Abstract

Pendidikan anak adalah hal yang sangat penting dan harus diperhatikan oleh setiap orang tua. Anak sebagai investasi terbesar dan generasi penerus yang memerlukan pendidikan optimal dari orang tua. Orang tua adalah pendidik paling utama dan pertama bagi anak. Sehingga, keberhasilan dalam mendidik anak akan sangat dipengaruhi oleh peran orang tua dalam perkembangan pendidikan anak-anaknya. Orang tua bertanggung jawab mengontrol perkembangan pendidikan anaknya. Sehingga Islam menempatkan orang tua berada pada posisi tertinggi karena tanggung jawabnya yang begitu besar dan penuh ketulusan. Oleh karena itu, al-Qur’an dan hadis Nabi Saw memberikan tawaran jitu yang di dalamnya memuat banyak sekali pelajaran penting bagi umat manusia, termasuk di antaranya adalah tentang pendidikan anak oleh orang tua. Kandungan al-Qur’an dan juga hadis Nabi ini setidaknya menjadi solusi yang dapat memotivasi orang tua untuk meningkatkan pendidikan terhadap anaknya secara optimal dengan cara-cara terbaik. Dengan demikian umat Islam akan mempunyai generasi yang unggul dan akan meneruskan perjuangan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis-deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan yang di dalamnya memuat analisa terhadap problematika pendidikan anak, orang tua serta konsep pendidikan anak yang yang terkandung dalam al-Quran dan Hadis Nabi sebagai pedoman hidup manusia sepanjang zaman. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini bisa diambil kesimpulan, bahwa Setiap anak memiliki hak untuk mendapatkan pendidikan. Karena itu, orang tua memiliki kewajiban untuk memberikan pendidikan terhadap anak dengan baik sebagaimana anjuran dalam Alquran dan hadis Nabi.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Madrasahs in strengthening the quality of education at MI (Islamic Elementary School) Miftahul Ulum, Kesambenwetan Village, Driyorejo District. This article uses a qualitative research type with a case study design, taking the research location at MI Miftahul Ulum. Methods of data collection are done by (1) interview (2) observation (3) documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model: namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings show that: 1) Madrasah planning in improving the quality of education at MI Miftahul Ulum through a) Internal environmental analysis b) External environment analysis c) strategy selection, 2) Madrasah implementation in improving the quality of basic education, through, a) Tahfidz class programs, b) superior class program c) Extracurricular program The conclusion obtained is that improving the quality of education begins with the commitment of Madrasahs in improving the quality of education, followed by increasing the resources of teachers and education personnel, and principal management and implementation of strategies to improve quality. The quality applied is, though, a) Tahfidz class program, b) superior class program c) Extracurricular program.

Abstract

The focus of this article is to discuss the implementation of the integration of Islamic religious education and science in learning at the Nahdhatul Ulama Elementary School, Padomas, Jember Regency. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the integration of Islamic Religious Education and Science in learning at SD Nahdhatul Ulama Padomasan, Jember Regency, which is divided into three stages, a) Learning planning is prepared before carrying out learning, identifying basic competencies (KD) and then pouring them into a lesson plan. b) The teacher conducts preliminary activities, then conveys to students what activities will be carried out according to the theme, students are directed to explore and find out for themselves what they are learning. c) Evaluation is carried out after each lesson by providing LKPD, mid-semester evaluation and end-semester evaluation.Keywords: Islamic Religious Education; Integration of Islam and Science; Elementary School. AbstrakFokus artikel ini ialah implementasi integrasi pendidikan agama Islam dan sains dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Nahdhatul Ulama Padomasan Kabupaten Jember. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan study kasus. Sumber data diperoleh dari data primer dan data skunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil  dari penelitian ini adalah Integrasi Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Sains dalam pembelajaran di SD Nahdhatul Ulama Padomasan Kabupaten Jember terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan, a) Perencanaan pembelajaran disusun terlebih dahulu sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran, mengidentifikasi KD kemudian menuangkannya dalam RPP. b) Guru melakukan kegiatan pendahuluan, kemudian menyampaikan ke peserta didik kegiatan apa yang akan dilakukan sesuai dengan tema, peserta didik diarahkan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menemukan sendiri apa yang diepalajari. c) Evaluasi yang dilakukan setiap selesai pembelajaran dengan memberikan LKPD, evaluasi tengah semester dan evaluasi akhir semester. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam; Integrasi Islam dan Sains; Sekoah Dasar.

