the examples given are universal and not contextual which have an impact on low student learning achievements. Thus, teachers are required to be able to create a learning process that is more innovative, factual, and contextual. Handout can be desiagning for Teaching materials on bacterial topic. This study aims to determine the potential of biology handout design on bacterial topic for Senior High School Grade X. This research was conducted at FKIP, Riau University in December 2020-March 2021. This study used the ADDIE model, which is analysis and design stages. The results showed that the analysis phase, by analyzing the curriculum, syllabus, KD, and the material in accordance with the results of the study. The design stage is designing learning tools in the form of a syllabus and lesson plans, and designing a handout consisting of a cover, foreword, contents, study instructions, (KI, KD, and IPK), introduction, elaboration of subject matter, evaluation, and reference sources. The conclusion is the biology handouts design on KD 3.5 and KD 4.5 specifically for bacterial topic can be used as handout teaching materials for Senior High School student Grade X.Key Words: Handout. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the composition of the mixture of coconut coir and mangrove wood with the best variation of briquette pressure and produce a learning module design on high school biotechnology class XII material. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Laboratory of FKIP, Production Laboratory, and Energy Conversion in Mechanical Engineering, Riau University. This research lasted for 3 months starting from March - May 2019. This research was conducted in 2 stages: the first stage: the experiment of utilizing coconut fiber and mangrove wood in briquette making and the second stage: the design of biotechnology learning modules in high school. This study used an experimental method with a factorial completely randomized design of 5 x 3 consisting of 5 types of treatment in the composition of coconut coir and mangrove wood composition and 3 types of treatment on briquette pressures with 3 replications each. The parameters measured in this study are water content, ash content and heating value. The results of this study produced the briquettes with the best combination found in the A3B3 treatment, namely the composition of 25% coconut fiber and 75% mangrove wood with the use of briquette pressure of 150 kg / cm3. Based on the analysis of the potential of the research results can be used as a module design learning materials biotechnology class XII high school.Key Words: Coconut coir, mangrove wood, briquettes, briquette pressure, module

Abstract

Abstract: Efforts to increase student interest are with interesting learning media, one of which is Leaflet learning media. This study aims to determine the potential of leaflet design in high school learning for class X Protista material. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Campus, Riau University in August-December 2020. This research was carried out with the ADDIE design, namely the analysis and design stages. The analysis stage is carried out by analyzing the curriculum and analyzing the syllabus issued by the 2013 revised 2018 Ministry of Education and Culture. The design stage consists of designing learning tools, in the form of syllabus, lesson plans and designing leaflets consisting of: Cover, Title of Basic Competence / Main Materials to be achieved, Supporting Information, Learning Resources and Assignments and Assessments. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that the leaflet design for Protista class X KD 3.6. and KD. 4.6 can be used as an alternative learning media. Abstract

Abstract: The development of science and technology is so rapid, the world ofeducation is required to produce natural resources and quality education. One way toimprove the quality of education is to use teaching materials. The limitations of existinglearning resources in the form of teaching materials specifically for protists make theteaching and learning process less effective and become an obstacle in achieving protistmaterial, moreover the scope of protist material is quite large with a relatively shortduration of protist material delivery. This study aims to determine the potential of thedesign of the biology module on the protist material for class X senior high school. Thisresearch was conducted at the Bina Widya Campus, Riau University in August -November 2020. The design of this module refers to the ADDIE development modelwhere the stages used are only the analysis and design stages. The analysis stage wascarried out by analyzing the 2013 curriculum and analyzing the learning material.Thedesign stage is done by designing learning tools in the form of a syllabus and lessonplans first and then designing modules. Based on the potential analysis of the researchresults, it can be used as a design for biology modules on special material for plant-likeprotists of class X SMA KD. 3.6 Grouping protists based on general characteristics ofthe class and their role in life and KD 4.6 Presenting reports on the results ofinvestigations about the various roles of protists in life.Key Words: Module, Protista

