Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of screening results for early detection of toddler age development between denver developmental screening test (DDST) interventions with stimulation, detection and early developmental intervention (SDIDTK). The research design used in this study is to use an experimental Quasy design, pre-post test equivalent without control group design. The results of univariate analysis before DDST intervention were 3 (30%) of the children whose stages of development were abnormal and doubtful and only 4 (40%) of the children were normal developmental stages, after the intervention, which were mostly 7 (70%) children whose stages of development are normal. While the results before SDIDTK intervention were 2 (20%) children whose developmental stages were abnormal and 4 (40%) of those children whose stages of development were normal and doubtful, after the intervention the majority were 7 (70%) children normal developmental stage. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was an increase in the score of developmental stages in the DDST group and in the SDIDTK group with each (t value = -3.096, p value = 0.013) and (t value = -2.703, p value = 0.024). Conclusions of the results of the study there was a significant influence between the scores of the developmental stages in the DDST group and in the SDIDTKI group before and with after the intervention. Quantitative research design using the Quasy Experiment design, two groups of pre-post tests equivalent without control design. The results of univariate analysis with brain gym intervention, from 15 respondents before the brain gym there were 9 children (60%) experienced deviant fine motor skills and after given 11 children therapy (73.3%) experienced normal fine motor skills. Whereas from the 15 respondents before intervening tubuzzle, there were 8 children (53.3%) having deviated fine motor skills and after being given a puzzle 15 respondents (100%) experienced normal fine motor skills. The bivariate results of Wilcoxon test have the effect of brain gym with p-value = 0,000 and puzzle with p-value = 0.001 in the development of fine motor in preschool children. Mann Whitney test results obtained p-value = 0.005. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of blowing superbubbles and blowing bamboo propellers on children's respiratory frequency with pneumonia. The study design was pre-test and post-test two groups. The results of the univariate analysis before the blow therapy were carried out. Super bubbles, the respiratory frequency of all respondents was included in the moderate category, namely 10 (100%) respondents. After the intervention, there was a change to the mild type, namely as many as 3 (30%) respondents. Whereas before the therapy of blowing bamboo propellers, the respiratory frequency of the majority of respondents was included in the medium category, namely as many as 8 (80%) of respondents, and after therapy, the respiration frequency was balanced between the moderate and light types, namely as many as 50% of respondents respectively. The bivariate analysis results showed the effect of blowing superbubbles and blowing bamboo propellers on the respiratory frequency of the children with a p-value of 0.000, and 0.006, respectively. In conclusion, the intervention of blowing superbubbles and blowing propeller affects the respiratory frequency of children with pneumonia.
