Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' learning motivation in learning physics during the covid-19 pandemic and to identify students' critical thinking skills in physics lessons during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is descriptive research. Descriptive research is a research method that describes the characteristics of the population or phenomenon being studied. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale of five addressed to students of class XI MIPA 1 & XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. The results of this study indicate that the students' motivation to learn physics in grades XI MIPA 1 & XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi on the intrinsic motivation dimension comes from indicators of high learning activity tends to be quite good criteria with a percentage of 61% and on the extrinsic motivation dimension comes from indicators of presence information from teachers tends to be very good with a percentage of 59%. The results of the student's critical thinking ability test obtained by testing student learning outcomes from several test questions in this study showed that 76.3% of students had critical thinking skills in the very high category, 20.3% of students had critical thinking skills in high category, and 3.4% of students have critical thinking skills in the medium category. Abstract

This public service aims to disseminate activity in writing scientific articles to develop the theoretical scientific capacities, to train skill of science teachers for popular sciencewriting in an efficient and effective way to gain recognition as a professional teacher (c)The creation of a post made by a teacher who can be recognized scientifically and beaccountable. The public service is implemented in the Junior High School 15, City ofBengkulu. Participants consist of all teachers of Mathematics and Science, the principaland all vice principals. The method forms of this public service are (1) Dissemination ofarticle writing (technical writing scientific articles, non-research article writing, articlewriting national, international article writing), (2) Training in writing research article.The result shows that the teachers begin to understand and know how to write a researcharticle, and able to make the article from the results of studies that have been done.Keyword: teachers, training, mentoring, scientific articles

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk dan persepsi peserta didik. Model pengembangan yang digunakan merujuk pada ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation) yang mana pada penelitian ini dilaksanakan hanya pada tahap development yaitu validasi produk e-LKPD yang terdiri dari validasi ahli materi dan validasi ahli media dan persepsi peserta didik.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Kota Bengkulu, SMAN 4 Kota Bengkulu, dan SMAN 9 Kota Bengkulu. Objek penelitian ini adalah e-LKPD berbasis kontekstual berbantuan Livewoksheet untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis. Subjek uji validasi yaitu 2 dosen ahli dan 3 guru fisika sedangkan subjek uji persepsi yaitu 70 orang peserta didik dari ketiga sekolah yang diteliti. Data penelitian didapatkan dari hasil observasi sekolah, wawancara guru dan peserta didik, angket kebutuhan, validasi ahli dan persepsi peserta didik yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi produk yaitu dari hasil validasi ahli materi didapatkan persentase rata-rata 94% dengan kategori sangat layak dan validasi ahli media dengan persentase rata-rata 92% dengan kategori sangat layak sedangkan hasil persepsi peserta didik diperoleh hasil persentase rata-rata 81% dengan kategori sangat baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan dari uji kelayakan e-LKPD berbasis kontekstual berbantuan Liveworksheet sangat layak dan sangat baik untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi gerak parabola. This research is research and development (R&D) to know the feasibility of the product and students' perceptions. The development model used refers to ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), which in this study was carried out only at the development stage, namely the validation of the e-LKPD product, which consisted of validation of material experts and validation of media experts and student perceptions. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Bengkulu City, SMAN 4 Bengkulu City, and SMAN 9 Bengkulu City. The object of this research is contextual-based e-LKPD assisted by live worksheets to practice critical thinking skills. The validation test subjects were two expert lecturers and three physics teachers, and the perception test subjects were 70 students from the three schools studied. The research data was obtained from the results of school observations, teacher and student interviews, needs questionnaires, expert validation, and student perceptions which were then analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively. Based on the results of product validation, namely from the results of material expert validation, an average percentage of 94% was obtained in the very feasible category and media expert validation with an average percentage of 92% in the very feasible category. At the same time, the results of student perceptions obtained an average percentage of 81% with a very good category. At the same time, the results of student perceptions obtained an average percentage of 81% with a very good category. So it can be concluded from the contextual-based e-LKPD feasibility test assisted by Liveworksheet that it is very feasible and very good for training critical thinking skills in parabolic motion material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of science process skills, learning activities and cognitive learning outcomes of students by applying a model of Guided Inquiry based on Constructivism Approach to the concept of Light in class VIII.1 SMPN 4 Kota Bengkulu. This research was conducted in four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that students' science skill score included observation indicator 63,8 (cycle I), 80,9 (cycle II), 82,1 (cycle III), 86,4 (cycle IV), indicator formulated hypothesis 44,8 (Cycle I), 60.3 (cycle II), 61.4 (cycle III), 78.6 (cycle IV), classification indicator 84 (cycle I), 89.2 (cycle II), 96, 2 (cycle III), 100 (cycle IV), interpreting indicators of 65.5 (cycle I), 67.6 (cycle II), 71.4 (cycle III), 77.1 (cycle IV), and communicator indicator Of 46.6 (cycle I), 63.5 (cycle II), 81.7 (cycle III), 90.9 (cycle IV). Student learning activity with cycle I average score 29,5 (enough), cycle II 32 (good), cycle III 34 (good) and cycle IV 37 (good). The results of cognitive learning obtained the average grade grade cognitive and classic learning completeness in the first cycle of 68.4 (enough) and 55.2% (unfinished), cycle II 79.5 (good) and 70.6% (not yet Thoroughly), cycle III 83 (good) and 77,1% (complete), cycle IV 85,4 (good) and 85,7% (complete). Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of Guided Inquiry Model Based on Constructivism Approach can improve the skill of science process, learning activity and student cognitive learning result.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the activity, scientific attitude and student cognitive learning outcomes. Subjects in this research were all students of class X MIPA3 which amounted to 31 students. This research was conducted in four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this research indicate that student learning activity on cycle I with average score of 21 (enough category), increased in cycle II to 24.5 (good category), increased in cycle III to 26.5 (good category) and increased again on IV cycle to 28 (good category). Scientific students' attitude score in cycle I is 3.91; Increased in cycle II to 4.02; Increased in cycle III to 4.20 and increased again in IV cycle to 4.36. The students' cognitive learning outcomes for the first cycle obtained an average of 72.87 with a classical learning completeness of 74.19%, increased in cycle II to 75.97 with 87.1% classical learning completeness, increased in cycle III to 79.58 with 93.55% classical learning completeness and increased again in the IV cycle to 89.68 with 100% complete classical learning. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of discovery learning model increases the activity, scientific attitude and student cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to determine the increase oflearning activities, learning outcomes and problem solving skills of students. Subjects in this research were all students of class VII.b which amounted to 23 students. This research was conducted in four steps: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The results of this research indicate that student learning activity in first cycle I with average score of 25,5 (enough category), increased in cycle II to 27,5 (good category), increased in cycle III to 29,5 (good category) and increased returns tocycle IV to 32 (good category). The students' cognitive learning outcomes for the first cycle obtained an average of 62,72, increased in cycle II to 73, increased in cycle III to 78 and increased again in the cycle IV  to 81,98. students average value in cycle I is 62,20; Increased in cycle II to 72,46; Increased in cycle III to 85,50 and increased again in IV cycle to 90,94. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of problem based learning model can increase the learning activities, learning outcomes and problem solving skills of students.