Abstract

Research on multiple intelligences has been growing for the last three decades, however, the ones on interpersonal intelligence still need more investigation. This case study explored the development of Islamic school learners’ interpersonal intelligence fostered by religious extracurricular activities. It also sought the factors inhibiting the development of intelligence. The participants of the study were a school principal, vice-principal, extracurricular coach, and three teachers and students at a secondary Islamic school. Data were collected through interviews and observation. The data were then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings revealed that joining religious extracurricular helped learners grow the characters of discipline, self-confidence, empathy or caring, politeness, and togetherness. Meanwhile, factors that inhibit the development of students’ interpersonal intelligence were the influence of surrounding people and gadgets (technology).

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain and analyze the Qur'anic learning process and the principal's strategy in developing Qur'anic learning at MTs Sunan Giri in Probolinggo. This article uses a qualitative research type with a case study approach. The research site is at MTs Sunan Giri Probolinggo. The information for this research is the principal of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa, the teacher concerned, and the students. This research was conducted from January to May 2021. The results of this article are: 1) The process of learning the Koran is carried out in learning and extracurricular activities. 2) the strategies carried out by the principal are: The strategy of the principal of MTs Sunan Giri Probolinggo City in developing Al-Qur'an learning in his school there are several roles, namely: 1) the principal acts as an educator (educator), 2) the principal acts as a manager, 3) the principal acts as an administrator, 4) the principal acts as a supervisor, 4) the principal acts as a leader, 5) the principal acts as an innovator, 6) the principal acts as a motivator, 6) the principal acts as an innovator and facilitator.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the management of character education through the development of full-day school management. This article is a literature review by analyzing the content of relevant books and journals. The results of the discussion of this article are that strengthening management in the implementation of full-day school is able to reduce student delinquency because students are guided and supervised in extracurricular activities or intracurricular activities. Families do not need to worry about the full-day school model because students are under supervision in accordance with the applicable strategic management. Good management can strengthen children's character when supported by exemplary methods. The application of full-day school is an alternative solution for the educational revolution to the problems that occur in the era of globalization. In the process of implementing full-day school, it can also strengthen the management of character education in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss planning, organizing, and implementing counseling services for broken home students through the Aswaja approach. This article uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. In this research, data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. In data analysis, the researcher went through the stages of data reduction, presenting the data, and concluding the data. The researcher validated the data obtained using triangulation of techniques and sources. The findings in this research consist of: First, guidance and counseling teachers plan counseling services by making needs analysis, work programs, and activity plans. Second, guidance and counseling teachers organize their activity plans in coordination with the homeroom teacher. The things discussed were the majority of problems that arose in the previous year and the selection of the Aswaja approach as a treatment for the aspirations and input of stakeholders. Third, guidance and counseling teachers carry out counseling services at any time when problems arise, regardless of the schedule of activities made. Fourth, guidance and counseling teachers encounter obstacles in the form of not having special time for counseling services and having to take active lesson hours, while the supporting factors for implementing the Aswaja approach cannot be separated from the support of homeroom teachers and religious teachers.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, a document study, in-depth interviews, and data triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the Non-Formal Education of PKBM Wana Bhakti, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro Regency has successfully implemented a development strategy. The development strategy is carried out on the development of financing, facilities, and infrastructure, as well as the quality of graduates and student achievement. The results of the SPACE analysis result in the position of Strengths Opportunities (aggressive strategy), namely a strategy to take advantage of opportunities by using the strengths of educational institutions. The results of the SWOT analysis that produce alternative strategies are (a) developing Promotional Socialization and MoU of Fostered Villages, (b) developing Institutional infrastructure by accessing educational assistance from both central and local governments (c) developing skills so that it becomes a life skills-based educational institution. While the results of research on the implementation of the stages according to the theory of Pearce and Robinson, and Fred David. Evaluation and supervision are carried out by examining the basis of the strategy, comparing the expected results with actual results, taking corrective actions through supervision, regular meetings, and making reports.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum at the MAS Creative Islamic Elementary School. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This study used purposive sampling, where the sample of this study consisted of principals, vice-principals of the curriculum section, and teachers at SDI Kreatif MAS. Researchers used data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum at SDI Kreatif MAS is said to be feasible and becomes one of the role models in the surrounding area as a school that implements an international curriculum. In stages, the Cambridge curriculum consists of three stages, namely 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, and 3) Evaluation. The advantages of the Cambridge curriculum are that students' thinking styles are much higher than students who only study the national curriculum, while the weakness is that there are still many who do not understand the sentence structure of each English-based reading due to the lack of application of English communication in the student's family environment.
