Background: Patients with post CVA have difficulties in carrying out their daily activities because of the limited mobility they experience. These obstacles make them need special attention from their family members. In responding to situations like the above, there are several things that are done by the family, one of which is to seek physiotherapy assistance to reduce the level of immobility of the patient. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of families in caring for family members with post CVA. Method: This research method uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The selection of participants used a purposive sampling method with three participants. While data collection used semi-structured interviews and documentation, with data triangulation as a test of validity and analyzed using thematic analysis. The data collection tool used was a list of interview questions and a cell phone as a recorder. Results: The results of the study found 4 themes, namely: (1) Family experience in meeting the needs of the elimination pattern, (2) Family experience in fulfilling the family support, (3) Family experience in fulfilling the pattern of nutrition fulfillment, (4) Family experience in meeting the needs of the sleep pattern. Discussion: the efforts of participants as children and husbands who have family members with Post CVA conditions in parenting are quite good. despite facing various difficulties, family members have their own way of dealing with these difficulties, so that Mrs. J has enthusiasm in dealing with the conditions he is experiencing and progressing in his condition or rehabilitation stage.

Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) sebagai salah satu program yang langsung berhubungan dengan peserta didik sudah dirilis sejak tahun 1976 dan diperkuat tahun 1984 dengan terbitnya SKB 4 Menteri yaitu Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Menteri Agama, Menteri Kesehatan dan Menteri Dalam Negeri yang diperbaharui pada tahun 2003. Program Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah yang dikenal dengan Trias UKS yaitu Pendidikan Kesehatan, Pelayanan Kesehatan dan Pembinaan Lingkungan Sekolah Sehat merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam mewujudkan peserta didik yang sehat dan cerdas. Tujuan program pengabdian ini adalah 1). Membina usaha kesehatan sekolah; 2). Mengembangkan usaha kesehatan sekolah; 3). Meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana usaha kesehatan sekolah. Luaran pengabdian masyarakat anatara lain 1). Masyarakat sekolah menerapkan PHBS; mengenali makanan dengan kandungan bahan kimia berbahaya, menerakan cara mencuci tangan dengan benar; 2). Terbentuk satuan tugas UKS; 3). Tercipta lingkungan belajar masyarakat sekolah yang bersih dan sehat; 4). Pembinaan secara berkelanjutan terhadap PHBS pada masyarakat sekolah; 5). Pendidikan kesehatan dan pelatihan kader Kesehatan Sekolah pendidikan dan pelayanan kesehatan; 6). Tersedianya sarana dan prasarana UKS, seperti UKS kit, informasi media seperti poster, leaflet, lembar balik, dan lain-lain; 7).Tersedianya buku pencatatan dan pelaporan keaktifan dan kunjungan usaha kesehatan sekolah

Acute cardiogenic lung edema is an emergency condition in which fluid accumulates in the lung cavity due to ventricular failure including blood throughout the body. The most fatal consequence of this condition is the disruption of the gas exchange process in the alveoli. One of the characteristic symptoms of this disease is shortness of breath which must be treated immediately so as not to fall into hypoxic or hypoxemic conditions. Therefore writing this paper aims to test the effectiveness of the combination of high-flow nasal cannula and semi-Fowler's position to increase oxygenation in patients with cardiogenic acute pulmonary edema. The research method used is a case report. This research was conducted for 4 days of treatment from 11-15 May 2022 at the Kanjuruhan Regional General Hospital, Malang Regency. After 4 days of action, there was a positive change in the patient's oxygenation. It can be seen from the results of monitoring SpO2 and RR on day 3 of treatment that there was an increase in SpO2 of 93% and a decrease in RR of 18x/minute which was getting better until day 4 of treatment. Problems related to oxygenation in the lungs, acute cardiogenic edema occurs due to accumulation of fluid in the lung cavity Actions that must be taken to continue to meet the need for adequate oxygenation in patients so that a combination of high-flow nasal cannula therapy and semi -Fowler's position is carried out to improve patient oxygenation. The recommendations for giving this therapy are by considering the replacement of the type of mask and the flow of oxygen given.

