Abstract

This study aims to explain waqf governance in maintaining its existence. Waqf can create public value by using management, public service, and governance approaches to waqf policies. This illustrates the existence of waqf in the middle of the public administration process with the governance model developed by Nadzir. This type of phenomenological research with a qualitative approach based on the philosophy of postpositivism with primary and secondary data through purposive sampling and snowball. Data collection techniques use observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results and discussion of the research paradigm are naturalistic in nature, because it allows finding the meaning of each phenomenon, both regarding local wisdom, traditional, emic, ethical, abstract (moral values), and theories of the subjects studied. The existence and management of waqf in Islamic boarding schools is a form of good waqf governance (good waqf givenance). Good waqf governance is built on three main pillars, namely first; waqf values in Islamic boarding schools which originate from the Koran, al-Hadith, and the yellow book, for example; attitude of Tawadhu', Ikhlas, Qana'ah, Tabarruk, Innovative, and Amanah as public values (moral values). Second; waqf governance models that are in accordance with the objectives and functions of waqf, namely to provide benefits to the surrounding community, both directly and continuously. Third; waqf governance is supported by a legal basis both spiritual and public administration (government).

Abstract

Patient safety culture is a contributing factor to organization and management in implementing patient safety programs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of 12 dimensions of patient safety culture on patient safety incidents. This research was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. Respondents were selected by simple random sampling technique, namely 109 nurses at RS X Malang City. The data collection instrument was the Hospital Survey On Patient Safety Culture issued by AHRQ (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality). The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression test. The results of the analysis showed that the p-value for the dimensions of overall perception of patient safety = 0.000, communication openness = 0.035, feedback and communication about errors = 0.041, incident reporting frequency = 0.000, handover and transition = 0.014, staffing = 0.008, cooperation between units = 0.000, cooperation within the unit = 0.000, and the expectations and actions of supervisors/managers in promoting patient safety = 0.000. This study reveals that the dimensions of patient safety culture influence patient safety incidents. Effectiveness in evaluating patient safety culture must be linked to strategies designed to develop an overall patient safety culture in Hospital X.Keywords: organization; patient safety culture; patient safety incident ABSTRAK Budaya keselamatan pasien merupakan faktor kontributor dari organisasi dan manajemen, dalam upaya penerapan program keselamatan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh 12 dimensi budaya keselamatan pasien terhadap insiden keselamatan pasien. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Responden dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling, yakni 109 perawat di RS X Kota Malang. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah Hospital Survey On Patient Safety Culture yang dikeluarkan oleh AHRQ (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier ganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai p untuk dimensi persepsi keseluruhan tentang keselamatan pasien = 0,000, keterbukaan komunikasi = 0,035, umpan balik dan komunikasi tentang kesalahan = 0,041, frekuensi pelaporan kejadian = 0,000, serah terima dan transisi = 0,014, staffing = 0,008, kerjasama antar unit = 0,000, kerjasama dalam unit = 0,000, dan ekspektasi dan tindakan supervisor/manajer dalam mempromosikan keselamatan pasien = 0,000. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa dimensi budaya keselamatan pasien berpengaruh terhadap insiden keselamatan pasien. Keefektifan dalam mengevaluasi budaya keselamatan pasien harus dikaitkan dengan strategi yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan budaya keselamatan pasien secara menyeluruh di RS X.Kata kunci: organisasi; budaya keselamatan pasien; insiden keselamatan pasien

Abstract

The neglected elderly choose to live in a nursing home with the hope that they can get psychological peace of mind for the problems they are experiencing. This study aims to identify, identify, and analyze the relationship patterns of the elderly in fulfilling psychological needs in nursing homes: "UPT PSTW Jember". This study used the concepts of patterns, relationships, elderly, needs, elderly psychology, and social welfare. Psychology was one part of the condition of social welfare. The approach used in this research was a qualitative study. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of direct or covert active participation observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies. Researchers used the method of analysis reduction, view, conclusion and verification; while to test the validity of the data using the source and method triangulation method. The results showed the low quality of the elderly's relationships which was marked by frequent quarrels between the elderly, resulting in the elderly often moving rooms. Frequently changing rooms would automatically change friends in one room, or one guest house. This made the elderly often felt pressured and uncomfortable. They had to accept the inconvenience, given the condition that they no longer had anything or anyone. Some of the elderly who were in "UPT PSTW Jember" were experiencing love, but because of the prohibition, the elderly who were in love interact secretly.Keywords: pattern; relation; elderly; need; psychological; social welfare ABSTRAK Lansia yang terlantar memilih tinggal panti werdha dengan harapan agar bisa mendapatkan ketenangan secara psikologis atas masalah yang dialami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, mengidentifikasi, dan menganalisis pola relasi lansia dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan psikologis di panti werdha: “UPT PSTW Jember”. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep pola, relasi, lansia, kebutuhan, psikologi lansia, dan kesejahteraan sosial. Psikologi menjadi salah satu bagian dari kondisi kesejahteraan sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi partisipasi aktif secara terus terang maupun tersamar, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan metode analisis reduksi, tampilan, kesimpulan dan verifikasi; sedangkan untuk uji keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rendahnya kualitas relasi lansia yang ditandai dengan seringnya terjadi pertengkaran antar lansia, sehingga mengakibatkan lansia sering dipindah kamar. Seringnya berpindah kamar secara otomatis akan mengubah teman dalam satu kamar, maupun satu wisma. Hal ini menjadikan lansia kerap kali merasa tertekan dan merasa tidak nyaman. Ketidaknyamanan itu harus diterima oleh mereka, mengingat kondisi yang sudah tidak memiliki apa-apa dan siapa-siapa. Beberapa lansia yang berada di “UPT PSTW Jember” mengalami kasmaran, namun karena adanya larangan, maka lansia yang kasmaran melakukan interaksi secara diam-diam.Kata kunci: pola; relasi; lansia; kebutuhan; psikologis; kesejahteraan sosial
