Abstract

The study aims to identify students’ learning outcome, teachers’ skills in managing class, along with students’ response towards the implementation of CORE type cooperative learning model. The study employed Action Research using a descriptive statistical approach. The study was conducted through 4 stages: planning, acting, developing, and reflecting. The participants were 30 second-year Junior High School students of PKPU, and the data were elicited through the scores of students’ learning outcomes, observation sheet of teachers’ skills in managing class, and students’ response sheets toward CORE type cooperative learning model. The finding indicated that students’ learning outcomes improve from cycle 1 to cycle 3: in cycle 1, the individual completeness is 37% and the classical completeness is 40%; in cycle 2, the individual completeness is 63% and the classical completeness is 70%; in cycle 3, the individual completeness is 93% and the classical completeness is 90%. Moreover, teachers’ skills in managing the class improve from moderate to a very good category, along with positive responses indicated by the students, where all students show positive responses towards the implementation of CORE type cooperative learning model. It is concluded that the model can significantly improve the students’ learning outcome on integrated science module

Abstract

This study examines the concept of moral education in the thought of Al-Ghazali and its relevance to modern education. The research addresses the problem of integrating traditional Islamic educational values with contemporary pedagogical approaches, particularly in fostering moral and character development. The scope of the study includes an exploration of Al-Ghazali’s foundational principles on moral education, focusing on his works such as Ihya’ Ulum al-Din and Bidayat al-Hidayah, and a critical analysis of their applicability in addressing current educational challenges. The primary aim of this research is to identify key elements of Al-Ghazali's moral education framework and evaluate their compatibility with modern educational paradigms to provide a comprehensive understanding of their potential contribution to contemporary character education. A qualitative research methodology was employed, utilizing a library research approach to collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources. The analysis focused on thematic content and comparative evaluation of traditional and modern educational theories. The study found that Al-Ghazali’s moral education emphasizes holistic development, ethical discipline, and the cultivation of the soul, aligning with modern educational goals of producing individuals with integrity and social responsibility. These findings suggest that integrating Al-Ghazali’s concepts into modern education systems could enhance moral character development and provide a more balanced educational framework.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income and efficiency of the shrimp floss product innovation business based on shrimp waste at Ayakah Ugan MSMEs, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Shrimp waste, which has been considered to have no economic value and has the potential to pollute the environment, is processed into shredded shrimp as an effort to diversify products while reducing and utilizing waste. The method in this study is an experimental method with a case study approach, where researchers conducted a trial of shrimp floss production using shrimp waste as the raw material. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively by calculating production costs, revenues, income, operating profits and business efficiency using the revenue cost ratio (R/C ratio). The results of the analysis show that the shrimp floss processing innovation product has an R/C ratio of 2.68. This value indicates that this business is efficient and feasible to be developed because every expenditure of 1 rupiah can generate income of more than 1 rupiah. The average income per production is Rp. 626,777. Based on the results of the study, the shrimp floss processing innovation product business is proven to be financially feasible and has great potential for further development. This innovation not only provides financial benefits for MSMEs but also supports the principles of a circular economy by utilizing fishery waste into value-added products.

Abstract

Archives are a collection of documents, recordings, or important information that is systematically compiled, stored, and managed for reference, documentation, or records of the past. Archives are used to maintain records of organizations or individuals over a certain period of time. Archives can be divided into several types based on various criteria, including dynamic archives. Dynamic archives are a category of documents or records that continue to undergo changes, updates, or additions over time. This includes documents that are still active and used in the daily operations of an organization or business entity. Dynamic archives refer to a category of documents or records that undergo frequent changes, updates, or additions. Examples of dynamic archives include ongoing correspondence, projects in progress, or monthly financial records. It is important to maintain and manage dynamic archives well, ensuring easy access to necessary information while it is still in active use while maintaining data order and security. Along with time, some documents in a dynamic archive may become static or historical archives when the information is no longer needed in daily operational activities and is moved to long-term storage.
