Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is based on observations that were found in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru are still many students who throw trash out of place and there are still students who arrive late to school, there are students who do not do their homework, and there are still students who dress does not fit with school rules. This study has the objective to determine the character of discipline and hard work in class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru. The research is descriptive quantitative research, using research instruments such as questionnaires and interviews. Characters discipline Elementary School fifth grade student 161 Pekanbaru in three indicator derived from the percentage of students' answers, the third indicator disciplinary character get good category that is on the discipline of time with a percentage indicator 79,37% and indicators of regulatory discipline with 82.84% and the percentage indicator of behavioral discipline earn a percentage 83.44%. Character hard work in class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru in two indicator derived from the percentage of students, both indicators karaker hard work getting both categories namely on indicators of completing all tasks well and timely with the percentage of 79.28% and the indicator does not easily give up in completing the task with a percentage of 77.81%.Key Words: Character, Discipline, Work Hard

Abstract

This research is madeto find out the influence of school organization and learning style toward mathematic learning achievement. As follows: 1) To find out the influence between student activity in school organization toward mathematic learning achievement, 2) To find out the influence between learning style toward mathematic learning achievement, 3) To find out the influence between student activity in organization and learning styletoward mathematic learning achievement. The research is quantitative research which used descriptive method. The purpose of this research is giving description about the influence of student activity in school organization and learning style student toward mathematic learning achievement of eight grade student MTs. Darul Ulum Kotabaru academic year 2016/2017. The result of this research: 1) there is significant influence between student activityin organization at school toward learning achievement, 2) there is significant influence between student learning style toward learning achievement, and 3) there is significant influence between students activity in organization at school toward student learning style. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims at describing the evaluation result of Mathematic learning procces in MTs Darul Ulum Kotabaru as well as discovering the problems in Mathematics learning process in MTs Darul Ulum Kotabaru which consit of planning the lesson, presenting the lesson, and learning evaluation. The instrument used in this research were questionnaires, observasi sheets, and documentations. The subjects of this research were 2 mathemathics teachers who taught call VII and have joined 2013 curriculum training. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively The results of the research reveal that: (1) in terms Contex Evaluation, this aspect shows that there is suitability  of school readiness, teachers, and objectives of Mathematics learning program in MTs Darul Ulum Kotabaru, it is categorized as very good, (2) in terms of Input Evaluation, on the input aspect in Mathematics learning, the subject of SM, NJ are in good category, (3) in terms of Process evaluation, on the process aspect, Mathematics learning process for subjects SM is in good category and subject NJ is on fair category, and (4) in terms of Product Evaluation, Mathematics learning assessment of the teachers based on 2013 curiculum on subject SM and NJ who have joined 2013 curiculum training is in fair category. Keyword: Mathematics learning, evaluation, 2013 curiculum

Abstract

Abstract This research is a qualitative research that is descriptive, that is the data collected is not numbers, can be in the form of words or description of something. This study aims to describe student learning difficulties based on indicators of mathematical reasoning ability in class VII A SMP Pamukan Selatan 1. This research instrument is the researcher himself who is the main instrument, and the supporting instruments of this instrument are writing equipment, as well as handphones. Data collection techniques in this study include: 1) Observation (observation), 2) Test (Answering Questions), 3) Interview (Question and Answer) , 4) Documentation (supplementary data). Abstract

This research is motivated by students' difficulties in understanding problem solving material and knowing the peraepsi / presumption of lecturers and students. Therefore, research on the development of learning video-based teaching materials in the form of problem solving textbooks was carried out. The purpose of this study was to find out how the perceptions / assumptions of lecturers and students on teaching materials in the form of learning videos-based textbooks. This research is a development research using ADDIE development model. The subject of this research was the STKIP Paris Barantai 5th semester mathematics education program students. Data obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Data analysis techniques were carried out in a qualitative descriptive way. The results of the study of the needs analysis of learning video-based teaching materials found that: (1) Lecturers in the much needed category were 5 people or 71.42% and Needed as many as 2 people 28.57%, (2) Students in the category desperately needed as many as 22 people or 88%, it takes as many as 3 people 12%. The conclusion of this study is learning video-based teaching materials in mathematics problem solving courses are needed by lecturers and students. Abstract

