Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul metafora dalam Buku “Slilit Sang Kiai” karya Emha Ainun Nadjib merupakan sebuah penelitian yang berfokus pada tuturan yang diisampaikan oleh Emha Ainun Nadjib dalam bukunya yang berjudul “Slilit Sang Kiai”. Rumusan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis dan makna metafora dalam buku “Slilit Sang Kiai”. Jenis metafora antopromorfik merupakan metafora yang memanfaatkan anggota tubuh manusia sebagai suatu alat perbandingan yang akan dibandingkan dengan hewan, tumbuhan dan benda mati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif kualitatif karena dalam penelitian ini peneliti berusaha mendeskripsikan kata-kata yang meliputi jenis dan makna metafora dalam uku “Slilit Sang Kiai” karya Emha Ainun Nadjib. Objek yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini berupa buku yang berjudul “Slilit Sang Kiai” peneliti mengambil data dengan cara membaca buku berulang-ulang. Pengambilan data dilakukan mulai 12 April 2018.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam buku “Slilit Sang Kiai” karya Emha Ainun Nadjib banyak ditemukan jenis metafora antopromorfik metafora antorpomorfik tersebut ditunjukkan dengan temuan data berupa kalimat yang mencoba membandingkan anggota tubuh manusia dengan benda mati, hewan, dan tumbuhan

Abstract

Penelitian dengan peningkatan kompetensi siswa melalui media double “P” dalam pembelajaran blended learning pada materi Bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan pengamatan dan data saat pengumpulan informasi permasalahan dikelas. Media dan variannya berpengaruh pada proses pembelajarannya dengan perkembangan digital, adanya keterbatasan dan kurangnya varian harus diobati dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas. Blended learning selama masa pandemi sangat sesuai dengan stategi dan model pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran menggunakan double “P” yaitu dengan menggabungkan dua media yang digunakan peneliti bookled dan E-Pub dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi karena media yang digunakan menarik dan mudah dipahami. Tujuan penelitian, yaitu meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dan mengidentifikasi efektivitas penerapan proses dan peningkatan kompetensi siswa pada materi Bahasa Indonesia melalui Media Double “P” dalam pembelajaran Blended Learning di Sekolah MI Al Hilal Balongombo. Daya efektivitas yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pengajar dan siswa dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dan peningkatan secara berkala dalam belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model desain Kemist &Taggrad (1988). Subjek penelitian siswa kelas dua dan kelas enam di sekolah MI Al Hilal Balongombo. Teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus 1 ketuntasan belajar naik menjadi 95%. Prosentase ini menjukkan kenaikan sebesar 75% dibanding hasil belajar pada saat pretest. Rata-rata nilai kelas juga meningkat dari 64.75, menjadi 80.5. Siklus 2 ketuntasan belajar naik menjadi 100%. Prosentase ini menunjukan kenaikan sebesar 5% dibanding hasil belajar pada saat siklus 1. Rata-rata nilai kelas juga meningkat dari 80.5 menjadi 86. Kualitas keterampilan siswa dalam melisankan puisi mengalami peningkatan dengan indikator pelafalan, intonasi, dan mimik yang memenuhi aspek penilaian. Melalui media Booklet secara luring dan media E-PUB secara daring dalam mempublikasikan hasil kreativitas siswa dalam melisankan puisi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menyimak siswa disebabkan suasana belajar yang membosankan yakni kurangnya penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran. Media audio merupakan media yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk membangkitkan semangat belajar dan meningkatkan daya simak siswa. Peneliti menggunakan materi cerita rakyat sebagai bahan simak siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni penelitian tindak kelas (PTK). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu : (1) wawancara, (2) tes, (3) observasi, dan (4) angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media audio mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak cerita rakyat siswa kelas V MI Ghozaliyah dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada prasiklus hanya 64,87. Nilai rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan pada tes siklus I menjadi 65,82, hasil tes siklus II meningkat dari 65,82 menjadi 70,34.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya simbolisasi budaya Jawa dalam Novel Darmagandhul karya Ki Kalamwadi, sehingga teks yang ada dalam novel perlu dipahami maksud, tujuan, dan manfaat yang ada dalam novel. Novel Damgandhul menyimpan banyak sekali simbolisme budaya Jawa yang memerlukan difahami lewat kajian Etnosemiotik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai etnik Jawa dalam novel Darmagandhul karya Ki Kalamwadi Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) peneliti menentukan satuan yaitu kata atau kalimat dalam Novel Darmagandhul karya Ki Kalamwadi; (2) melakukan pembacaan secara teliti Novel Darmagandhul karya Ki Kalamwadi; (3) peneliti mengidentifikasi dan mencatat data yang berupa simbol dalam Novel Darmagandhul; (4) mengodifikasi data; (5) mengintepretasi data, analisis data dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teori Etnosemiotik. Hasil penelitian ini, nilai etnik yang ada dalam novel Darmagandhul karya Ki Kalamwadi terdapat beberapa nilai seperti nilai keagamaan dalam kalimat Budi Hawa karena menunjukkan sikap patuh dalam melaksanakan agamanya. Selain itu dalam novel juga ada nilai kepemimpinan, kepahlawananan, keteguhan, dan toleransi.

