Abstract

The issue that becomes the focus is the phenomenon of identity formation “like an ustazah” which was built by “ Group of Mothers Who Love Sharing in Bojong” through the habit of copying verses, hadith, religious studies, and tafsir. Their behavior is often without filters, explanations, and text corrections. The research method used is Communication Mediated Computer (CMC) with online interview and online discussion. Research findings report that in the view of identity communication, the formation of identity in the Group of Mothers Who Love Sharing Bojong is built through symbolic activities resulting from the fusion of their characters and thoughts with their social environment. Meanwhile, from a feminine writing perspevtive criticizes that copypas behavior in WAG indicates a sexist and ideological structure: women who do not write in their own language and body are assumed they deny their independence, authenticity, transformation, and strength. In conclusion, women can actually preach on social media freely and actively, and even become active copy-paste agents but still remain tabayun and critical.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Islamic-based empathic communication in the GCKI (Indonesian Smart Communication Movement) program as a strategy for handling bullying cases at Al-Basyariah High School Bogor. Using a case study method, this study analyzes how empathic communication, both cognitive and affective, can be applied in an educational context to create a more inclusive and safer environment for students. Cognitive empathic communication theory emphasizes understanding the perspective of others, while affective empathic communication focuses on emotional resonance and concern for the feelings of others. The Islamic approach reinforces the moral and ethical values that underlie social interaction, emphasizing the importance of compassion, justice, and mutual respect. The results of the study show that the application of Islamic-based empathetic communication in the GCKI program at Al-Basyariah High School in Regency Bogor succeeded in reducing bullying incidents, increasing students' awareness of the impact of bullying, increase students' awareness of the impact of negative behavior, as well as build solidarity among them. This finding is expected to be a reference for other schools in developing more effective anti-bullying programs.

Abstract

The study of hyperpersonal communication behavior of Muslim couples through online love comes from observing the phenomenon of the activities of internet users of different sexes who interact socially, intensely, romance, even intimate even though they are not married. Despite the prohibition of Islamic religion about dating, problems have been found, that chat rooms on Facebook and Whastapp have indicated that love relationships are easier and more open than real life, often without barriers or religious norms, social status, education, physical differences, state , marital status, and age. In addition, online love has made it easy for people to find a partner (jodo), whether religious or not, can be used as an affair media for couples whose marital life is in disarray, and a media for disloyal acts to their partners. The approach used is Social Hermeneutics, Hyperpersonal Communication theory and the concept of Islamic relations. The methodology used by the communication mediated computer (CMC) method through online interviews of online couples in love in various characteristics and patterns of interaction or communication The results of the study suggest that in hyper-personal communication, Muslim couples through cyberlovers on Facebook and Watsapp construct self-presentation, self-attribution, and communication intensification. to his partner. These Muslim couples can play a role as selective senders, but they lack control over non-religious communication. As recipients, couples are less able to be balancing and adjusting their communication. In the channel, the pairs communicate asynchronously and synchronously where the informants send each other "intensive messages" or continuously without space and time. However, the nature of this online couple's relationship is not in accordance with the ta'aruf, khitbah and ghasiyah nau frame contained in Islamic values.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the concept of la uhibbu and da'wah fiqh in analyzing the reality of the pros and cons of da'wah. Because, the challenges and opportunities of da'wah, as an effort to convey the noble teachings of the Islamic religion, often reap pros and cons from the mad'u or recipient of the da'wah, which are caused by factors of the preacher (communicator), the messages packaged, the media used, on the part of his own mad'u (communication), or how to give feedback to his audience. The aim of the study is to explore and describe the aspects and factors that make preaching unpopular with some individuals. This study was explored using literature analysis methods on references and texts relevant to the theme of this study. The findings explain that several main factors involve the incompatibility of da'wah methods with the social context, a lack of understanding of the audience, and the potential for misuse of da'wah for personal or certain group interests. The results of the discussion explain that the complexity of social dynamics in receiving da'wah requires a more contextual approach and is based on a deep understanding of the needs of the target community

Abstract

Abstract: Worldview is a framework of thinking or fundamental beliefs about our vision of the world and a vision of our shadow or expression in the future. The term worldview is also used in Islam to explore the reality of the world through a set of Qur'an-based and hadith-based knowledge such as al-mabda', al-nazariyat, al-tawassur al-Islamiyah, and so on. The worldview device as an important element in seeing human reality refers to the three pillars of philosophy, namely epistemology, ontology, and axiology. Epistemilogy in looking at gender metamorphoses from just a definition, a concept to a study or theory. In Islam the epistemological concept is used to look at gender in two approaches: the epistemology of the bayani (a more rational worldview based on the Quranic text in viewing gender bias) and the burhani epistemology (worldview of gender in rabbaniyah, thabat, syumul, waqi'iyah, ijabbiyah, tawazun, and tawhid). In gender ontology it is discussed in its essence or "being". The perspective of Western thinkers (liberal feminism, radical feminism, postmodern feminism, existensial feminism, psychoanalysis feminis, Asia feminism, etc) and Modern Islam (Islamic femins) views the nature of gender as social construction which say that the gender world constructed by social and culture consensus not fitrah, whereas Islamic thinkers see that the Qur'an forms gender equality in essence to undermine the notion of radical differences and gender hierarchies related to the origin of human creation. As for axiology, gender studies have value to the extent that studies have benefits or benefits to others. Finally, gender studies in the view of the Qur'an are "to see" men and women not only inseparable, but also the same as Allah says specially ain Surat Al-Nisa 'verse 1 and the othe verses

