Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the relationship of leadership roles and entrepreneurial orientation to the performance of SMIs in the City of Kediri, where good management of SMEs can encourage SMEs to compete with other SMIs. The population of this study was all food SMIs in Kediri City, from that population, it was agreed that the judge sampling method would examine 30 SMIs in Kediri City. Data analysis techniques in this study used path analysis. The results showed that the management of SMIs is highly dependent on the role of entrepreneurial leadership, entrepreneurial orientation, and business strategy. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial leadership factors and leadership orientation have a significant positive effect on business performance, while business strategies have not yet influenced business strategies and cannot be a mediating factor in this study.

Abstract

This study examines the causal relationship between endorser's credibility, attitudes towards brands, brand credibility, attitude towards advertising and purchase intention of the smartfren mobile card adopt the celebrity endorsement strategy. Meanwhile, attitudes towards advertising were tested as second-order constructs of the three proposed models. Smartfren recently used Atta Halilintar and Tiara Idol as celebrity endorsers of brand products in every ad serving. Examine whether have a celebrity that the public likes for supporting advertising will improve brand attitude, brand credibility, attitude towards fish, and intention to buy smartfren products. Methodology design conceptual model approach developed based on existing literature. The models are validated through a quantitative approach, analyzed using regression analysis with SEM. Technique sampling in this study using nonprobability sampling with using a snowball sampling approach. This research is a development of Previous research that tested the variables of endorser credibility, attitudes towards the product, brand credibility against purchase intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and investigate the effects of the Chinese automotive product brand on the Indonesian market. Based on the literature relating to the image of the country and the influence of the country of origin, a research model was developed to evaluate the image of the country, the image of the company and the image of the brand. To test models and investigate the influence of country, company and brand image on brand attitudes and purchase intentions, investigate the influence of country, company and brand image on brand attitudes and purchase intentions. State image consists of four dimensions: political image, economic image, citizen image and image of state relations. This research is expected to provide information and theoretical evidence for research on China's image, especially regarding Wuling and DFSK brand products, and also provide empirical evidence to support the "go global" strategy of Chinese companies. Abstract

In the weeks at the start of the pandemic, some news in Indonesia was colored related to the panic buying phenomenon by Indonesians in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Of course, the Indonesian people were quite worried about the pandemic at that time. Starting from the scarcity of masks, hand soap and hand sanitizers at the beginning of the soaring positive cases of Covid-19 to the scarcity of staple goods consumed by everyday people such as sugar and rice, this phenomenon forced the government to impose restrictions on the purchase of staples. Currently, several regulations have been implemented regarding the purchase of basic commodities by the government to minimize hoarding activities of staple goods. This study aims to see the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the emergence of panic buying behavior among the academics of a university in Surabaya. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a total sample of 60 respondents consisting of lecturers, students, and educational staff. The research was conducted from June to July 2020. After conducting a survey, it was found that many academics at X University Surabaya were not affected by the panic buying phenomenon.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of perceived quality through mediating customer satisfaction in the context of brand loyalty to iPhone smartphone users among the Z millennial generation in Surabaya. The first model examines the impact of perceived quality on brand loyalty which is mediated by customer satisfaction; this second model investigates the impact of corporate image on brand loyalty mediated by customer satisfaction; and the final model examines the impact of perceived value on brand loyalty mediated by customer satisfaction. The methodology design of a three conceptual model approach was developed based on the existing literature. These models are validated through a quantitative approach, analyzed using regression analysis with SmartPLS. The sampling technique in this study used nonprobability sampling using a purposive sampling approach. This study is a development of previous studies that tested customer satisfaction variables as a mediator of brand loyalty. It is hoped that this research can contribute to literature by becoming additional research that studies the mediating effects of customer satisfaction on company image, perceived value, and perceived quality, as well as examining their relationship with brand loyalty in the context of Iphone brand smartphone products in the Z millennial generation in Surabaya.