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research conducted in four cycles aims to describe the increase of student learning activities, student learning motivation and student learning outcomes on business and energy concepts. Subjects in this study were students of class X IPA 1 which amounted to 29 people consisting of 14 male students and 15 female students. Results of student activity on cycle I with average score of 20 in active enough category, cycle II of 23 in active enough category, cycle III of 28 in active category, and IV cycle of 29,5 in active category. The result of questionnaire of students' learning motivation in cycle I with average score of 44,48 in medium category, cycle II equal to 51,74 in medium category, cycle III equal to 57,31 in high category, IV cycle equal to 63,86 in high category. Students' learning outcomes of knowledge aspects in the first cycle obtained 70,86% absorption and learning completeness of 37,93% (not completed), cycle II obtained 76,72% absorption and learning completeness of 79,31% (thorough), cycle III absorption of 82,24% And learning completeness 89,66% (complete) and cycle IV absorption of 93,97% and complete learning 100% (thorough). Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of scientific approach through Problem Solving model can improve student learning activities, student learning motivation and student learning outcomes.Keywords: Scientific Approach, Problem Solving Model, Student Learning Activity, Student Learning Motivation and Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the feasibility of android-based interactive learning media with an ethnophysical approach, describe the increase in students understanding of concepts, and describe students responses to android-based interactive learning media with an ethnophysical approach. The study was conducted in class XI C at SMAN 6 Bengkulu City in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is Research and Development using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Interviews, observations, and questionnaires were used in the study to collect data. Based on the product validity test, an average total validation of 80.20% was obtained, which met the criteria for being very suitable. The results of student responses through the response questionnaire to the media obtained an average score of 82.90%, with a very good category. The results of the N-Gain value through the pretest and posttest tests obtained a score of 0.68, which is included in the moderate classification. It can be concluded that developing android-based interactive learning media with an ethnophysical approach to parabolic motion material received a very good response.

Abstract

In modern education, teachers act as facilitators who encourage students to learn actively and independently, in line with the demands of 21st century skills such as critical thinking.The study's objectives were to: 1) evaluate how the PBL model with the TaRL approach affected the physics students' critical thinking abilities, 2) ascertain how much the students' critical thinking abilities had improved, and 3) describe how the PBL model with the TaRL approach can improve the critical thinking abilities of physics students. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was used in the study. Two eleventh-grade classes made up the sample: class XI E, which was the control group and used traditional teaching techniques, and class XI D, which was the experimental group and used the PBL model with the TaRL approach. With an average posttest score of 82.68, the experimental group outperformed the control group, which had an average score of 73.26. With a t-test significance value less than 0.001, the results showed a significant difference between the two groups. With an average N-gain score of 0.60 and a Cohen's d value of 1.15, this difference is categorized as substantial with a moderate effect size.

Abstract

Physics lessons are among the most interesting because they relate to actual events. Physics learning requires an independent learning process that equips students with problem-solving skills. This study examines how the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model and the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) strategy affect the resolution of physics issues involving momentum and impulse topics. There are 375 grade XI students participating in a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The TaRL technique and the PBL model had a substantial impact on physics problem-solving; there is a significant influence on students' problem-solving abilities and the magnitude of the influence, according to the results of the independent sample t-test, which had a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.001, which is less than 0.05. Cohen's d = 1.08 (high) and the N-gain score was 0.61 (moderate) for the TaRL method and PBL model, respectively.
