Abstract

The halal industry has the potential to grow, supported by a gradual implementation of a mandatory halal regulation according to Law No 33 the year 2014 regarding Halal Product Guarantee. To support this program, Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) has encouraged universities to establish Halal Centers since 2019. The goal of this study is to investigate the Halal Center's collaboration strategy with other agencies supporting halal mandatory programs using the Analytical Hierarchy Process approach. This research interviewed 40 food and beverage business owners and experts in 2021. Data analysis is divided into three stages: decomposition, pairwise comparisons, and priority synthesis. The hierarchical structure is comprised of four levels, namely the variables affecting collaboration, the actors involved, the goals, and the cooperation strategy. The results show that capital (0.617) and institutional policy (0.30) affect the growth of Halal Center cooperation. While BPJPH (0.33), the government (0.31), and private institutions (0.12) all contribute to the development of the halal center collaboration. The purpose of developing the halal center collaboration is to help accelerate MSME to obtain halal certification (0.67). While the Cooperation strategy suggests that the use of government assistance funds (0.46), as well as collaboration with private institutions (weight 0.34).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the current condition of the iodized crystal coconut sugar agro-industry business model and to determine the appropriate canvas business model design for the agro-industry to be applied in its business development strategy. The data processing method uses a qualitative approach using SWOT analysis in combining the nine elements of the canvas business model. The results showed that the business model in the iodized crystal coconut sugar agroindustry is currently still being carried out in the old way by maintaining the same market segmentation, with limited marketing, so that it has not been able to maximize its business properly to get a profit so it is necessary to modify the business model. by narrowing its target market, developing production and marketing of its products. Abstract

Some of the objectives of this study were: 1) To analyze the segmentation of iodized crystal coconut palm sugar. 2) To recognize the targeting of iodized crystal coconut pal sugar. 3) To Identify the positioning of Gendis iodized crystal coconut palm sugar products. Data collection was carried out online and offline in Purwokerto, where online questionnaires were distributed in several areas in Central Java and West Java. for four months, namely the period December 2020 - March 2021. The population in this study were consumers of iodized crystal coconut palm sugar and its potential consumers. The sampling method in this study used a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Based on characteristics of the respondents, there are 3 market segments of iodized crystal coconut palm sugar were created. The target market chosen is cluster 2 with the characteristics of respondents aged 41 - 50 years, diploma educational background, housewife profession, and monthly expenses range of Rp.1.500.000 - Rp.3.000.000. Based on the biplot analysis, the results of the perception mapping by respondents that the most attached to the iodized crystal coconut palm sugar were taste, color, and texture.

Abstract

Sasuke (Soy milk extract) is one of the products of a business unit that is run at the Faculty of Vocational Agroindustry, Untag Surabaya. Soy milk extract has many nutritional content including fiber and high protein. These efforts have not yet been carried out by a financial feasibility analysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the financial feasibility of Sasuke's business. This research uses primary data and is quantitative in nature. Then, a financial analysis consisting of the NPV, PBP, and B/C ratio analysis. This research was conducted at the Agroindustry Laboratory of the Vocational Faculty of Untag Surabaya. The results showed that Sasuke's business was feasible. Evidenced by the results of analysis for 10 years resulting in the value of NPV = IDR 103,762,210 (NPV 0), B / C ratio = 1,105 (B / C ratio 1), and capital will return to PBP = 1,049 years = 367 days.

Abstract

Sari buah adalah cairan yang dihasilkan dari pemerasan atau penghancuran buah segar yang telah masak. Proses pengolahan produk sari buah umumnya masih dilakukan secara sederhana yaitu dengan metode ekstraksi osmosis. Ekstraksi dengan metode osmosis merupakan ekstraksi yang dilakukan dengan penambahan sukrosa. Pada metode osmosis, buah-buahan direndam dengan bahan atau sukrosa yang mempunyai tekanan didalam lebih tingggi, sehingga air dari dalam bahan akan keluar kearah media untuk menyeimbangkan tekanan osmosis. Ekstraksi menggunakan gula lalu didiamkan pada suhu rendah yang kemudian terjadi pengeluaran air dari dalam sel buah, sehingga rasa dan aroma yang dihasilkan murni dari buah yang diekstraksi. Dengan menggunakan variasi jumlah proporsi sukrosa dan lama osmosis masing-masing sebesar 1:0.5, 1:0.75, dan 1:1 kemudian lama osmosis yang ditambahkan 12 jam, 24 jam, 36 jam dan 48 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik adalah sari buah naga dengan proporsi buah:sukrosa adalah 1 : 0.5 dan lama osmosis 48 jam. Hasil pengujian untuk kualitas tidak jauh mengalami perbedaan yang signifikan yaitu meliputi pH yang berkisar 3,88 – 4,35, Total Gula 5- 9,73 %brix, dan Total Padatan Terlarut 10 – 10,3 %brix. Abstract

