Abstract

Abstrak: Pernikahan dini masih menjadi masalah yang cukup pelik di masyarakat dan dunia pendidikan, terlebih ketika kegiatan pembelajaran terjeda karena merebaknya pandemi Covid-19. Meski tidak terjadi lonjakan tajam, tetapi peningkatan jumlah pernikahan anak usia dini merupakan indikasi bahwa kasus ini masih menjadi polemik yang cukup sulit ditekan. Menjadi sedikit lebih sulit ditangani di Pulau Lombok, karena berbenturan dengan adat istiadat yang berlaku di tengah masyarakat. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk membantu pemerintah Desa Perina Kecamatan Jonggat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah menyusun dan membuat awiq-awiq dise sebagai salah satu upaya menekan angka pernikahan dini. Kegiatan dalam bentuk pendampingan langsung dengan mitra strategis pemerintah Desa Perina beserta perwakilan berbagai elemen masyarakat yang berjumlah 35 orang. Hasil akhir pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah tersusunnya awiq-awiq dise tentang Pencegahan Pernikahan Dini di Desa Perina. Abstract:  Early marriage is still a fairly complicated problem in society and the world of education, especially when learning activities are paused due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although there was no sharp rising, the increase in the number of early child marriages is an indication that this case is still a polemic that is quite difficult to be pressed. It becomes a little more difficult to solve on the island of Lombok, because it crash with the existing customs in the community. The community service carried out aims to help the Perina village government, Jonggat district, Central Lombok regency, compose and make awiq-awiq dise (local law) as an effort to reduce the number of early marriages. Activities in the form of direct assistance with strategic partners of the Perina village government along with representatives of various elements of society, totaling 35 people. The final result of this community service is the compilation of awiq-awiq dise dissemination on the Prevention of Early Marriage in Perina Village.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan sangat banyak sekali siswa yang mengalami kurang percayaan diri, hal ini dapat membuat siswa menjadi menutup diri karena merasa tidak mempunyai kemampuan atau kelebihan. Kepercayaan diri ini juga dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya kesadaran diri pada siswa, karena siswa tidak menyadari potensi serta kemampuan yang dimilikinya sehingga membuat siswa merasa tidak mempunyai kemampuan atau tidak percaya pada dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Antara Kesadaran Diri Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Kayangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunkan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan rumus koefisien korelasi product moment. Subjek penelitan berjumlah 53 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kesadaran diri dengan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Kayangan.

Abstract

Permasalahan yaitu kurangnya pemahaman diri dan kemandirian belajar sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran siswa sering tidak percaya diri terhadap potensi diri. Kemandirian belajar dapat ditingkatkan melalui kepercayaan diri maupun kemampuan diri siswa sehingga tercipta kondisi belajar yang kondusif. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman diri dengan kemandirian belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP negeri 11 mataram. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 168 siswa. Teknik penentuan sampel yaitu propotional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket sebagai data primer. Sedangkan, observasi dan studi dokumentasi sebagai data sekunder. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis data rxy hitung sebesar 0,484 dengan nilai r tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan (N=68) dibulatkan menjadi 70 sebesar 0,235 dengan demikian nilai rxy hitung lebih besar dari nilai r tabel (0,484>0,235) sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara pemahaman diri dengan kemandirian belaljar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Mataram, serta dinyatakan signifikan.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities for early childhood students currently do not support increasing the character values of graduates, and the emphasis is still on learning whose output leads to competency according to standards. Using character-charged maritime textbooks is a solution to assist teachers in facilitating the application of character values in marine learning. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the impact of character-focused marine textbooks on students’ moral development. The method of research is quasi-experimental, with a pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique is convenience sampling. Two classes use the method, B1 for experimental purposes (with 80 students) and B2 for comparison (with 80 students). Independent T-tests were used in data analysis to compare differences in students’ average scores in the experimental and control groups before the intervention. N-Gain was used to compare the character growth of control and intervention students. The study’s findings indicate that students’ character values significantly influence adoption of morally edifying maritime textbooks. This shows increased student character values, namely responsibility, honesty, discipline, love and affection, caring, courage, independence, and hard work, after being taught using character-charged maritime textbooks. Thus, it can be concluded that character-charged maritime textbooks can significantly increase students’ character values.

Abstract

The level of education in Indonesia is still dominated by low-educated people. There are various factors that cause children in Indonesia not to have a good education, namely the low quality of physical facilities. Learning in kindergarten can be developed using various methods, one of which is the storytelling method. Fairy tales are simple stories that don't really happen. Fairy tales function to convey morals (educate) and also entertain. Storytelling activities will be able to increase children's growth and development and develop various kinds of children's creativity, one of the creativity that can be developed is verbal creativity. Verbal creativity is the ability to form new ideas or thoughts, and combine these ideas into something new based on existing information or elements. So it is felt necessary to carry out storytelling activities to improve children's verbal abilities. The method used in current service activities is in the form of direct practice in the form of storytelling activities using various media such as picture books, hand puppets, the use of vocal techniques and can also bring in storytellers or fairy tale experts, so that the storytelling activities are more interesting. The result of this storytelling activity is that there is an increase in children's verbal abilities after and during the storytelling activity, and for schools it can be an innovation in the learning process.
