Abstract

SD Negeri Purworejo is a primary school with adequate learning facility, such as computer laboratories, projectors, and internet connection. Although teachers, students, and parents have the access and the skills to use information technology, the school facility has not been optimally used. It is assumed that the application of such skills and the use of school facility will improve the learning process and the students’ learning outcomes. In this case, information technology is used to combine a face-to-face learning process and an online learning process, which is known as “blended learning”. The twenty-four teachers of SD Negeri Purworejo did not have prior experience with the blended learning process, although they have the potential to apply it in their class. The solution for this is to hold a workshop on Blended Learning. The materials of the workshop should include blended learning planning, blended learning practical implementation, and information on the supporting materials required in blended learning. The methods used in the workshop are lecture, practicum, and simulation. The outcomes are offline and online lesson plans.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on PKP understanding and supporting theories. This study uses a Likert model questionnaire instrument, observation, and documentation as a method of data collection. The sample is taken from the population, that is, all PAUD students who take PKP courses at UT Semarang UPBJJ in 2018.1 with a quota sampling technique. Test the validity of the instrument using the Product Moment correlation coefficient, and the reliability test using Cronbach Alpha. The results of the study provide the conclusion that there is an influence between intellectual intelligence on the understanding of PFM by 33%, while Emotional intelligence has an influence of 3.3% on the understanding of PFM and Spiritual intelligence gives an influence of 5.6%. When viewed together, the lack of intelligence gives an effect of 12.2% on the understanding of PKP of PGPAUD students in UPBJJ Semarang.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan potensi masyarakat dengan pelatihan pembuatan kuliner berbasis Olahan Singkong (Olasi) dan budidaya jamur di Kelurahan Wonosari, Kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang ini berangkat dari keprihatinan akan kondisi masyarakat di kelurahan Wonosari, Kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang yang sebagian berada pada tingkat ekonomi yang menengah ke bawah dan berprofesi sebagai buruh pabrik. Limitansi kondisi masyarakat adalah keterbatasan lahan untuk dikembangkan, namun memiliki potensi berupa waktu luang dari sebagian warga masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Pelatihan pembuatan kuliner berbasis olahan singkong (Olasi) dan budidaya jamur dirasa tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan masyarakat karena keahlian tersebut dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, cukup mudah untuk diaplikasikan, dan tidak membutuhkan lahan yang luas untuk pengembangannya. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan pembuatan kuliner Olasi dan budidaya jamur dilakukan dengan harapan dapat memberikan keterampilan dan sebagai akibatnya meningkatkan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat Wonosari. Selain budidaya jamur sebagai keterampilan, masyarakat juga dikenalkan dengan berbagai olahan dari bahan baku jamur yang akan meningkatkan daya jual dan daya simpan jamur sebagai produk hasil budidaya jamur. Berbagai produk Olasi dan olahan jamur ini kedepannya akan dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai modal untuk pengembangan destinasi wisata kuliner yang didahului dengan penataan wilayah dan lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop multimedia with whiteboard animation techniques to improve students' ability to develop scientific papers. The research method used is research and development (RD). The research and development steps are based on the four-D model, namely the defining stage (define), the design stage (design), the development stage (develop) and the dissemination stage (disseminate). The subjects in this study were Pokjar Cempaka Pati students consisting of 20 students. Data collection in the field was carried out using questionnaires given to non-basic students at the Faculty of Economics who took Scientific Paper courses. The data is analyzed descriptively, that is, it gives meaning to each data collected, and is presented in the form of percentages and graphs.  The results showed that (1) based on the assessment of whiteboard animation media validators, it was a range of 82.00% - 96.00% of valid categories, (2) Whiteboard animation media is very effective in increasing understanding in student scientific work courses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of providing exercises on improving emotional intelligence in early childhood in Pembina Kaliwungu Kindergarten, Kudus regency with a research sample of 2 early childhood groups of 24 each. The research design used is quasi-experimentation by comparing the experimental group and the control group. Data collection uses observation and deed tests. Meanwhile, the data were analyzed with the t-test, which was previously tested for the normality of the data and the homogeneity of the variant. The results of the study obtained an average in the experimental class before being given treatment of 67.25 and the control group of 57.00. Meanwhile, after being given treatment, a score was obtained in the experimental class of 69.33 greater than the average control class of 57.00. Thus there is a difference in average between the experimental class and the control class. The difference test obtained that the average score of the experimental class has increased. the child achieves completeness of learning compared to the control class.

Abstract

The research objective is multimedia whiteboard animation's impact on understanding and completing the preparation of non-basic education (non-pendas) students' scientific work at UPBJJ UT Semarang. The research objects are 123 non-pendas students taking scientific work courses at UPBJJ UT Semarang, which are explored using a questionnaire. The research used a qualitative analysis of the completion of the preparation of scientific papers using the Whiteboard Animation learning media. The learning process showed the average good and very good answers of 63.41% in the high category, 68.09% in the very high category for content of learning materials, and 60.16% in the high category for the impact of Whiteboard Animation. Overall, students' perception of the Whiteboard Animation-based learning process is very effective, proven by: 1) 85 students (69.10%) uploaded their scientific work before the lecture was over, 2) the average value of students' perceptions for all indicators was high. The limitations are the difficulty of controlling respondents because the experiment was carried out by students online. The factors assessed are only learning media. To determine whether students will pass or fail, it is not the tutor in charge of this course but the students. Even though students have uploaded scientific papers, they cannot determine it.

