Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of combination therapy back massage and slow deep breathing on changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Quantitative study non equivalent control group pretest - posttest design. The results showed that there was a significant difference in blood pressure between the combined intervention group BM and SDB and SDB group (p = 0.000; α = 0.05) on systolic and diastolic blood pressure on the fifth day. In conclusion, the combination technique of BM and SDB is an effective attempt to change blood pressure. Keywords: Back Massage, Hypertension, Slow Deep Breathing

Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan khusus perlu mendapat pendampingan saat mengenal beragam protokol kesehatan untuk mencegah Covid-19. Bagaimana cara mencuci tangan, mengukur suhu tubuh, memakai masker, dan beragam alat lainnya. Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan tim PEMAS didapatkan data : Saat ini sekolah mengatur kegiatan anak SLBN dengan 2 hari (Rabu dan Sabtu) dalam satu minggu untuk bersekolah, sekolah belum pernah mendapatkan informasi dari fasilitas kesehatan setempat   pada tiga bulan terakhir, Begitu juga Puskesmas terdekat. Lalu ada beberapa anak - anak yang berkebutuhan khusus baru diajarkan belajar mandiri secara bertahap, seperti makan sendiri, mencuci  sendiri,  menyapu  sendiri,  dan  lainnya.  Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan 3M dalam upaya beradaptasi pada kebijakan new normal selama pandemi COVID-19. Adapun tahap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan 1) Murid, guru pendamping dan orangtua dijelaskan apa itu langkah 3M, 2) Demonstrasi langkah-langkah 3M yang diikuti Anak ABK, guru pendamping dan orangtua. Hasil dari kegiatan PKMS ini adalah siswa dapat memahami tentang 3M, cuci tangan yang baik dan benar dan cara mendapatkan sumber informasi  yang  benar  tentang  kesehatan. Karena pentingnya dalam menjaga kesehatan di masa pandemi ini diharapkan adanya   peran   aktif   sekolah   untuk   memaksimalkan   anak agar mengadaptasi kebiasaan baru dengan melaksanakan kegiatan 3 M serta menekankan pada siswa untuk tetap patuhi protocol kesehatan ketika berada di sekolah. Abstract

Defisiensi gizi pada ibu hamil dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya infeksi dan infeksi pada kehamilan dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya kekurangan energi kronik (KEK) 7,3 persen ibu hamil mengalami Kekurangan Energi Kronik (KEK). Jumlah ibu hamil pada semester 1 tahun 2023 di Kampung Karadiri sebanyak 35 orang dengan prevalensi KEK Bumil sebesar 14,3%, API (annual paracite index) Kampung Karadiri sebesar 27,37. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku tentang pemberdayaan pangan lokal sebagai PMT ibu hamil, di Kampung Karadiri Distrik Wanggar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pemberdayaan pangan lokal sebagai PMT Ibu Hamil dalam upaya pencegahan stunting di daerah endemik malaria yang dilakukan pada tanggal 15 Agustus 2023 bertempat di Balai Kampung Karadiri dengan responden ibu hamil dan kader sebanyak 38 orang serta melibatkan Institusi Kampung Karadiri dan Puskesmas Karadiri. Uji beda dengan menggunakan analisis Compare Mean Paired Two Test dapat diperoleh hasil rerata perbedaan persen pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah intervensi sebesar 39,73 dengan nilai p < 0,05. Rerata perbedaan persen ketrampilan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi yaitu sebesar 30,52 dengan nilai p<0.05. Ada peningkatan pengetahuan dan perilaku setelah diberikan penyuluhan pemberdayaan pangan lokal sebagai PMT ibu hamil dalam upaya pencegahan stunting di daerah endemik malaria yang dilakukan di Kampung Karadiri Distrik Wanggar Kabupaten Nabire.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of the preceptor and the anxiety of clinical practice students in hospitals. This research method is quantitative, using a cross-sectional study design approach. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between the role of preceptor, knowledge, and students' level of anxiety regarding TB transmission in hospitals with a p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the role of the preceptor and the fear of clinical practice students in hospitals regarding the transmission of pulmonary TB. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of acupressure on changes in Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) values in patients with decreased consciousness. The research design used was a quasi-experiment, one group pre-test, and a post-test design. The results of the univariate analysis showed that before the acupressure intervention, the majority of respondents (23.3%) were at the somnolent level of consciousness, and after the intervention, the majority of respondents, six people (20.0%), were at the delirium level of consciousness. The results of bivariate analysis showed that the p-value (0.004). In conclusion, acupressure has an effect on changes in GCS values in patients with decreased consciousness. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of slow deep breathing exercises on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Telaga Dewa Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of univariate analysis obtained that the average respondent was 64 years old, with the majority gender being female, namely seven respondents (53.3%). Most respondents have a family history of hypertension, as many as 12 (80%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after slow deep breathing intervention in hypertension sufferers in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of oketani massage on smooth breastfeeding in breastfeeding mothers at the Basuki Rahmat Community Health Center, Bengkulu City. This research is quantitative research with a "Quasi-Experimental" research design. The study's results showed that the average value of breast milk production before being given the Oketani massage intervention was 5.07, and after being given the Oketani massage intervention, the average value was 6.33. The dependent t-test results obtained a deal (P) = 0.000 < (0.05). In conclusion, there is a difference in the flow of breast milk before and after the oketani massage on the smooth flow of breast milk in breastfeeding mothers in the working area of the Basuki Rahmat Health Center. Abstract

This study aims to look at the factors that influence students in facing their final project. This research method is quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The results showed that the average age of the respondents was 21 years, with the youngest 20 years old and the oldest 22 years old. Most (76.3%) of the research respondents were 45, and of the total respondents, the majority (64.9%) of 24 respondents experienced moderate anxiety. And 31 respondents (83.8%) have high family support then, strong peer influence is 31 respondents (83.8%), the influence of supervisors is vital to as many as 33 respondents (89.2%), and the influence of the environment good as many as 30 respondents (81.1%). The bivariate analysis results showed that the p-values ​​for all variables were < 0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between support from family, peers, supervisors, and the environment with student anxiety in facing the final project. Abstract

This study aims to compare the use of soursop leaf decoction to reduce blood pressure in hypertension sufferers in the Work Area of the West Lingkar Health Center, Bengkulu City. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that the average systolic blood pressure before being given soursop leaf decoction was 146.67 mmHg to 140.13 mmHg, while the diastolic blood pressure was 85.07 to 80.93 mmHg. The statistical test results showed that the p-value of systolic blood pressure was 0.008 and diastolic blood pressure was 0.038. In conclusion, there was a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after the soursop leaf decoction intervention. Keywords: Hypertension, Soursop Leaf Decoction, Blood Pressure

Abstract

This study aims to look at the factors that influence student anxiety in facing clinical nursing practice. This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional study design approach. The results showed that the majority of respondents (69.14%) were female, 56 people, and most of the 39 respondents (48.1%) of all respondents had moderate anxiety. In addition, 51 respondents (63%) had good knowledge, up to 52 respondents (64.2%) had good skills, 61 respondents (75.3%) had significant supervisory influence, and 46 respondents (56.8% ) had an excellent environmental effect. In conclusion, there is an important relationship between knowledge, skills, supervisors, and the environment with students' anxiety in facing clinical nursing practice.