Abstract

Salah satu sektor ekonomi yang sangat penting di Indonesia adalah Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah atau biasa disebut (UMKM). Pada tahun 2022 menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), terdapat sekitar 64 juta unit UMKM di Indonesia, yang menyumbang sekitar 61,1% dari total tenaga kerja nasional dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 60,34% terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) nasional. Meskipun begitu, UMKM di Indonesia masih mengalami berbagai permasalahan yang perlu diatasi untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. UMKM di Indonesia sangat beragam, mulai dari sektor pertanian, perikanan, industri kreatif, hingga jasa. Meskipun demikian, UMKM masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan akses keuangan, kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen, serta persaingan yang semakin ketat. Salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi UMKM di Karangrejo adalah banyak UMKM yang kesulitan dalam menghadapi tantangan dalam hal pemasaran dan branding. Maka dari itu tim pengabdian masyarakat FEBTD UNUSA membantu memberikan pelatihan dan pengerahan tentang bagaimana cara untuk mengembangkan UMKM. Salah satu cara yang dapat membantu UMKM untuk berkembang yaitu branding dan digital marketing produk pada UMKM.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, adopsi teknologi digital telah menjadi kebutuhan bagi UMKM untuk tetap bertahan dan bersaing di pasar yang semakin ketat. Social media marketing - Media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, dan lainnya menjadi tempat yang tepat untuk mempromosikan produk atau jasa. UMKM bisa memanfaatkan platform ini untuk mengiklankan produk, membangun relasi dengan pelanggan, dan berinteraksi dengan pelanggan secara langsung. Dalam era digital saat ini, adopsi teknologi digital telah menjadi kebutuhan bagi UMKM untuk tetap bertahan dan bersaing di pasar yang semakin ketat. Penerapan teknologi digital pada UMKM dapat memberikan banyak keuntungan, seperti meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Selain itu, pengembangan UMKM berbasis digital juga dapat membantu mengatasi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi UMKM, seperti keterbatasan akses modal dan pasar. Namun, pengembangan UMKM berbasis digital juga memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, seperti pemerintah, lembaga keuangan, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Dengan adanya dukungan yang memadai, UMKM dapat mengoptimalkan potensi teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnisnya dan berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Saat ini UMKM di desa Krangrejo, Kediri masih belum bisa memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pengembangan bisnisnya. Maka dari itu pengmas tim FEBTD saat ini yaitu melakukan pendampingan pemanfaatan sosial media sebagai sarana pengembangan dan peningkatan penjualan UMKM

Abstract

This research examines the role of social media marketing, perceived quality, and perceived price in cultivating brand love among Indonesian youth, particularly focusing on local fashion brands. Utilizing a sample size that provides robust statistical significance, the study confirms that social media marketing significantly influences both brand attitude (coefficient of 0.425) and brand trust (coefficient of 0.183). Perceived quality demonstrates a strong impact on brand attitude (coefficient of 0.783) and brand trust (coefficient of 0.724), underscoring the importance of high product standards. Additionally, perceived price is found to be a critical factor, with significant effects on brand attitude (coefficient of 0.894) and brand trust (coefficient of 0.347). The study also highlights the powerful relationship between brand attitude and brand love (coefficient of 0.883), as well as the influence of brand trust on brand love (coefficient of 0.348). These findings suggest that local fashion brands should strategically enhance their social media presence, maintain high product quality, and adopt fair pricing strategies to build strong emotional connections with consumers, thereby fostering brand love and loyalty. Future research should explore cross-industry comparisons, longitudinal impacts, and the role of emerging technologies in further enhancing these relationships

Abstract

Sekolah Islam Al Islah Surabaya, terakreditasi dengan prestasi akademik dan non-akademik yang membanggakan, memiliki fasilitas pendidikan yang lengkap serta lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Namun, di tengah persaingan yang ketat antar lembaga pendidikan, sekolah ini berusaha meningkatkan visibilitas dan daya tariknya di media digital. Saat ini, strategi komunikasi dan pemasaran yang diterapkan masih tradisional dan belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan potensi storytelling marketing untuk membangun brand yang kuat dan menarik. Penggunaan narasi dan cerita dalam pemasaran (storytelling marketing) telah terbukti sebagai salah satu metode pemasaran yang efektif, terutama dalam membangun koneksi emosional dengan audiens. Cerita yang inspiratif dan menyentuh dapat meningkatkan engagement, memperkuat identitas merek, dan akhirnya mendorong keputusan untuk bergabung dengan sekolah. Namun, Sekolah Islam Al Islah Surabaya menghadapi kendala dalam mengembangkan dan menyampaikan cerita yang menarik dan relevan yang dapat menonjolkan keunikan serta nilai-nilai yang diusungnya.

Abstract

Sekolah Islam Al Islah, yang terletak di sebuah komunitas yang dinamis, telah lama berkomitmen untuk menyediakan pendidikan berkualitas tinggi yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan kurikulum nasional. Meskipun telah membuat banyak kemajuan, sekolah menghadapi berbagai risiko yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pendidikan, termasuk risiko terkait dengan pengelolaan sumber daya, penerapan teknologi pendidikan, keamanan siswa, serta kesejahteraan dan pengembangan staf pengajar. Kondisi eksisting menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah menerapkan beberapa strategi manajemen risiko secara informal, namun belum ada sistem manajemen risiko yang terstruktur dan terintegrasi secara keseluruhan. Ini menciptakan kesenjangan dalam kemampuan sekolah untuk secara proaktif mengidentifikasi dan mengelola risiko, yang pada gilirannya dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan sekolah untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan standar kualitas pendidikan.