Abstract

Berbagai kegiatan telah dilakukan Universitas Terbuka (UT) sebagai salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Indonesia agar dapat lebih dikenal dan mempuyai peran penting di masyarakat. Salah satu yang harus dilaksanakan kaitannya dengan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi adalah kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyaraka (PkM). Tim PkM UT Semarang telah melakukan kegiatan di sekitar kantor UT Semarang yaitu di kelurahan Mangkang Wetan. Pemberian pelatihan kepada guru TK/PAUD ini berdasarkan survey/ pengamatan yang kami lakukan pada lembaga PAUD/TK yang ada di sekitar Kantor UT Semarang. Tujuannya agar guru-guru PAUD/TK tersebut dapat menciptakan media/APE sendiri sehingga muncul kreativitasnya demi kemajuan perkembangan pendidikan pada anak usia dini yang memerlukan berbagai media/alat permaianan dalam pembelajarannya. Untuk mengetahui kreativitas dari para guru setelah mengikuti pelatihan, maka tim PkM mengadakan lomba pembuatan APE sederhana bagi masing-masing kelompok dengan mempraktikkan serta mengembangkan apa yang sudah mereka peroleh selama mengikuti pelatihan.

Abstract

Pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika memiliki kepentingan yang lebih sebagai syarat siswa untuk dapat mempelajari materi secara konsisten. Pemecahan masalah matematika ini lalu diuraikan dengan mempresentasikan konsep yang mereka terima dengan meningkatkan aktivitas dalam belajar dan menyelesaikan soal latihan. Group Investigation (GI) sebagai model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada aktivitas dan partisipasi siswa dimana siswa dilibatkan dalam perencanaan. Ethnomatematika sebagai pendekatan yang mengaplikasikan matematika dalam budaya sedangkan augmented reality (AR) sebagai salah satu kemajuan teknologi. Perpaduan Ethnomatematika dan AR menjadi pertimbangan untuk diaplikasikan dalam GI yang nantinya diharapkan dapat melatih pemecahan masalah siswa menjadi lebih baik. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada pembelajaran dengan model GI berbasis ethnomatematika berbantuan AR dapat mencapai KKM dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemecahan masalah matematika antara sebelum dan setelah diterapkan GI Berbasis Ethnomatematika dan Berbantuan AR. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksperimen dengan teknik analisis data paired sample t tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model GI berbasis etnomatematika terhadap pemecahan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Tlogowungu. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model GI berbasis etnomatematika berbantuan AR dapat membantu siswa mencapai KKM.

Abstract

Early child independency spurs creativity improvement. Essentially, independency is caused by educational effort by implementing life – reliability education since early childhood.This quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest design covered learning scenario arrangement to find out the initial condition of children before intervention. Initially, an assessment in the form of behavioral test was done randomly and was observed. Self – reliability learning promotion assisted by media and the already prepared real activity through various games which were designed by the researcher and teachers. The subjects consisted of B group students taken by total sampling. It was all population taken into sample, consisting of 26 children. The data collection was done by using two collecting instruments: observation and documentation. Before being tested to the respondent, the data was tested to ensure the reliability of the instruments’ functions as well as to check the validity and reliability of the instrument. The data were analyzed statistically by comparative test. The findings showed there was difference of the creativity improvements between pre and post intervention and observation during learning process. There was strong relationship between pre and post training and observation which influenced life – reliability to improve creativity.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Nasional ini merupakan tahun kedua, dimana tahun pertama telah dilaksanakan dengan berhasil. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebelumnya mengangkat tema pengembangan Kampung Tematik yang merupakan salah satu inovasi untuk mengatasi permasalahan pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar utamanya pada peningkatan kualitas lingkungan rumah tinggal warga miskin dan prasarana dasar permukiman. Kampung Tematik merupakan titik sasaran dari sebagian wilayah Kelurahan yang dilakukan perbaikan dengan memperhatikan beberapa hal sebagai berikut: mengubah lokasi kumuh menjadi tidak kumuh/peningkatan/perbaikan kondisi lingkungan, peningkatan penghijauan wilayah yang intensif, pelibatan partisipasi masyarakat secara aktif, mengangkat potensi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat setempat (pemberdayaan). Tim mengusulkan kelanjutannya dengan mengangkat tema Pengembangan destinasi wisata kuliner berbasis Olahan singkong. Pengembangan kampung tematik dan wisata kuliner Olasi di kelurahan Wonosari Kota Semarang ini, bertujuan membantu masyarakat mengangkat potensi lokal yang berbasis olahan singkong (OLASI). Masyarakat mitra khususnya RT 02 RW 06 telah memilki kegiatan dengan mengangkat olahan singkong sebagai makanan yang bernilai jual. Dengan kegiatan PkM nasional ini tim memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan harapan meningkatkan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Wonosari, dengan mempersiapkan menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata kuliner.
