Abstract

The pependetan dance "Panca Sani" is a creative dance whose movements are based on a developed traditional dance. This dance describes the reception and expression of gratitude to the gods who descend into the natural world. The idea for this work was inspired by the Wayang Istri dance at the Pangrebongan Kesiman temple. Wayang Istri dance is a ngerebong traditional dance of the Kesiman people held at the Agung Petikan Pengarebongan Kesiman Temple, Denpasar. This ceremonial dance is held every 6 months and falls on Buda Cemeng Langkir Day. The movements and costumes are presented very simply by bringing a property of a rectangular shape made of cow/buffalo leather. The method of creating the "Panca Sani" Pependetan dance refers to I Wayan Dibia's concept in the Panca Sthiti Ngawi Sani creation methodology through five stages of the art creation process, as follows: inspiration/ngawirasa, exploration/ngawacak, conception/ngarencana, execution/ngawangun and the production/ngebah stage. 5 female dancers dance this Pependetan creative dance to express the characters in the dance: majesty, nobility, sincerity which is presented through the graceful beauty of the movements, and the costumes. The dance accompaniment uses a set of Gong Gede gamelan. Pependetan dance is a character education effort with the community to foster a conducive mood and moral formation for each individual involved in the world of education. Growing individuals as moral persons according to what is desired is the core of character education. The results of this work are expected to preserve the teaching and development of pependetan to form a positive attitude for the formation of good character.

Abstract

Melihat pentingnya sebuah media pembelajaran untuk mendokumentasikan hasil karya seni, dan disertai wujud kepedulian terhadap seni budaya dan seni keagamaan di Provinsi Lampung, maka peneliti tertarik mengembangkan video pembelajaran tari Rejang Pangastuti. Tujuan penelitian ini (1) mendeskripsikan rancang bangun video pembelajaran tari Rejang Pangastuti; (2) mendeskripsikan hasil validasi ahli tari, ahli media, dan guru seni tari terhadap video pembelajaran tari Rejang Pangastuti; (3) mendeskripsikan hasil uji coba perorangan terhadap video pembelajaran tari Rejang Pangastuti pada siswa Sanggar Seni Lentera Bandar Lampung; (4) mendeskripsikan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil terhadap video pembelajaran tari Rejang Pangastuti pada siswa Sanggar Seni Lentera Bandar Lampung.Penelitian ini berpendekatan penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Teknik pengumpulan datanya digunakan angket dan wawancara. Analisis datanya dilakukan secara kuantitatif melalui penyekoran, sedangkan data berupa komentar dan saran dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat diuraikan (1) membuat rancang bangun video pembelajaran tari Rejang Pangastuti diawali dengan mengidentifikasi potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data, desain produk (pembuatan flowchart dan storyboar), penyusunan materi sejarah, fungsi, iringan, ragam gerak, struktur gerak tari, tata rias, tata busana, pola lantai; (3) hasil validasi ahli materi tari, ahli media dan guru seni tari, memperoleh hasil bahwa video pembelajaran tari Rejang Pangastuti memenuhi kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase sebesar 98,61; (4) hasil uji coba perorangan memperoleh keseluruhan persentase sebesar 96,87 yang memenuhi kriteria sangat layak; (5) hasil uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh keseluruhan persentase sebesar 100 yang memenuhi kriteria sangat layak.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu upaya menghasilkan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien perlu dilakukan pembuatan video pembelajaran tari Kebyar Gandrung agar kedepannnya dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di Sanggar Seni Cudamani. Tari Kebyar Gandrung belum banyak diketahui namun telah berkembang sampai ke Amerika sehingga perlu dilestarikan untuk menarik minat peserta didik mempelajarinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan video pembelajaran tari Kebyar Gandrung; (2) mendeskripsikan hasil validasi ahli isi (ahli tari), ahli media dan guru tari terhadap video pembelajaran dari tari Kebyar Gandrung; (3) mendeskripsikan hasil uji coba perorangan dan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil terhadap video pembelajaran tari Kebyar Gandrung pada peserta didik di Sanggar Seni Cudamani Desa Mas Ubud Gianyar. Pada metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan (research and development). menggunakan wawancara dan angket dalam teknik pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis data secara kuantitatif berupa penyekoran dan kualitatif berupa komentar dan saran. Hasil penelitian terdiri dari (1) rancang bangun pembuatan video; (2) mengumpulkan data, desain produk yaitu merancang flowchart dan storyboard, menguraikan deskripsi sejarah, fungsi, iringan, ragam gerak, struktur gerak, tata rias, tata busana, pola lantai; (3) hasil validasi ahli materi seni tari;(4) hasil validasi ahli media pembelajaran; (4) hasil uji coba perorangan dan kelompok kecil pada peserta didik di Sanggar Seni Cudamani, sehingga memperoleh hasil sangat layak dan tidak perlu revisi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Classical Janger Dance activity in fostering an attitude of love for arts and culture in the youth organization Sekaa Teruna Teruni (STT) Tri Dharma Bakti Banjar Pesalakan, Pejeng Kangin Village, Tampak Siring, Gianyar, Bali. This study uses a qualitative research method and was held in Banjar Pesalakan. Data were obtained through direct observation and documentation regarding the profile of STT Tri Dharma Bakti and interviews with the Kelian of Banjar Pesalakan and the Classical Janger Dance instructor. The results indicate that the role of the Classical Janger Dance activity is as a form to introduce arts and Balinese songs, which contains moral learning values, good character and national character education. Concerns about the absence of the younger generation preserving Balinese arts and culture due to economic needs, becoming tourism actors, studying far from the village are the reasons that drive the desire of kelian banjar to form a Classical Janger Dance group for young people at STT. Indirectly, learning the Classical Janger Dance has a very important role in shaping the character of the younger generation, a tolerance, a mutual respect for one another, patience, fostering self-confidence, a spirit of mutual cooperation and fostering a love for the attitude of the younger generation, continuing and preserving the Classical Janger Dance. Thus, the younger generation of STT can play a role and preserve Balinese traditional arts so that they are not eroded by the waves of globalization that are currently developing rapidly.
