Abstract

The rapid advances in information technology (IT) provide ease in accessing and presenting information in various forms and media, in general (books, brochures, magazines, tabloids and posters), as well as in electronic or digital format (internet, film, cd-interactive And games). With the availability of many presentations the results of research data can be presented with more interesting and easy to use then the results data is used, such as contains elements of information This media is a promotion video about Ranu Tourism in object Probolinggo District-East Java. The video provides info on Ranu tourism in Probolinggo District-East Java. This promotional media will be presented in the form of promotion videos and information that will make it easier for tourists to know about WIsata Ranu in Probolinggo-East Java regency it aims to captivate the attractiveness of the tourists both local and foreign tourists to come and know the have tour Probolinggo. MPEG (MotionPicture Expert Group) was chosen because it has several adventages, Including MPEG is an international standard for digital audio and video format, typically used for VCD and DVD. In creating a video as an attractive media campaign, the media is created with elements such as videography, storyline, storyboard, and audio concepts. Software support in the post-production stage is Adobe After Effect to create an opening, Adobe Photoshop to design information, and Adobe Premiere Pro is used for video editing process. From the results of the respondents, the percentage value of the community responded well to the resulting product, so that the final study of 97% said that this video attracted their attention and deserved to be the Promotion Media Ranu Tourism object in Probolinggo District.

Abstract

Visual identity plays a crucial role in shaping the image of a product, including in the local culinary industry. However, studies on how visual elements reinforce cultural identity in culinary branding remain limited. This study aims to analyze the visual identity of Kupat Tahu Magelang from the perspectives of communication, aesthetics, and information content in establishing a distinctive regional culinary identity. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as direct observation, semi-structured interviews with business owners, and a literature review on branding and visual aesthetics. The findings indicate that the visual identity of Kupat Tahu Magelang, dominated by bold typography and striking colors, effectively captures audience attention. However, the design lacks representation of Magelang’s local cultural elements. Therefore, integrating culturally inspired visual elements, such as traditional batik motifs or culinary icons, is necessary to enhance emotional appeal and product uniqueness. This study recommends a more culture-based design strategy to strengthen the competitive advantage of Kupat Tahu Magelang in both local and national markets.

Abstract

Background: Pelestarian cagar budaya dilakukan agar meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat khususnya yang ingin belajar atau memahami tentang cagar budaya. Salah satu pelestarian cagar budaya yang dilakukan yaitu adanya fasilitas penunjang sarana informasi dan komunikasi bagi para peneliti. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat sign system guna meningkatkan informasi visual pada situs cagar budaya Watu Gong Tlogomas. Metode: Kegiatan ini bekerja sama dengan pengelola situs cagar budaya Watu Gong Tlogomas. Metode yang digunakan adalah design thinking, dimulai dari tahapan memahami permasalahan, menentukan permasalahan, perancangan konsep solusi, pembuatan karya lalu pengujian. Hasil: Media utama yang dirancang dan dibuat adalah Sign system di kawasan watu gong yang terdiri dari identification sign, directional sign, information sign, dan attention sign dengan bentuk GSM (Graphic standard manual). Adapun selain Media sign system sebagai media utama, terdapat beberapa media pendukung (seragam, brosur peta, lanyard, stationary) guna mendukung penguatan informasi visual. Kesimpulan: Perancangan sign system sudah mampu memberikan kemudahan bagi para pengunjung yang ada di kawasan situs Watu Gong maupun luar daerah.

Abstract

FIBA Rules book on 2017 which is a handbook basketball rules. The book explains all the rules in detail starting from basic rules until the rules are common. This book should be used as a tool for the players to know the rules of play in the game of basketball, but in fact this book is only used by the referee as a tool to run a game. This is causing a lot of players when the program will often perform a fundamental error. The fundamental error committed players make a match less healthy due to too many abuses. Photography books made to describe a State of basketball rules published in the book the FIBA Rules 2017. In this final task process designer that needs to be done is to identify data from primary data source and secondary data sources the next step draw a conclusion from the data already obtained. After the conclusion of the finished drawn an answer for a foothold. After the process is done footing the concept design and process design, and then done the digitization phase to the final design.The result of this design is the result of a media education basketball rules. With the design of the book Guide basketball games 2017 Based Photography is expected to give an education to the players in order to produce a quality game.

Abstract

This book also explains about the origin of batik patterns from its region. Batik, which is the authentic traditional clothing of East Java, is losing its existence. Less knowledge about East Java batik makes it more outdated particularly from younger generation. This fashion photography book is expected to be a guide and solution for younger generation appreciating and perceiving fashion style, especially East Java batik. This fashion photography book is made to actively exhibit various kind of East Java batik that making an actual progress day by day. The information about the pattern of the batik is shown in this book, so that the public become more familiar with the origin of East Java batik. Perhaps, this book can increase the public interest to wear the origin batik of East Java.There are two sources of the data taken for this fashion photography book, which are primary and secondary data. The data collected by interviewing several interviewees, observing several books, and using the modification framework plan by Sanyoto. The result of this book design can be used as the media of fashion photography book for public to know more about East Java batik. This book can be used to educate and increase the public awareness and interest to wear the traditional attire specifically, East Java batik.

Abstract

The design of the cadets tailor photobook was made based on Muhammad Hasan's experience in his struggle to participate in the army selection but the results did not match what he had dreamed of since he was a child, but he did not give up there and decided to become an army dress tailor because he felt he was working as an army tailor is still closely related to what he aspires to. Based on this explanation, a cadet tailor photobook was designed with the aim of inspiring prospective army registrants who would take part in the army selection and also as encouragement in undergoing the test stages in the army registration selection. The methodology used in this design uses Drs. Sadjiman Ebdi Sanyoto which has been tailored to the needs of designing a cadet tailor photobook. The results of this design are photobooks as the main media and supporting media in the form of posters, xbanners, pins and also tote bags.

Abstract

This research aims to design a photo book as an introduction to insects around us for children aged 6-12 years. The problem in this design is that there are still many children who do not know about harmful and harmless insects. As an effort to overcome this problem is to make a photo book design. This design aims as an introduction to insects around us. This design uses the method of Platter Design Thinking (2012) as a design reference consisting of (a) empathize, (b) define, (c) ideate, (d) prototype, and (e) test. The final result of this design is a photo book containing introductions such as habitat, food, dangerous and harmless.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of sensory aesthetics in a public space photography exhibition as a form of media art practice that supports the city branding of Malang City. The exhibition was held during the Ngalam Culture Festival at Kampung Skabrom and integrates visual experiences, the environment, and social interactions that engage visitors in creating perceptions of the city's identity. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and visual documentation. The results show that sensory aesthetic experiences involving sight, hearing, and social interactions play a crucial role in strengthening visitors' emotional attachment and connection to the city. The findings reveal four main themes: historical atmosphere, visual sensory aesthetics, community sound, and representation of the city's identity. This research contributes to expanding the theory of city branding based on sensory experiences and emphasizes the importance of public art in creating inclusive and participatory city narratives. The study also provides recommendations for creative city planning that involves public participation through media art in public spaces.