Keterbatasan bekal sehat dan literasi gizi seimbang bagi anak sekolah pada orangtua masih merupakan tantangan bagi guru, dan orang tua. Permasalahan kesehatan yang sering muncul meliputi obesitas, konsumsi jajanan tidak sehat, serta asupan gula berlebihan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan status gizi anak prasekolah melalui intervensi bekal sehat sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah dengan melakukan implementasi program bekal sehat yang mencakup brainstorming untuk mengidentifikasi masalah, diskusi interaktif guna meningkatkan pemahaman gizi, serta cooking class sebagai pelatihan praktis menyiapkan makanan sehat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman orang tua, dengan dibuktikan dengan adanya perubahan jenis bekal sekolah yang dibawa oleh siswa setelah program ini dijalankan, serta kesadaran guru akan pentingnya screening kesehatan berkala. Partisipasi aktif dan antusiasme peserta terlihat selama seluruh rangkaian kegiatan, termasuk seminar, diskusi, dan sesi praktik. Dampak jangka panjang adalah perbaikan status kesehatan siswa melalui pemenuhan gizi optimal dan implementasi pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin di sekolah. Program ini sekaligus menjadi model intervensi berbasis komunitas yang dapat diadopsi untuk pencegahan masalah gizi anak usia dini.

Tobacco use is still an unresolved welfare problem and is still a big problem in the world. The tendency to smoke will increase a person’s risk of developing respiratory, cardiovascular, and cancer. Adolescents are believed to try new things and copy others’ trends and behavior as part of their development stage. Therefore, they have great potential for smoking behavior in their adult life. This program aims to expand the understanding of adolescents living in orphanages about the dangers of smoking and understanding in planning to be smoke-free. We use an active participation method comprising a two-dimensional, colorful booklet as a learning media to deliver our community program. The result of this program is that participants have a moderate understanding of smoking and its complications in the future.

Hypertension is one of the most prevalent diseases in the family medicine’s services, and if it is not properly managed it can causefatal complication to death, due to heart attacks, strokes, and even kidney failure. Primary data were obtained through anamnesis, physical examination, and home visit follow-up. Secondary data were obtained from patient’s medical record. Patient, Mr. R, 83 years old with grade II hypertension and heart failure NYHA II. Risk factors for this patient are elderly, hypertension, smoking, and poor lifestyle. Physical examination obtained 160/80 mmHg, JVP 5 + 3 cm H2O, an enlarged heart with murmur sound. The patient was given ACE inhibitor, Betablocker, and Diuretics. Education about the disease and the importance of blood pressure control and prevention of complications also had been given. Within 21 days, showed a decrease in blood pressure fotm 160/80 mmHg to 130/80 mmHg. [J Agromed Unila 2014; 1(2):88-91]Keywords: heart failure, hypertension

Education is an important aspect in improving the quality of human resources. Students are expected to play a professional and contributory role in the world of education, including as agents of change. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) launched Kampus Mengajar program which involves students to create interactive and meaningful learning, especially in increasing student literacy and numeracy. SMP Nurul Ummah as a disadvantaged school faces various challenges such as limited teacher human resources, school facilities, internet access and information technology, as well as socio-economic conditions which have an impact on low student learning outcomes. In implementing Kampus Mengajar program there are three implementation phases, namely the pre-assignment phase, assignment phase and post-assignment phase. Overall, the collaborative action plan that was prepared in the pre-assignment phase has been implemented well even though there are several challenges faced. The results of the Kampus Mengajar program show a significant increase in students' literacy and numeracy skills. The application of various learning innovations by students has aroused students' enthusiasm for learning. Thus, Kampus Mengajar program has helped in improving educational standards at SMP Nurul Ummah. Keywords: Transformation; Learning; Kampus Mengajar; Literacy; Numeracy