Abstract

Abstract: The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 affected technology so thatdevelopment occurred very rapidly. This has an impact on all fields, including the worldof education. In the 2013 curriculum, teachers are required to integrate learning withadvances in technology, communication and information (ICT) to improve the quality ofeducation. But in reality, the learning process is still dominated by conventionallearning and the learning media used have not varied, and have not been integratedwith technology in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. Based on theexisting problems, this study aims to design Augmented Reality technology-basedlearning media integrated into the card. (AR-Card) on bacterial material. This researchis a descriptive study which consists of two stages, namely analysis and design. Theanalysis stage was carried out by observation using a questionnaire and the designstage was carried out by utilizing various computer software. The result of the researchis a card media design that is integrated with Augmented Reality, so that students cansee 3D AR biological abstract objects directly with this technology. Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to use the results of the Salmonella sp test on duck eggs as a module design for the enrichment of eubacteria material for class X SMA in March-April 2020. This research was conducted in 3 stages, namely the analysis of the potential development of eubacteria teaching materials for class X SMA , and development. This research was conducted in the laboratory of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau Pekanbaru. Based on the potential analysis, the research results can be used as a module design for the enrichment of eubacteria material for class X SMA. The development of the learning module includes the Analysis, Design and Development stages (prototype 1), with a module structure consisting of a cover, foreword, a table of contents, a list of pictures, a curriculum level, instructions for using the module, an introduction, learning activities, exercises, summaries, tests formative, feedback, follow-up, formative test answer keys, bibliography and glossary.Key Words: Salmonella sp, Modul, Enrichment.

Abstract

Abstract: Booklet are print media in the form of leaflets or magazines that function as media to convey messages or information. A booklet is a small book that has at least five pages but no more than forty-eight pages outside the cover count. This study aims to determine the potential of booklet design in class X protista high school learning material. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Riau University in August-December 2020. The design of this booklet refers to the ADDIE development model, the stage used is only the analysis and design stage. The analysis stage was carried out by analyzing the 2013 curriculum and analyzing the learning material. The design stage is carried out by designing the syllabus and lesson plans first, then designing a booklet. Based on the results of the research on the design of biology booklet at KD 3.6 and 4.6, especially on Protista material, it can be used as teaching material for class X SMA.Key Words: Booklet, Protista

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the effect of the chemical compounds of Dayak onion (Eleutherine americana Merr.) Root extract against Propionibacterium acne bacteria that cause acne which is used in designing students' worksheets on kingdom monera class X high school material conducted in December 2019 - February 2020 in University of Riau PMIPA Chemistry Laboratory, University of Riau Biology PMIPA Laboratory and Pekanbaru Regional Health Laboratory. This research is an experimental laboratory study using the method of diffusion of wells on BAP (Blood Agar Plate) media with 4 treatments. The treatment was repeated 3 times with various concentrations of 30%, 50%, 70%, and 90% and terracycline was used as a comparison and distilled water as a control. This study used a laboratory experimental method. The parameters observed were the characterization of Propionibacterium acne bacteria, the diameter of the inhibitory zone of Propionibacterium acne growth bacteria and the potential results of the study as a design of Class X Biology LKPD in Kingdom Monera material. Analysis of research data using One Way Anova at the 0.05 level. The results showed the characteristics of white, round shaped bacterial colonies and on microscopic observations of bacterial stem cells. In physiological characterization found the characteristics of the positive salt-colored salt bacteria, positive catalase, non-motile and positive indole. Whereas in measuring the diameter of the zone of inhibition of the growth of P. acne, tuber extract of dayak has the ability to inhibit the growth of P. acne bacteria at the best concentration of 90% with an average diameter of inhibition zone of 19 mm within 48 hours. The results obtained were then used as a draft LKPD on KD 3.5 and KD 4.5 kingdom monera material class X high school. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of booklet design in class X bacterial high school learning material. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Riau University in March- Mei 2020. This research was conducted in 2 stages: the experimental stage and the second stage is Booklet Design that is analysis of the potential development of high school learning media Bacteria and Fungi class X material. The study used an experimental method of descriptive qualitative research design. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that endophytic bacteria isolated from Laban plants can be used as a booklet design of class X bacterial material for SMA KD 3.5 and fungi material KD 3.7.Key Words: Bacteria, Booklet, Fungi

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to use the detection results of Salmonella sp in broilers as a handout design on the eubacteria concept for class X SMA in August-September 2020. This research was conducted in 2 stages, namely the analysis of the potential development of teaching materials for the eubacteria concept of class X SMA, and the design stage. This research was conducted in the laboratory of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau Pekanbaru. Based on the analysis of the potential research results, it can be used as a handout design on the eubacteria concept of class X SMA. The development of the handout design includes the Analysis and Design stages with a handout structure consisting of cover, introduction (KI and KD 3.5 identifying the structure, way of life, reproduction and the role of bacteria in life, purpose, instructions for use), material description, evaluation questions, and bibliography.Key Words: Salmonella sp, Handout, Eubacteria.
