Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of corporate governance as measured by the variables of the proportion of institutional ownership and the proportion of independent members of the board of commissioners meeting on the company financial performance as measured by return on assets (ROA) and  return on equity (ROE).The population used in this study is an agriculture company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2021. Sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling method and obtained 30 samples. This study uses secondary data from annual reports obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2017-2021. The method of analysis used to analyze data is multiple regression. Based on the results of hypothesis testing in this study, it is evident that (1) the proportion of institutional ownerships has a negative and significant effect on the ROA. (2) the proportion of independent members of the board of commissioners positively and significant affects the ROA. (3) the proportion of institutional ownerships has a negative and significant effect on the ROE. (4) the proportion of independent members of the board of commissioners positively and doesn’t significant affects the ROE..

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menyampaikan faktor-faktor produksi yang digunakan dalam budidaya jagung di Desa Babakan Raden Kecamatan Cariu Kabupaten Bogor Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan pengamatan, masih belum jelas bagaimana faktor/parameter produksi jagung yang digunakan petani di desa tersebut belum mencukupi, yang mengakibatkan petani belum mampu meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman jagung.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) muncul dari konsep atas kesadaran mahasiswa sebagai calon sarjana untuk dapat memanfaatkan sebagian waktu belajarnya menyumbangkan pengetahuan dan ilmu yang telah diperolehnya secara langsung dalam membantu para warga sekitar yang memiliki usaha kecil menengah untuk menentukan lokasi di Google Maps agar dapat dijangkau oleh masyarakat luas. KKN di Desa Tugu Utara menjadi bukti bentuk kepedulian mahasiswa dan kampus Universitas Krisnadwipayana dimana tujuan KKN ini sebagai bentuk penyuluhan kepada warga sekitar yang memiliki UMKM di Desa Tugu Utara sekaligus memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan umum melalui aplikasi Google Maps. KKN penyuluhan UMKM Universitas Krisnadwipayana dilakukan di Desa Tugu Utara kecamatan Cisarua, Kabupaten Bogor Jawa barat. Di 2 tempat tersebut dilaksanakan program kerja yang telah dibuat oleh para Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa untuk berpikir cepat dan melatih mahasiswa untuk menjadi kelompok penyuluhan tentang cara menggunakan aplikasi google maps dalam menentukan titik lokasi.

Abstract

Waste management is one of the greatest challenges faced by global communities today. Understanding the types, sources, and forms of waste is essential to raise awareness. This study aims to increase awareness and promote positive behavior in household waste management, focusing on the Environmentally Aware Community (MasDarLing) in Pondokgede District, which consists of 5 sub-districts and 78 neighborhood units (RW), through the UNKRIS Community Service Program (KKN). This research employs a qualitative analysis method with several stages, including preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that 67% of the community understands the importance of not littering, 84% are aware of the need to sort waste before disposal, and 97% are conscious of the negative impacts of waste on the environment. Additionally, 84% of the community deposits inorganic waste at waste banks, and 97% have knowledge about composting and biopore absorption holes. The positive impacts of this activity include a cleaner environment, increased environmental awareness, and the establishment of more waste banks in Pondokgede District.

Abstract

This study presents an engineering-based approach to investment modeling in the context of emerging markets, with a focus on portfolio management strategies in the Indonesian equity market. By integrating computational finance techniques and decision analytics, the research develops a structured framework for assessing risk-return dynamics and optimizing asset allocation decisions. Using daily stock return data from two representative companies across different economic sectors—PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM.JK) from telecommunications and PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO.JK) from energy/mining—the study applies Monte Carlo simulation, Value at Risk (VaR), and statistical decision modeling to evaluate both individual and combined investment performance. Results indicate distinct risk-return profiles, where PTRO.JK offers higher average returns but with significantly greater volatility compared to TLKM.JK. A cross-sector portfolio consisting of 60% TLKM.JK and 40% PTRO.JK demonstrates notable diversification benefits, reducing overall portfolio risk as evidenced by improved VaR estimates. For a hypothetical IDR 100 million investment, the diversified portfolio reduces maximum expected loss by more than 50% compared to investing solely in TLKM.JK. These findings highlight the effectiveness of quantitative, model-driven approaches in supporting strategic investment decisions. By bridging financial engineering methodologies with practical portfolio management needs in Indonesia, this study contributes a replicable framework that enhances decision-making under uncertainty, particularly for investors seeking to balance growth potential with downside risk control in multi-sector allocations.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Interest Rates (IR) on the profitability indicators, specifically Return on Assets (ROA) and Stock Return (SR). The motivation for this investigation arises from observed differences in various research findings and real-world events, prompting a reassessment by researchers. The study adopts a quantitative descriptive approach, employing panel data multiple regression analysis with 20 cross-sectional samples spanning a 6-year time series. The research formula is crafted to optimize Stock Return by including Return on Assets as an intervening variable, focusing particularly on companies within the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Two distinct research models are formulated and integrated into a unified model, subjected to rigorous model selection tests such as Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test. The study's results suggest that LDR can only indirectly influence SR through the mediating role of ROA. Furthermore, IR has a direct impact on SR without the mediation of ROA. These findings are expected to offer valuable guidance for banking practitioners in Indonesia and market participants, aiding them in maximizing Stock Returns
