Abstract

This research study aims to systematically review a variety of digital technologies that are currently developing so rapidly to be optimally utilized according to the ability of teachers and technological devices owned by schools, teachers, and students. This study uses the method of review of integrative literature. This method combines various empirical and research-based articles, books, and other published literature on digital competencies and their use in 21st century education. The literature research concludes: 1) Digital literacy is the awareness, attitude, and ability of individuals to properly use tools and digital facilities to identify, access, manage, integrate, evaluate, analyze, and synthesize digital resources, build new knowledge, make media expressions, and communicate with others, in the context of certain life situations, to enable constructive social action; 2) Digital competency is a set of knowledge, skills, attitudes needed when using ICT and digital media for various needs; 3) Digital technology that can be used by schools / teachers in the learning process including interactive whiteboards (IWB), software applications, Web 2.0, and social media; and 4) Utilization of digital technology in learning can increase students' interest and motivation in learning, the quality of learning processes, and learning outcomes, but need to pay attention to various aspects of the ability of human resources, security, and health of teachers and students.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyuguhkan alur paradigma baru yang terkait dengan demokrasi, yang selama ini diperdebatkan yakni antara demokrasi dengan hukum. Secara hipotesa ada sesuatu yang paling mendasar dari pada hukum itu sendiri yakni tentang teologi. Dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang begitu pesat, kemajuan sains begitu signifikan, ada hal yang sangat disayangkan yakni kemajuan pada era modern dan kontemporer ini bukan atas prakarsa umat muslim–hal yang tak dapat ditolak keberadaannya–justru kamujuan ini di pelopori oleh orang-orang Barat. Fakta yang mungkin sulit diterima oleh ummat nabi Muhammad Saw, namun itu adalah faktualisasi yang ada pada saat ini. Dari sinilah salah satu faktor yang mendorong Fazlur Rahman dengan semangat intelektualnya, dia sedikit banyak telah ikut berkontribusi bagi Islam maupun dunia, baik  berupa tenaga, kritikan, karya-karya ilmiah dan sebagainya. Neo-modernisme adalah salah satu sumbangan pemikirannya bagi umat Muslim. Dia memberikan stimulus bahwa dalam dunia Islam harus adanya perubahan paradigma berfikir dari yang stagnanisme dan fundamentalisme menuju neo-modernisme dan demokratisme. Dasamping itu hal yang tak kalah pentingnya sumbangan intelektualitasnya adalah pada pembentukan umat Muslim yang bermoralitas sosialis, namun tetap dalam Iman, Islam dan Takwa.

Abstract

Penelitian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mencari solusi terkait dengan upaya meningkatan perhatian siswa khususnya ditingkat awal yaitu kelas 1, 2 dan 3 terhadap tugas belajarnya selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung menggunakan media pembelajaran visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur integratif. Metode ini menggabungkan berbagai artikel berbasis empiris dan penelitian, buku, dan literatur lain yang dipublikasikan tentang penggunaan media visual dalam meningkatkan perhatian belajar siswa kelas awal tersebut. Penelitian literatur ini menyimpulkan: (1) Perhatian adalah proses pemilihan informasi yang dikontrol secara sukarela oleh subjek (sadar), atau dapat karena pengaruh beberapa peristiwa eksternal yang ditangkap indera (tidak sadar); (2) Proses perhatian terjadi melalui seleksi, kesadaran, dan control; (3) Model media visual yang digunakan sebaiknya bervariasi baik media pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh guru maupun media dari internet. Media visual dalam bentuk infografis merupakan model media visual yang paling disarankan; (4) Implikasi dari fungsi media visual terhadap memori penginderaan antara lain: (a) memori pengindera hanya dapat mengolah informasi dalam jumlah terbatas, sehingga media visual yang digunakan untuk menyajikan materi pembelajaran perlu didesain sedemikian sehingga informasi-informasi kunci dapat diterima oleh siswa dengan baik; (b) memori penginderaan yang memiliki daya serap paling tinggi adalah indera penglihatan, sehingga mengkombinasikan sajian informasi visual dapat meningkatkan jumlah informasi yang mampu diterima oleh memori pengindera. AbstractThis literature research aims to find solutions related to efforts to increase the attention of students, especially at the initial level, grades 1, 2 and 3 of their learning tasks during the learning process takes place using visual learning media. This study uses the method of review of integrative literature. This method combines various empirical and research-based articles, books, and other published literature on the use of visual media in increasing the attention of students learning in the early grades. This literature research concludes: (1) Attention is the process of selecting information that is voluntarily controlled by the subject (conscious), or it can be due to the influence of some external events that are sensed (unconscious); (2) The process of attention occurs through selection, awareness, and control; (3) The visual media model used should vary both the learning media made by the teacher and the media from the internet. Visual media in the form of infographics is the most recommended visual media model; (4) The implications of the function of visual media on sensing memory include: (a) memory sensors can only process information in a limited amount, so that the visual media used to present learning material needs to be designed so that key information can be received properly by students; (b) sensing memory that has the highest absorption power is the sense of sight, so combining visual information offerings can increase the amount of information that the sensory memory can receive.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the learning difficulties experienced by a student from the perspective of the Koran. Learning difficulties can be influenced by various factors, ranging from learning styles, learning concentration problems, having unique learning preferences, different learning methods, health problems, lack of student motivation to learn, environmental problems, and emotional problems and interest in learning. Verses originating from the Koran are used as a basis for the analysis. If the learning methods used do not suit a person's learning style, they may have difficulty understanding and retaining information. Therefore, individuals must know their own learning styles to adopt appropriate learning strategies. As a basis for the analysis, verses originating from the Koran are used. This research is library-based with qualitative methods and data sources from journal articles, books, or observations of phenomena occurring in the world of education today.

Abstract

Learning approaches that align with students’ individual characteristics are essential for effective education, particularly within Islamic educational contexts. Abuddin Nata, a prominent Indonesian Islamic education scholar, emphasizes the need to adapt instructional strategies based on student diversity in age, potential (fitrah), and intelligence levels. This study employs qualitative library research using content analysis of primary works by Abuddin Nata and relevant secondary literature. Key themes were identified through systematic documentation and thematic categorization of concepts related to learner characteristics and learning models. Nata identifies three fundamental student characteristics—age, innate potential, and intelligence—as determinants in choosing appropriate learning strategies. He proposes three adaptive approaches: individual learning, group learning, and a blended approach. His framework encourages the integration of Islamic values with student-centered pedagogy, emphasizing the importance of balancing personal development and social responsibility. Comparative analysis reveals parallels with contemporary theories such as Piaget’s cognitive development, Vygotsky’s social constructivism, and Gardner’s multiple intelligences. Nata’s model offers a value-based and context-sensitive perspective on differentiated instruction. While philosophically and pedagogically robust, its empirical implementation remains limited, especially in technology-mediated environments. His approach provides practical insights for educators and curriculum developers in designing inclusive and adaptive Islamic learning environments that respond to learner diversity.
