Abstract

Research with the title: "Control Analysis of Raw Material Availability and Value Added Coffee in Agroindustry" Mahkota "in Ogan Komering Ulu District". This research has the aim of knowing the optimal control of dry bean coffee raw material supplies in the "crown" agro-industry in Ogan Komering Ulu District, and to find out how much value-added from dry bean coffee to ground coffee in "crown" agro-industry in Ogan Komering Ulu District. This study uses a simple random sampling method. The sample used 1 agroindustry of MSME Ground coffee with a total sample of 17 people, 2 main respondents were business owners and 15 workers. With the data analysis method using the added value of the Hayami Method. Research yields were the order level of dry bean coffee raw materials in the Mahkota Coffee Powder Agroindustry is not economical. The raw material requirement for dry bean coffee is 100 kgs per order, while the number of economic orders using the EOQ method is 90.3 kgs and the reorder rate of dry bean coffee raw materials in the Mahkota Coffee Powder Agroindustry is efficient because the ROP value is smaller than the EOQ value Ground coffee products in the crown powder Agroindustry provide positive added value. Processing of dry coffee beans into ground coffee provides an added value of Rp20,900 with a value-added ratio of 45.04%

Abstract

This research is entitled "Gap Analysis of Welfare of Farmers in the Rice Fields in Batu Putih Village, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency". This study aims to determine the factors that occur in the level of disparities in the welfare level of rice field farm workers in Batu Putih Village, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This study uses a simple random sampling method (Simple Random Sampling). Methods of data analysis using Gini ratio and discriminant regression analysis. The results of this study are the factors that influence the disparities in the welfare of rice field farm workers in Batu Putih Village are the income variable (PD) α of 22.7 percent, the education level (TP) α of 0.52 percent, the number of family workers (JKB). α by 13.4 percent and middleman loan (PT) α by 18.6 percent.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to identify the process of land conversion to rubber plants, 2) to calculate farm income after the conversion of rice fields to rubber plants, 3) to analyze the level of closeness of the income relationship of farmers after transferring the function of paddy fields to rubber trees on factors that affect income. This study used case study method, and then the data was analyzed by using the Spearman Rank Correlation. The results showed that 1) identification of the process of changing the function of paddy fields to rubber plants is determined by the rubber price factor which is higher than the price of rice, 2) the average income of farmers who convert rice fields to rubber is higher because of the two commodities being cultivated, namely rice and rubber, 3) the factors of income and amount of rubber production, income and area of rubber land, income and expenditure of farmers, amount of rice production and area of paddy land, amount of rubber production and rubber land area, the amount of rubber production and farmer expenditure, rubber land area and farmer expenditure, age and education of farmer are highly correlated in influencing the income of the conversion of paddy fields to rubber plants.

Abstract

 Analysis of strengthen strategies of food rice security in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency is a bundle strategy to improve food security in dimensions of availability, stability and food access. This research was historical research.It used time series data, during 26 years period. Technique in collecting data used questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis and SWOT matrix. Data presents in tables andpicture, as well as narration to interpret the data.The results of research showes that food security conditions in OKU regency still can meet the needs of rice. Adequacy of food availability, stability and access to food in OKU regency has a surplus of rice along 26 years period. This also shows that OKU regency is able to meet the needs of food rice. The factors that affect food security are (1) the availability of food with a variable land area, production and productivity, (2) stability with variable food consumption, food availability and food access, and (3) access to food that is variable income, the price of rice, the price of corn.Strategies undertaken to improve food security are doing expansion field and farming intensification, applying a single policy basic price of grain, local government policy to apply the regulation about land use, developing of farming with institutional concept, diversifying crops, reducing consumption rice, stabilizing food prices, and improving food reserves. It can be concluded thatstrategy of strengthening food security can be improved by implementing capabilities, minimizing shortage, maximizing opportunities, and overcoming the threats. This study suggest that government should follow the concept of food securitydevelopment and implement the strategy.

Abstract

Ogan Komering Ulu Regency has various types of food crops that can be used as a substitute forrice which is the staple food of its people. These types of food corn, cassava, sweet potatoes andsoybeans. This study aims to determine the potential of food crops in each sub distric in Ogan KomeringUlu district and determinane strategies to support food security. The mrthods used are quantitative andqualitative methods and the analytical methods used are LQ and Descriptive analysis. The data used arefrom 13 sub districts in the desert for 10 years (2010 – 2019). The results of this study are that there are 8sub districts that have the potential to develop corn commodities, 8 cassava sub districts, 9 sweetpotatoes sub districts and 5 soybean sub districts. And the strategy used is to increase food cropproduction, realize food crop agribusiness and improve marketing management.

