Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is that the strength of the jump smash athletes of Club PB Bank Riau badminton sons of Riau Islands Pekanbaru is still lacking, this can be seen from various trials and official matches and this is one of the factors causing the defeat. This type of research is a type of experimental research to see the effect of the form of training. The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of medicine ball exercise on the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles in the athletes of Club PB Bank Riau badminton sons of Riau Islands Pekanbaru. The population in this study was PB Club Riau Kepri Pekanbaru, amounting to 6 people. The sampling technique is by using total sampling, where the total population is sampled. Data collection techniques obtained from the pre-test and post test. The instrument in this study used an expanding dynamometer as a tool to measure arm and shoulder muscle strength. The analysis was carried out using the t-test. based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of medicine ball exercise on arm and shoulder muscle strength on the badminton athletes of Club PB Bank Riau badminton club Kepri Pekanbaru proven by the results of tcount of 13.23 and t table of 1.943. Means Thitung> T table. At the level of ɑ = 0.05.Key Words: Exercise medicine ball, arm and shoulder muscle strength

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that is still a health problem because it can cause heart disease, brain injury, vision and kidney disorders. The data of hypertensive patients in Puskesmas Pamitran in 2015 increased by 1,268 people. The wrong diet and lack of physical activity is one of the risks that the disease hypertension. Researchers will see whether there is a relationship between diet and physical activity on the level of hypertension at Pamitran Puskesmas 2017. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between diet and physical activity with the level of hypertension in the work area Puskesmas Pamitran Year 2017. Method: The design of this research is qualitative analytic with cross sectional approach, it is done at puskesmas pamitran in August 2017. The research population is 66 people and the sample is 55 people with accidental method. Relationship analysis using chi-square test. Results: There was a significant relationship between diet and hypertension rate in hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Pamitran (ρ = 0,033). There was a correlation between physical activity and hypertension rate in hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Pamitran (ρ = 0.001).

Abstract

Pemulihan lahan bekas tambang menghadapi beberapa masalah seperti pengikisan tanah dan tanah kering karena terjadinya erosi dan rendahnya water holding capacity (WHC) lapang. Ditinjau dari tutupan vegetasi PT Bharinto Ekatama memiliki 3 variasi tapak tumbuh yaitu hutan, cover crop lebat dan cover crop jarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh WHC terhadap tingkat laju erosi dan pada 3 variasi tapak tumbuh PT Bharinto Ekatama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, pemetaan lapangan, metode purposive sampling, metode tongkat, metode gravimetri, metode matematis, metode analisis statistik korelasi dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi WHC terhadap erosi pada are cover crop lebat mempunyai nilai signifikansi 0,538 dengan nilai korelasi pearson sebesar -0,258 menunjukkan korelasi lemah. Korelasi WHC terhadap erosi area cover crop jarang mempunyai nilai signifikansi 0,045 dengan nilai korelasi pearson sebesar -0,717 menunjukkan korelasi kuat. Korelasi WHC terhadap erosi area hutan memiliki signifikansi 0,742 dengan nilai korelasi pearson sebesar 0,135 berarti tidak terjadi korelasi

Abstract

PT Sinar Semesta is an industrial company engaged in metal casting, one of which is Base Plate which is located on Jl. Raya Solo-Yogya Km. 26 Klepu, Ceper, Klaten. The problem that arises at PT Sinar Semesta is product quality that needs to be improved so that it can compete with other products on the market. Therefore to improve product quality, PT Sinar Semesta needs to be directly supported by all parties in the company and all operators, especially the production operators. This study used the Seven Tools Quality with the results of the research that in January - December 2021 PT Sinar Semesta produced 2091 Base Plate products, with a total of 301 defects. There were three types of defects studied in January - September 2021, namely perforated with 95 defects in Base Plate products, porous defects with 139 defects, and rough surface defects with 67 defects with a defect percentage of 31.56%, 46, 17%, and 22.26%.