The research subjects were 19 students in semester 2 of the 2019/2020 academic year. This research was designed in the form of One Group. The data were collected by using test learning outcomes and observations. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The results achieved after implementing Google Classroom-based learning on Trigonometry material, which are in the high category on the subject of Trigonometry, obtained an average score for cycle 1 of 75 in cycle 2 of 76.9 then an increase of 11.9 from the ideal score 100. The percentage of student learning completeness in the first cycle was 73.84% of 19 students while in the second cycle the percentage of student learning completeness increased to 89.47% from 19 students. There was an increase in the frequency of student attendance, the activeness and seriousness of students in the teaching and learning process according to the results of observations during the action. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that learning with the application of distance learning based on Google Classroom can improve the learning outcomes of second semester students, especially in the Trigonometry subject.

Abstract

The Google Classroom application is one of the alternative media that can be used in distance learning during the current Covid 19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by mathematics education students at STKIP Paris Barantai in online Algebra courses. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were students programming algebra courses. The research subjects were selected based on the snowball sampling technique. added a questionnaire about student difficulties before the protocol analysis was carried out to make it easier to understand the context of the interview and then analyzed the results, it was obtained in general (1) related to the technical difficulties of internet networks and quota that many students complained about, (2) difficulties in using the Google Classroom Application in principle can be used, it just needs to add applications that make it easier to communicate virtually. (3) related to the unpreparedness of the lecturer. Material delivery was not diverse and only relied on PPT or PDF

Abstract

The impact of Covid-19 in various aspects of life throughout the region has been disrupted without exception in the fields of education and learning. E-learning can be used to improve understanding of the material and expand the sources of teaching materials as well as add learning activities and assist lecturers in streamlining online learning time. This research is an experimental research with a development stage that produces an e-learning learning by applying the Google Classroom Application as a learning medium. The research was carried out in the mathematics education department of STKIP Paris Barantai in the Spatial Analytical Geometry course. The sample was taken by purposive sampling method, namely from the population of students who attended lectures. The variables studied in this study include aspects of Google classroom learning management which consist of variables, evaluation of the implementation of google classroom learning, design and manufacture of materials, learning planning, learning interactions, and delivery of learning. The results of this study through the use of Google Classroom as a learning medium during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was quite effectively used with a tendency rate of 68.18%.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to determine whether the use of the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) cooperative learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of eighth grade students of MTs Negeri 2 Kotabaru. To determine whether the use of the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) cooperative learning model affect the social attitudes of class VIII students at MTs Negeri 2 Kotabaru. The method used in this research is an experimental quantitative research method. The research design used is the Pre-Experimental Design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample amounted to 32 people from 123 people total population. Data were collected using research instruments in the form of learning outcomes tests and questionnaires.The results of this study are (1) the use of the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) Cooperative Learning Model has an effect on the learning outcomes of students in Class VIII B of MTsN 2 Kotabaru by 1.8%. (2) The use of the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) Cooperative Learning Model has an effect on the social attitudes of students in Class VIII B of MTsN 2 Kotabaru by 9.3%.Keywords: Effect, RTE Cooperative Type, Learning Outcomes, Social Attitude

Abstract

In learning mathematics of the subject sometimes makes mistakes on working the questions. This can occur due to the subject not understanding the material being taught, not being thorough, not remembering concepts, and mistakes in applying formulas resulting in errors. The purpose of this research is to find out conceptual and procedural errors in solving SPLDV questions for Class X AKL students 1 at the SMK Negeri 1 Kotabaru. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The techniques of data collection through the provision of tests and interviews. The research subjects consisted of high-ability subjects, moderate-ability subjects, and low-ability subjects. The results showed that the conceptual errors occurred in students with high capabel, medium and low abilities, namely the indicators of mistake in classifying objects of mathematical based on their properties. Meanwhile, the procedural errors only occur in students with moderate and low abilities, namely the indicators of irregularity by the steps of solving math problems, errors in substituting values into variables, errors in calculations and errors due to not continuing with the solving steps.