Lettuce is one of the most popular leaf vegetables that has a high economic value. Lettuce can be the potential leaf vegetables to be cultivated hydroponically and can be used as a source of additional income for the family. Therefore, the feasibility study of hydroponic lettuce cultivation of the household scale is needed. This study aims to know the feasibility of hydroponic lettuce cultivation of household scale by using Net Present Value (NPV), the value of Payback Periode (PP), and the B/C ratio. This research was conducted in Grendeng village, North Purwokerto sub-district, Banyumas district from September until December 2019. The results showed that the NPV was Rp. 24,130,112.00; the value of the B/C ratio was 3.51; and PP value was 2 months 28 days, so it can be concluded that the business is feasible to be implemented.

Abstract

Penelitian inidilaksanakan pada UMKM Keripik Tempe Yu Mudah yang terletak di Desa Pliken, Kecamatan Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan evaluasi proyek untuk mengetahui besarnya biaya, penerimaan, analisis finansial (Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Payback Perioed (PBP)), sehingga dapat diketahui layak atau tidak usaha yang sudah dijalankan oleh UKM tersebut.Data yang digunakan adalah data primer hasil wawancara dengan pemilik usaha.Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis biaya, penerimaan, dan analisis finansial(NPV, PI, IRR, dan PBP).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwabiaya investasi yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp. 19.685.000,00 selama umur proyek (10 tahun), biaya tetap dan variabel masing-masing sebesar Rp. 10.693.500,00 dan Rp. 217.175.000 untuk setiap tahunnya. Penerimaan yang diperoleh produsen setiap tahunnya sebesar Rp. 252.000.000,00.Usaha tersebut layak untuk dijalankan.Hal ini dilihat dari nilai NPV sebesar Rp. 164.438.345,00, PI sebesar 1,09, IRR sebesar 123% dan PBP sebesar 10,3 bulan.

Abstract

The stove selection in Tempe chips SMEs is one of the crucial things done in the planning process as an effort to reduce production costs. Especially for SMEs whose more complex production process, namely producing their own tempes. So this study aims to examine the production cost as a break-even point (BEP) analysis of stove type choices as a basis for determining the right stove. This BEP analysis includes manufacturing investment costs, fuel costs, educational costs for technological changes, production quantities and capacity of each stove type. From the research results is known that the production cost by using conventional stove is Rp. 21.53 per unit, but with energy saving stoves only Rp. 14.2 per unit. Because of that, Tempe Yu Mudah Chips is recommended for using energy-efficient stoves in the production process.

Abstract

A biodegradable spoon-fork is environmentally cutlery made from corncob waste. This product is a new beginning in the market to improve corncob waste value and reduce the incidence of plastic waste due to using single-use plastic spoons and forks. Biodegradable spoon-fork as a new product certainly requires an appropriate marketing strategy to accept the product in the market. Based on these problems, this study was due with the objectives of (1) analyzing the segmentation of biodegradable spoon-fork, (2) knowing the target of biodegradable spoon-fork, and (3) identifying the market position of biodegradable spoon-fork. Research data was collected by distributing online and offline questionnaires to 99 research respondents who were consumers of biodegradablespoon-fork. Data collection and analysis were collected for four months, from May to August 2021. The data was analyzed by Cluster Analysis and Biplot Analysis method. The results show three segments formed, where the selected target market is cluster two with the characteristics of respondents aged < 20 years, students/college with an expenditure level of < Rp 500,000. Biplot analysis provides positioning of the number of consumers' interest in buying biodegradable spoon-fork. Therefore cutlery is offered as an environmentally friendly product to reduce plastic cutlery waste.Keywords: biodegradable spoon-fork, positioning, segmentation, targeting

Abstract

Indococo Pacific in carrying out the soy sauce production process needs to implement quality control in order to produce products with good quality. Based on this, this research was conducted with the aim of (1) analyzing product defects in the soy sauce production process and (2) identifying possible causes of problems. The research data is primary data from observations and interviews with management. The data obtained were analyzed using a p control chart and a fishbone diagram. The results showed that the damage occurred due to sluggish product packaging and the level of damage was still within tolerance limits. The damage was caused by factors: human, material, methodology, and the environment.