Abstract

Based on observations made by researchers, it is known that the poetry writing skills of class VIII C students of SMP Negeri 4 Jombang are still less than the KKM score. The lack of students' ability to write poetry is caused by factors from teachers and students. The factor of the teacher is the lack of use of learning media because the teacher only uses the lecture method. Factors from students, namely students find it difficult to determine the theme as an object in developing their inspiration. This study aims to improve poetry writing skills using the Wheel of Name media in class VIII C students of SMP Negeri 4 Jombang. This study uses a model or method of classroom action research (CAR) from Kemmis & Taggart (Arikunto, 2010:137). This research was carried out in two cycles, cycle I and cycle II. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII C of SMP Negeri 4 Jombang as many as 31 students. Data was collected using test and non-test techniques. Non-test data obtained from observations, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The test is in the form of an assessment of writing poetry with the assessment criteria, namely the choice of words/diction, rhyme/rhyme and language style/figurative language according to the theme. The results of this study indicate an increase in the average score of students' poetry writing in each cycle. Judging from the beginning of the activity, the pre-cycle has an average value of 68.70, increased in the first cycle with an average value of 76.12. Then from the average value of the first cycle 76.12 increased in the second cycle with an average value of 85.03. The increase was also marked by the presence of language styles used by students, namely personification, metaphor, hyperbole and sarcasm. Choice of words/diction and rhymes/rhymes that match the theme.

Abstract

Sara Mills tokoh analisis wacana kritis yang titik perhatiannya membahas bagaimana perempuan digambarkan dan dimarginalisasikan dalam teks berita, yang menekankan posisi aktor ditampilkan dalam sebuah teks. Berbagai pemberitaan tentang perempuan menjadi korban pelecehan seksual dapat direpresentasikan dalam sebuah wacana seperti kasus pelecehan seksual terhadap mahasiswi yang terjadi di kota Riau pada bulan November 2021. Tujuan penelitian (1) Mendeskripsikan marginalisasi unsur posisi subjek-objek dalam berita online kasus pelecehan seksual terhadap mahasiswi. (2) Mendeskripsikan marginalisasi unsur posisi penulis-pembaca dalam berita online kasus pelecehan seksual terhadap mahasiswi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif merupakan prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa fenomena terdapat dalam data. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, pembacaan data, pemberian tanda, dan pengkodean data. Analisis data menggunakan tabulasi, deskripsi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menujukkan marginalisasi gender terhadap perempuan pada posisi subjek ditampilkan oleh mahasisiwi sebagai korban dan penulis tribunnews.com. Penulis menghadirkan pembaca dalam penceritaan dengan dua cara yaitu secara langsung pemakaian kata ganti (integral), penyapaan tidak langsung dengan mediasi memahami karakter korban dan kode budaya nilai sosial yang informasi kebenaranya diakui bersama. Marginalisasi gender pada perempuan sebagai korban pelecehan seksual dalam penelitian ini termarginalisasi berupa (Violence) pelecehan fisik, deksriminasi, steoretype tentang wanita terpojok, tertindas lemah dan tidak berdaya, merasa ketakutan, terhina, kegelisahan yang mengakibatkan gangguan psikologis.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the Drill method in improving junior high school students' listening skills, particularly in the context of listening to the news. The focus was on eighth-grade students at MTsN 5 Kuningan. Observations indicated that these students generally exhibited low proficiency in news listening. To address this, the study employed an experimental approach, utilizing a quantitative research method. Data were collected through tests, employing specific research instruments such as test sheets, to evaluate the impact of the Drill method on student learning outcomes. The study involved 23 students, and the data processing techniques included statistical analysis, specifically using t-test tests. This was to determine the significant impact of the Drill method on enhancing students’ news listening skills. Results indicated a positive effect of the Drill method on students' listening abilities. A comparative analysis was conducted between the traditional lecture method and the Drill method. It was found that the Drill method was more effective, as evidenced by a t-count of 366.82, which is significantly higher than the t-table value of 2.015. This suggests that the Drill method, through its practice-oriented approach using audio-visual media, facilitates better understanding and retention of theory and information from news sources, thereby improving news listening skills among junior high school students.

