Abstract

Abstract. The development of the region towards the outskirts of the city has become a common phenomenon of cities in Indonesia. The area that was formerly a deserted area is now a sought-after area of urban society. This is due to limited land in the city center causing the start of the spread of occupancy in the suburbs. The development of suburban areas that will undergo a transition causes a change of space in the region This phenomenon can be found in the city of Semarang. One of them is the district of Mijen Semarang. The area that was formerly a small settlement with the potential of rubber forest farming has changed into one of the elite areas in the city of Semarang. The emergence of housing Bukit Semarang Baru (BSB) as a catalyst has a great impact on the development of the surrounding environment. Bukit Semarang Baru (BSB) in Mijen District, Semarang City is a new city concept housing that provides housing, education, industry, recreation and other commercial facilities. The transfer of land from rubber plantation to BSB housing is estimated to cause the transformation of space related to the function and land use in the surrounding settlements, especially the area directly adjacent to the village of Wonolopo. This research uses a rationalistic approach with qualitative paradigm, which in this study aims to understand and know the pattern of settlement transformation in settlements that occur in the village Wonolopo, Mijen, Semarang. Through this research is expected to be able to analyze and know how big the change of settlement space

Abstract

AbstrakKawasan pinggiran Selatan Kota Surakarta menjadi favorit bermukim didasari kedekatannya dengan pusat Kota Surakarta. Dengan semakin padatnya kawasan pinggiran Selatan Kota Surakarta, pengembang mulai melirik daerah tetangganya, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Tahun 2000 banyak dibangun perumahan di Kecamatan Grogol dan Baki, Kabupaten Sukoharjo dan menjadi daya tarik masyarakat yang memilih alternatif hunian di kawasan pinggiran Selatan Kota Surakarta.Selama ini pola permintaan masyarakat akan perumahan hanya dikira-kira oleh pengembang dan pemerintah kota. Masing-masing mempunyai persepsi sendiri tanpa didasari preferensi yang jelas. Pengembang lebih berorientasi pada profit/keuntungan, membuat pola sendiri, yang kurang memenuhi keinginan masyarakat. Masyarakat sebagai konsumen hampir tidak pemah dilibatkan langsung, padahal mereka calon penghuni perumahan tersebut. Secara umum, preferensi masyarakat akan perumahan dapat diperoleh jika faktor-faktor internal maupun eksternal yang mendasari pertimbangan pemilihan diketahui. Faktor-faktor tersebut yang menjadi indikator preferensi masyarakat akan perumahan.Melalui survey yang sudah dilakukan, didapat hasil bahwa Mayoritas masyarakat awam akan lebih memilih fasade dengan langgam minimalis dalam preferensinya. Hal ini dipengaruhi trend perumahan saat ini yang selalu memilih langgam minimalis dalam desain rumah, juga dari marketing rumah melalui iklan-iklan di media massa yang menampilkan langgam minimalis dengan pertimbangan lebih laku. Sedikit dari masyarakat yang paham akan desain lebih memilih yang sesuai dengan karakternya. Kata Kunci : preferensi, perumahan, fasade AbstractThe southern suburbs of Surakarta City are favorites to settle based on their proximity to the center of Surakarta. With the increasingly densely populated southern suburbs of Surakarta City, developers began to glance at the neighboring areas of Sukoharjo Regency. In 2000 many built housing in Grogol and Baki Sub-district, Sukoharjo Regency and being the appeal of people who choose residential alternatives in the southern suburbs of Surakarta City.During this time the pattern of community demand for housing is only guess by the developers and the city government. Each has its own perception without a clear preference. Developers are more profit-oriented / profitable, create their own patterns, which less meet the desires of the community. Society as a consumer almost never be directly involved, even though they are prospective residents of such housing. In general, community preferences for housing can be obtained if internal and external factors underlying election considerations are known. These factors are an indicator of people's preference for housing.Through the survey that has been done, obtained the result that the majority of ordinary people will prefer the fasade with minimalist style in its preference. This is influenced by the current housing trend that always choose the minimalist style in the design of the house, also from home marketing through advertisements in mass media featuring minimalist style with the consideration of more sold. Abstract

Abstract: In structuring a city there is a high complexity experienced by cities so that existing problems will not be endless. When conducting city structuring there are many factors that influence in creating a good city environment. In providing a strong identity, there needs to be a harmonious relationship between one place and another. To find out the description of the strong characteristics and the clear need for serial vision scanning. Kudus itself is a city that has interesting characteristics on the road corridor. The corridors in the holy area have unique visual characteristics, which triggers the community to remember a building in that location. In this case, the corridor in the Menara Kudus Mosque Area is interesting to be appointed as an effort to revive the identity of the old city of the holy region through serial vision and its components. This research is considered important enough to be one of the basic studies in its design. In addition, it is very important to maintain the visual character of a corridor.Keyword: Serial Vision, Corridor, Jl.Menara KudusAbstrak: Dalam penataan sebuah kota terdapat kompleksitas yang tinggi dialami oleh kota sehingga permasalahan yang ada tidak akan ada habisnya. Saat melakukan penataan kota terdapat banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam menciptakan lingkungan kota yang baik. Dalam memberikan identitas yang kuat perlu adanya keselarasan hubungan antar satu tempat dengan tempat yang lain. Untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang cirikhas yang kuat dan jelas perlu adanya pemindaian secara serial vision. Kudus sendiri merupakan kota yang memiliki cirikhas yang menarik pada koridor jalan. Adapun koridor yang ada di kawasan kudus mempunyai karakteristik visual unik sehingga memicu masyarakat untuk mengingat sebuah bangunan di lokasi tersebut. Dalam hal ini koridor di Kawasan Masjid Menara Kudus menarik untuk diangkat sebagai upaya mengangkat kembali identitas kawasan kota lama kudus melalui serial vision dan komponen didalamnya. Penelitian ini dirasa cukup penting untuk menjadi salah satu dasar kajian dalam perancangannya. Selain itu sangat penting untuk menjaga karakter visual sebuah koridor.Kata Kunci: Serial Vision, Koridor, Jl. Menara Kudus

Abstract

The spatial practice of women in Kampung Kauman is a concrete manifestation of the active agents of spatial production in everyday life, which uses housing to support their economic, social, and cultural activities. This paper aims to expand the idea of women-led domestic territory using the lens of interiority, highlighting women's practices that connect and expand their space in the inner space of the dwelling and beyond. This research was conducted by mapping the everyday practices of women in Kampung Kauman to reveal various spatial settings in space. This paper argues that women's practice can broaden the understanding of interiority related to houses and their neighbourhoods. The findings of this study show that the connection between domestic spaces to the neighbourhood may change depending on the women's activity, the agreement of social and cultural activities alternately in the domestic area, and shifting the domestic area into a commercial area. This spatial arrangement can guide residential areas and urban environments by considering domestic interiority in everyday life.
