The purpose of the study is to explain the implementation of Duha prayer and zuhur prayer in the congregation as an effort to discipline students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection technique uses participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. Data was obtained from two PAI teacher informants, student affairs officers, and three student informants. Meanwhile, data analysis using the theory of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana was carried out through three stages, namely data condensation, system display, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the implementation of Duha and zuhur prayer activities at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang has gone well even though there are still some students who need direction or control from picket teachers as well as the limitations of time and place of ablution which cause students to be late or even not participate in congregational prayers.

Abstract

Education dualism cannot be separated from the historical aspects of the colonial era. This policy continues to be debated among academics, particularly with regard to budget policies and the quality of education. This study aims to describe the political implications of education dualism on budget and welfare policies. This research uses a systematic literature review approach comprising four stages: identification, screening, eligibility and conclusions. A total of 626 data items were collected, with 226 items collected from the Scopus database and 226 items from the Google Scholar database. All stages of data collection, screening and reporting were guided by PRISMA. The results showed that the political implications of dualism triggered inequality in the budget and welfare: the budget allocation for religious education was smaller than for general education, which also affected the welfare of educators. Although the government made efforts to equalise, policies between ministries often did not support each other. This research contributes by providing a concrete overview of how the political implications of dualism affect education budget policies and educators' well-being, encouraging the government and stakeholders to implement education system reforms that are more harmonious, efficient and socially just.

Abstract

This study proposes Techno-Humanistic Learning (THL) as a new paradigm of humanistic digital pedagogy in Islamic education. Its main objective is to explore how digital learning can be implemented while maintaining a human-centred approach. Using a systematic literature review of 39 articles from international databases, the study identified three key findings. Firstly, the THL Framework presents an operational map for humanistic digital learning based on Islamic values. This includes the roles of teachers and their pedagogical attitudes, as well as technology integration. Secondly, the THL principles emphasise integrating the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains with 21^(st)-century skills, digital ethics and universal human values. Thirdly, THL Transformation explains the shift in the teacher–student relationship towards greater collaboration and technology-based reflection, as well as the strengthening of digital literacy based on spirituality and morality. This research confirms that THL is not just a concept, but can be applied to digital Islamic education policy in Indonesia, particularly in curriculum development, strengthening teacher competencies, and humanistic digital literacy regulations. Thus, THL contributes to a new direction for Islamic education that is more inclusive, fair, human-oriented and relevant to the challenges of the digital era.
