Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar  dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah (KPM) peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA 5 yang berjumlah 35 orang. Instrumen peneltian menggunakan lembar observasi dan lembar tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah.  Data diolah dengan menggunakan perhitungan statistik dengan mencari nilai rata-rata dan standar deviasi (SD).Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar peserta didik siklus I rata-rata skor sebesar 34 (kategori cukup), siklus II sebesar 41 (kategori baik), dan siklus III sebesar 45 (kategori baik). Hasil rata- rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik siklus I sebesar 72,8 (kategori sedang), meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 79,14 (kategori tinggi), meningkat pada siklus III sebesar 90,11 (kategori tinggi). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan  berbantuan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Penemuan, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) dengan penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) di Program Studi Pendidikan IPA  FKIP  Universitas Bengkulu Tahun 2020 pada mata kuliah IPA-3. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan meningkatkan literasi sains mahasiswa calon guru IPA. Sedangkan tujuan khusus adalah untuk (1) menghasilkan  perangkat pembelajaran dengan Project Based Learning (PjBL) berupa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) yang dilengkapi instrumen tes literasi sains (2) mendeskripsikan peningkatan literasi sains  mahasiswa dengan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (3) mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dengan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Classroom Action Research (penelitian tindakan kelas/PTK) dengan  4 siklus yaitu perencanaan (planning), Tindakan (Acting), observasi (observation), dan refleksi (reflection). Pada tahap perencanaan (planning), dilakukan beberapa kegiatan sebagai perancangan produk awal, yaitu: (1)  pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yaitu (a) RPP (b) bahan ajar (c) LKPD (d) Instrumen tes Literasi Sains.   (2) Validasi ahli (content validity) perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran valid. (a) aktivitas mahasiswa menunjukkan peningkatan yakni dari 3,62 pada siklus I menjadi 3,74 pada siklus II. (b) Literasi sains mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa baik pada 3 aspek literasi sains yaitu aspek konten (53,80%), aspek proses (44,038%) dan aspek konteks (35,088%). Kata Kunci : Model Project Based Learning, Literasi Sains ABSTRACT Classroom Action Research was carried out by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in the Science Education Study Program FKIP Bengkulu University in 2020 in the IPA-3 course. This research generally aimed to improve the science literacy of science teacher student candidates. While the specific objectives were (1) to produce learning tools with Project Based Learning (PjBL) in the form of a learning implementation plan (RPP) and student activity sheets (LKPD) equipped with scientific literacy test instruments (2) to describe the increase in student scientific literacy with Project Based Learning (PjBL). (3) describes an increase in student learning activities with Project Based Learning (PjBL). This research was a Classroom Action Research (classroom action research / CAR) with 4 cycles, namely planning (planning), action (acting), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). At the planning stage, several activities were carried out as the initial product design, namely: (1) developing learning tools, namely (a) RPP (b) teaching materials (c) LKPD (d) Scientific Literacy test instruments. (2) Expert validation (content validity) of learning tools. The results showed that the learning device was valid. Student activity showed an increase, from 3.62 in the first cycle to 3.74 in the second cycle. Student science literacy showed that the average percentage of students' scientific literacy skills was good in 3 aspects of scientific literacy, namely the content aspect (53.80%), the process aspect (44.038%) and the context aspect (35.088%). Keywords : Project Based Learning, Science Literacy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan penalaran dan hasil belajar fisika fluida statis di kelas XI MAN 1 Kepahiang. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperiment dan jenis disain yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control design dengan dua kelas sampel yakni 1 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol. Pengukuran menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik inferensial dan dilanjutkan dengan uji-t dua sampel independen. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan penalaran di MAN 1 Kepahiang, yakni thitung 2,4 > ttabel 2,02, dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan model Problem Solving terhadap hasil belajar fisika di MAN 1 Kepahiang yang ditunjukkan dengan thitung 4,41 > ttabel 2,02. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan penalaran dan hasil belajar fisika fluida statis di kelas XI MAN 1 Kepahiang.Kata Kunci : Problem Solving, Kemampuan Penalaran, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa, keterampilan proses sains siswa (KPS) dan hasil belajar siswa  melalui penerapan model Disecovery Learning. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA 3 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa pada siklus I termasuk dalam kategori cukup, kemudian menjadi baik pada siklus II dan semakin baik pada siklus III. Keterampilan proses sains yang diuji adalah keterampilan mengajukan pertanyaan, merumuskan hipotesis, merencanakan percobaan, menafsirkan dan berkomunikasi. Dari kelima keterampilan yang diuji, persentase peningkatan tertinggi dari siklus ke siklus adalah pada keterampilan merumuskan hipotesis, sedangkan keterampilan yang paling dikuasai siswa adalah pada keterampilan mengajukan pertanyaan. Hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pengetahuan secara keseluruhan terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal dari siklus I sampai siklus III. Pada siklus I diperoleh daya serap siswa sebesar 70,5 % dan ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 63,3 % (belum tuntas), meningkat pada siklus II diperoleh daya serap siswa sebesar 76,5 % dan ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 80 %  (tuntas), dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III diperoleh daya serap siswa sebesar 83,6 % dan ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 100 % (tuntas). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning  dapat meningkatkan keteampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : Discovery Learning, aktivitas belajar, keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to know the effect of using guided inquiry model with scientific approach to science process skill and learning outcomes. The main instrument used in this study is the test. The tests in this study include pretest and posttest. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique class VIII 7 as experimental class and class VIII 9 as control class. The study was conducted from March 1 to March 31. Based on the results of data analysis found there is influence the use of guided inquiry model with scientific approach to science process skill. This can be seen on the score difference before treatment is given after treatment. The average score of each meeting pretest of 24.2 while the average posttest score of each meeting amounted to 62.9 so the difference in average score between posttest with prestest of 38.7. Based on the result of data using t-test two independent samples showed there is significant effect of using guided inquiry model with scientific approach to student learning outcomes. This is shown by thitung 2,444> ttabel 2,004. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence the use of guided inquiry model with scientific approach to science process skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to to determine the influence of discovery learning model with LKS based on the discovery of learning outcomes and skills of science process, and to describe students' interest in class VIII at SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu. This type of research includes Quasi Experiment.The sample was obtained using purposive sampling technique that is class VIII.5 as experiment class and class VIII.4 as control class.. Based on the result of data analysis using T-test of two independent samples indicate that there is significant influence of discovery learning model with LKS based on the discovery of the students' learning result because tcount> ttable (8,16> 2,00), science process skill students tcount> ttable (5,9> 2,0), and students' average learning interest of 35.8 in interest categories and student learning interest for very high, high, low and very low categories of 6.06%, 69, 67%, 18.18%, and 6.06%. So it is concluded that there is an influence of using discovery learning model with LKS based on discovery of learning outcomes, science process skills, and student learning interest.

Abstract

The aims of research are (1) to find the effect of learning with discovery learning model through a scientific approach to students’ learning outcomes, (2) to find the effect of learning to students’ learning interest, and (3) to describe the improvement of students' learning outcomes.This type of research is quasi experiment. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique to determine class XI IPA 2 as experimental class and class XI IPA 1 as control class. The data were analysed by using t-test with two independent samples. The results show that there is significant influence of the use of Discovery Learning model through scientific approach to learning outcomes (tcount 2.64> ttable 1.68) and student learning interest (tcount 3.95 > ttable 1.68). The improvement of students' learning outcome in experimental class is higher than the improvement of the control class learning result (0.68 > 0.64). It is concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of Discovery Learning model through scientific approach to student learning outcomes and to students’ learning interest. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Interests, Discovery Learning Model, Scientific Approach.

Abstract
