Abstract

Labor absorption is the large number of workers absorbed or working in a business or company. Increased employment will affect wages and capital. This writing has the aim to determine the effect of wages and capital on employment. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis on cross-section data to determine the effect of independent variables with the dependent variable. The first step in conducting regression is to test through the classical assumption test, including the normality test, the multicollinearity test, the heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation test, and the statistical analysis of regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis proposed in this study, the two variables significantly influence the dependent variable. The wage variable has a significant and positive effect on labor absorption in Kendang Jimbe small and medium industries in Blitar City, capital variables have a significant and positive effect on labor absorption in Kendang Jimbe small and medium industries in Blitar City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structure, conduct, and industrial performance at the Shoe Industry Center, Mojokerto Regency. This research method uses descriptive quantitative and qualitative, the population in this study is 30 units of the shoe business. The study was conducted by analyzing primary data, which was obtained from interviews with leather shoe entrepreneurs in the Mojokerto district. Data analysis was performed by regression. The independent variables used include Market Share (MS) to represent the structure, Capital, and Labor Ratio (CLR) to represent behavior and Price-Cost Margin (PCM) for a measure of industry profits. The results showed that the Market Share (MS) and Capital and Labor Ratio (CLR) variables had a positive and significant effect on the shoe industry variable, while the X-efficiency variable had a positive and significant effect on the shoe industry variable. From the results of this analysis, it could be detected that The existing market structure in the shoe industry in Mojokerto Regency is a type of market with intense oligopoly competition. This can be seen from the high value of food which can be indicated by the number of producers relative to market size, the heterogeneous types of goods.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country that mostly works in agriculture, so agriculture takes a big deal to the economic growth of both the state and the region.  Coffee-picking labor is the occupation of the majority of people in Sukorejo village, to work as coffee-pickers can raise family finances. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the socio-economic and productivity of coffee plantation workers in the Sukorejo village, Tirtoyudo district. This research was carried out using the quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study was 30 coffee-pickers. In this study, it is known that the influencing factors are the independent variables of work experience and working hours. This study uses primary data obtained through questionnaires and is analyzed with multiple cross-sectional regression using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 23. It is observed that work experience and working hours have a positive and significant effect on productivity. The coefficient of determination (R-squared) value is 0.417 in which showed the variables of work experience and working hours. This result suggests that the productivity variable is 41.7%, and the remaining 58.3% explained by variables outside the model.

Abstract

Infrastructure is one of the important values to support economic growth and development in a country. Inadequate infrastructure will hinder the country's progress and competition compared to other countries. One of the breakthrough sources of financing funds is the use of sharia bonds or what is known as Sukuk. Infrastructure financing through the issuance of Sukuk has been implemented since 2010 with the Project-Based Sukuk (PBS) series. The Indonesian Hajj Fund Sukuk (SDHI), Retail Sukuk (SR), and Project Base Sukuk (PBS) are three of the parts contained in the Sukuk. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the development of SDHI, SR, and PBS in financing infrastructure development in Indonesia. By looking at the level of the problem of public goods or can be called public facilities owned by the State.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the number mid-industrial and investment to the labor of mid-industrial in Surabaya during the period 2017-2019. This study used panel data regression with common effect method (CEM). The data used in this research is secondary data. The variables dependent used in this study is the number of labor in Surabaya, while the independent variable are number mid-industrial and investment mid-industrial of Surabaya. Panel data regression calculation results in this study indicate that a variable number mid-industrial and investment simultaneously have a positive influence and significant impact on labor mid-industrial in Surabaya. Partially, variable number mid-industrial and investment have a positive influence and significant impact on labor mid-industrial in Surabaya.

Abstract

Broadly, this research aims to find out how free variables affect Investment, Net Exports and Government Spending on Indonesia's Economic Growth. The type of data used is annual data starting from 2000 to 2019. The methods used are Partial Adjustment Model (PAM), Hypothesis Test and Classic Assumption Test. The results of the classic assumption test show that the normality test in this study meets the assumption of normality, the auto correlation test in this study did not have auto correlation and the heteroscedasticity test in this study avoided heteroscedasticity. Investment Variable has a positive effect on Indonesia's economic growth, Net Export variables have an insignificant positive effect on Indonesia's economic growth and Government Expenditure has a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth. Simultaneously variable Investment, Net Export and Government Expenditure simultaneously affect Indonesia's economic growth with a probability value of 0.0000.
