Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of Islamic Religious Education teachers towards the implementation of the Kurikuulum Merdeka in PAI dan Budi Pekerti learning activities. The method used is the descriptive method. Using a purposive sampling technique, the research sample consisted of 21 Islamic Religious Education teachers and Elementary School Budi Pekerti in Turi District. Data on teacher perceptions were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The data collected was then analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that most of the participants (85.7%) agreed to the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in schools and acknowledged the advantages contained in the Kurikulum Merdeka, but only some (39.5%) of the participants were able to understand and apply the key concepts in learning activities consistently. This is because participants experience difficulties understanding learning outcomes, reducing CP to TP and ATP, as well as difficulties in preparing lesson plans/modules, and assessments based on the Kurikulum Merdeka. Another obstacle is the limited facilities and infrastructure and teachers’ low IT ability. These findings indicate that socialization and training on the Kurikulum Merdeka alone are not enough, but there needs to be a consistent mentoring program for teachers so that they can implement the Kurikulum Merdeka in the teaching and learning process consistently.

This research is descriptive qualitative field research. The research object is MIS in Lamongan, namely 5% of 240 MIS in 11 sub-districts in Lamongan, namely 12 MIS. The data collection technique uses interviews and documentation. The data analysis uses the Matthew B. Milles & Hubberman model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are, first, an online Al Qur'an learning strategy. At the preparation stage, the teacher prepares lesson plans with adjustments to material, time allocation, methods and media. At the implementation stage, some MIS are implemented fully online via social media, WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet and others. Abstract

Tasawwuf, or Islamic mysticism, occupies a prominent place in Islamic studies. Its literature has contributed greatly to the development of Islamic thought, ethics, and education. However, despite the role and impact of the Sufism literature, it is undeniable that the mapping and its relevance to other studies in a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of this work is lacking. To address this gap, it is critical to explore and measure the scientific outcomes, dissemination, and impact of research related to Sufism mapping. In this bibliometric study, a systematic approach is used to analyze a wide range of academic literature. This analysis begins by collecting relevant research articles from the Scopus database, papers from leading academic databases and repositories and then screening with several filters. Furthermore, we used bibliometric techniques, including citation analysis, co-authorship networks, and keyword mapping, to assess trends, patterns, and connections in the Sufism mapping literature. In conclusion, this bibliometric study offers valuable insights into the scientific contribution of Sufism literature which is closely related to other studies, such as spirituality, mental health, politics, and others. By mapping intellectual networks and identifying influential works and authors, this will facilitate future research directions and promote a greater understanding of the historical and contemporary significance of mapping Sufism studies.

Abstract

The early childhood education curriculum in the past few decades has undergone reforms and orientation shifts along with the shift in the orientation of the education curriculum in general. This article aims to analyze the shift in early childhood education curriculum between Indonesia and Turkey by a comparative method. The method used in this study is a systematic literature review review which starts from the process of literature search, screening and feasibility test. The results of this study found that there is a similarity in the shift in the early childhood education curriculum in Indonesia and Turkey, namely the trend of more research on learning methods and assessments than research on learning objectives and content. This is due to a shift in the global trend in the orientation of the educational curriculum in general, namely from content-based-curriculum to outcome-based-curriculum, from forward design to backward design. This finding shows the need for adjustments for educators and stakeholders in early childhood education so that the educational process runs in accordance with the demands of the times

Abstract

The limited availability of empathy measurement instruments that align with Islamic values presents a significant challenge in the education of Islamic Religious Education teacher candidates in Indonesia. This study aims to develop and validate the Basic Empathy Scale - Islamic Theology, a modified version of the Basic Empathy Scale, designed to measure empathy based on Islamic values such as compassion, sincerity, tolerance, and mutual assistance. Employing a quantitative approach with an instrument development design, this research involved 211 respondents. The results of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis indicated a reasonably good model fit, with a Chi-Square (χ²) value of 384.623 (df = 132), p < 0.001, CFI = 0.829, TLI = 0.802, and RMSEA = 0.095, suggesting that the model is acceptable, though not perfect. The reliability coefficients-Cronbach's Alpha (α) = 0.809 and Omega (ω) = 0.816-demonstrate excellent internal consistency. The BES-IT was found to be a valid and reliable instrument for measuring empathy based on Islamic values. Its implication lies in supporting the development of the social-spiritual character of Islamic Religious Education teacher candidates and enhancing the contextual and responsive quality of religious education.

Abstract

The problem of violence and bullying in the educational environment, especially madrasas, is still a serious challenge that has an impact on the comfort and safety of students. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of synergy between parents and madrassas in preventing violence with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Through mentoring at MI Qomarul Wathon Lamongan, this research involves problem mapping, the preparation of anti-violence SOPs, education for students and parents, and the implementation of parenting programs as a form of strategic collaboration. The study's results demonstrate that a strong and structured partnership can create a safe learning environment, increase awareness of the dangers of violence, and cultivate an empathetic and moral character in children. These findings confirm that the synergy between parents and madrassas is crucial in building a violence-free generation and can serve as a model for replication in other madrassas.

Abstract

This study proposes Techno-Humanistic Learning (THL) as a new paradigm of humanistic digital pedagogy in Islamic education. Its main objective is to explore how digital learning can be implemented while maintaining a human-centred approach. Using a systematic literature review of 39 articles from international databases, the study identified three key findings. Firstly, the THL Framework presents an operational map for humanistic digital learning based on Islamic values. This includes the roles of teachers and their pedagogical attitudes, as well as technology integration. Secondly, the THL principles emphasise integrating the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains with 21^(st)-century skills, digital ethics and universal human values. Thirdly, THL Transformation explains the shift in the teacher–student relationship towards greater collaboration and technology-based reflection, as well as the strengthening of digital literacy based on spirituality and morality. This research confirms that THL is not just a concept, but can be applied to digital Islamic education policy in Indonesia, particularly in curriculum development, strengthening teacher competencies, and humanistic digital literacy regulations. Thus, THL contributes to a new direction for Islamic education that is more inclusive, fair, human-oriented and relevant to the challenges of the digital era.