Abstract

The rice food security strategy for COVID-19 era in OKU Timur Regency. The purpose of research to analyze problems in COVID-19 era pandemic fast and accurate. So set a strategy to overcome the risk of food insecurity in OKU Timur Regency. The research method used historical research method and used time series data from 2010 to 2020. Using a SWOT questionnaire, a list of questions had been compiled to be distributed to 50 respondents. The results of the study found that the rice food security strategy in the COVID-19 era in OKU Timur Regency could be carried out by an IFAS strategy of 3.08 and an EFAS of 3.01 with a grand strategy in quadrant I, namely a concentration strategy through vertical integration. SWOT matrix was generated by SO strategy: construction of food barns, food diversification, and role of BULOG. WO: training of the young generations on modern farming, subsidy for production inputs, and utilization of human resources to process natural resources. ST: government policy to sets the price of rice and production input prices. WT: managing rice supplies, using organic production inputs, socializing entrepreneurship in rice.

Abstract

This study is to analyze regional development by mapping the potential of the plantation sector to increase economic growth in OKU Regency. The purpose of analyzing this research is to determine which districts have the potential for basic plantation crops in OKU district so that the formulation of regional development will be right on target. The research method uses a purposive method which is carried out on purpose. Meanwhile, the research data used secondary data obtained from related agencies. To analyze the data, use the location quotient (LQ) where the mapping was carried out on the time series data from 2017 to 2019. The results of this study provide an overview of the potential of each sub-district that has a sub-sector of the plantation plant base. Mapping the potential of the plantation sector was analyzed using 2 variables, namely planting area and production. In the planting area of LQ> 1, the highest ranking was made with the highest LQ value, namely the highest consecutive ulu ogan, sosoh buay termites, West Baturaja, muara jaya, lubuk raja. Whereas the highest LQ production was Ulu Oggan sub-district, namely 16.64 coconut commodities, 9.50 termite buoys for cocoa, West Baturaja 6.17 palm oil, a field of coffee and pepper, 2.66 and 3.63 and East Baturaja namely 1.74 rubber plants. Abstract

This study aims to see a comparison of rice food price trends during the COVID-19 pandemic on the island of Sumatra. This research was deliberately conducted on the island of Sumatra, which consists of 10 provinces as research samples. The research method uses historical methods that occur today. Using secondary time series data (times series) from monthly report data from March 2020 to February 2021. The data analysis method uses the trend equation with the least squares method. The results of the research study, namely the island of Sumatra with 10 provinces, only the Riau Islands where there was an increase in rice prices of Rp. 150. In three provinces, the price of rice fell by more than 50 percent, namely Riau, Bengkulu and Lampung. Meanwhile, Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra and Bangka Islands experienced price declines. And the trend of rice food prices for the next five years will continue to increase. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the added value and benefits of PT Mitra Alas Agri Serai Wangi Oil in the village of Terusan, Baturaja Timur District, OKU Regency, which has been carried out from April to June 2021. This research was carried out at PT Mitra Alas Agri Oil of Serai Wangi in the village of Terusan. East Baturaja District, OKU Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the business of processing citronella into essential oil at PT Mitra Alas Agri Serai Wangi Oil produces added value in one kilogram of citronella raw materials of Rp. 469.289 /kg means that for every one kilogram of raw materials used citronella gives an additional value of Rp. 469,289 in the production of citronella essential oil with a value added ratio of 41.927% in 2019 while in 2020 the added value generated was Rp. 469.389 /kg with a value added ratio of 41.895%. The profits obtained are 5.123% and 10.473%, respectively. Keyword: value added , profit, lemongrass oil

Abstract

This research was conducted in Cempaka Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency on January 28, 2021. The method used in this study is a case study method, by examining in depth the income of the papany farm guava crystal farming in Cempaka District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. This study aims to analyze the factors of labor income in the cultivation of guava crystal (Psidium Guajava L) Papany Farm (Case Study) in Cempaka District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. The method used in this study is saturated sampling. Saturated sampling method is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. This method is used when the population is relatively small, less than 30 people. The sample in this study is the total number of workers in the Papany Farm guava crystal, totaling 15 people. Factors that affect labor income, namely: length of work and hours of work people have an effect on the income of the keristal guava farm worker, as evidenced by the positive and very significant influence of the variable length of work (0.131) hours of work (0.260) and type of work. There is no positive effect on labor income because the value of the type of work (-0.069) with the F test (comprehensive test) on income. The determination test (R2) of variable income, length of work, hours of work, and type of work is 70.2%, while the remaining 29.8% is influenced by other variables which are not discussed in this study.Keywords: labor factors, crystal guava farming, case studies