Abstract

This study focuses on the exploration of figurative language or literary devices in the poetry collection Manifesto Koplo by Aditya Ardi N. The aim of this research is to explore the figurative language used in the collection. The method employed is descriptive, with a stylistic approach. The data source consists of 20 poems selected from the 69 poems in Manifesto Koplo. The research procedure includes: (1) carefully reading and understanding the poems; (2) identifying and marking data within the poems used as the research source, supported by data collection instruments; (3) classifying the data that demonstrate the author’s figurative language according to the research focus; (4) analyzing and describing the data based on the research objectives; and (5) drawing conclusions regarding the figurative language found. The findings indicate that the use of language in the poetry collection reflects the author’s creativity, which is meticulous and detailed in every stanza. The uniqueness of the author is evident in the titles of the poems, which are all related to elements surrounding the dangdut koplo music community, such as the names of female singers, musicians, guitars, drummers, flutes, and so on. The 20 poems analyzed contain highly diverse and aesthetically pleasing figurative language that enhances the distinctive style and originality of the author’s thoughts. The figurative language employed in the collection includes simile, personification, hyperbole, metaphor, paradox, and parallelism. Among these, personification is the most dominant. Notably, two poems—Biduanita Ardila Putri and Jaran Goyang—each contain four types of figurative language simultaneously. This demonstrates the variety and richness of figurative expressions that the author utilizes to beautify the poems while reinforcing their uniqueness and originality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values ​​of character education in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata. This research is focused on analyzing the values ​​of religious character education and hard work in the novel Ayah. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The value of character education is an effort made so that a person can grow and live together with other people. The data source for this research is the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata. The data collection technique for this research is document or text study. The data analysis technique for this research is analysis. Checking the validity of findings is a technique of persistence. The results of data analysis show that religious values ​​in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata are expressed by the author in words that show attitudes and behaviors that draw closer to God, are grateful for all that God has given and understand all forms of gifts and are obedient in carrying out the religion they adhere to. Meanwhile, the results of data analysis in the form of the value of hard work are expressed by the author by showing the character trying earnestly in working hard.

Abstract

Personality includes all thoughts, feelings, behavior, consciousness and unconsciousness. Personality guides people to. adapt to the social and physical environment. Psychology behaviorism is a science that studies human personality by controlling emotions in humans. This control is carried out by controlling oneself towards positive things, or making positive decisions for the future as needed. The novel Hati Suhita is one of Khilma Anis's works in which it describes the journey of the meaning of love along with the attachment of faith, expresses social reality clearly about the relationship between two people, the relationship with parents, and the relationship with God and all are attached to the personality of a character so that they still maintain so that love does not turn into a mistake. In this regard, this study will discuss how the main character's stimulus in the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis. Stimulus is a stimulus from outside the individual that is happening to humans and forming a behavior in humans. Stimulus occurs because of several variables that exist in the surrounding environment. The data in this study are a series of paragraphs, sentences, monologues, and dialogues in the novel. Data collection techniques in this study used library research techniques and data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analytic techniques.