Abstract

The issue that is the focus of this paper is the phenomenon of identity formation that is built through da'wah conveyed by women on social media, such as the Gender Studies Community (Ustazah Nur Rodiah), the Niqab Squad (Indardari and Dina Nurlina), and Mumpuni Handayekti. The ustazahs who understand Islam seem to be a reference for the public because of their understanding and mastery of verses, hadiths, religious studies, and interpretations which are the content of their platforms at any time. On the one hand, the convenience of social media as a source of da'wah content has triggered the emergence of "millennial ustazah identity" as the spirit of women to ground the da'wah movement. On the other hand, being a "religious agent" that positions women as preachers still gets stereotypes from the dominant environment. These activities of KGI, Niqab Squad, and Mumpuni Handayekti attempt to be studied through the conceptual approaches of Technoreligion, Gender Communication Identity, and Helena Cixous Writing Feminist Criticism. This study uses the netnography method on three da'wah content on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. The results of the study provide findings that in the technology concept, social media has the potential to expand and structure the religious behavior of KGI, Niqab Squad and Mumpuni Handayekti preachers as part of millennial society Especially in obtaining messages and religious identity of these preachers in the concept of Gender Communication Identity, explaining that the formation of their identity on social media: KGI (youtube and instagram), Niqab Squad (youtube, instagram, facebook), and Mumpuni Handayekti (youtube) can be traced through I and Me characters who are awakened through their behavior or symbolic activities with the mad'u (audience). And, in the perspective of Hélène Cixous explains that the formation of the identity of "millennial ustazah" indicates a sexist and ideological structure: KGI (identity: critical and scientific studies), Niqab Squad (identity: stylist and millennial), and Mumpuni Handayekti (identity: local feminine). assumed to have independence, authenticity, transformation, and strength of its own. Although they have their own uniqueness and strengths that masculine don't have: sharpness of taste and language that is different from men's (language that emerges from the media).

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions of students of SD Karawaci Baru VIII Tangerang on the animated video The story of the Prophet Ibrahim (as) starting from the growing concern about animated video content and games that contain dangerous content or can damage the future of the nation's generation. This animated video produced by Al-Imran contains da'wah bil wisdom, da'wah bil mau'izah, and da'wah jidal bil ahsan in it. Therefore, the researchers tried to raise it through the theory of perception and the da'wah bil wasilah approach through the case study method with field observations and semi-structured interviews. The results of this study explain that the students of SD Karawaci Baru VIII Tangerang are supported by their parents and teachers in watching the animated video The Story of the Prophet Ibrahim as finding the meaning of wisdom, mau'izah hasanah, and jidal ahsan to be used as a means to build an umbrella or reaction filter against various information from outside that is not good or negative. Functionally (personal) and structurally (external environment) these students tend to like the story of the prophet Ibrahim, apart from their inner motives, as well as various needs that they don't get anywhere else or in their family. In addition, there is a desire to convey a call about the goodness, wisdom, and piety of Prophet Ibrahim which is suitable for learning these elementary school children. With order, creed, shari'ah, morals, and culture; animated videos become a small window to watch the various histories and stories of the noble prophets.

Abstract

Background: Women in prisoners endure ongoing prejudice and objectification, issues that are intensified by the absence of a substantial religious life. At the Class II Correctional Institution in Paledang, Bogor, prophetic communication transcends mere imitation of the prophet’s communicative methods, ‘dawah,’ or ‘Islamic communication’; it encompasses efforts to emulate prophetic objectives, particularly in the context of shaping religious practices among female inmates, which remains inadequately explored. Comprehending its impact is crucial for fulfilling convicts’ spiritual and therapeutic requirements. Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the application of prophetic communication within the religious practices of female inmates in the Class II Paledang prison in Bogor. Methods: A phenomenological method was utilized to investigate the informants’ subjective awareness and interpretive experiences. The data collection was comprised of in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to thoroughly comprehend inmates’ religious experiences. Results: The results underscore three facets of prophetic communication: The humanistic aspect features structured religious programs; however, insufficient facilities impede optimal worship, and religious communication is restricted to communal prayers and spiritual visits; In the liberation aspect, initiatives promoting prophetic values like love and tolerance exist, yet numerous inmates remain disengaged; In the transcendence aspect, inmates are urged to cultivate Islamic spirituality. Conclusion: Prophetic communication can confront the spiritual issues inmates face, yet infrastructural limitations, inconsistency, and individual crises of faith hinder its efficacy. Implications: This study theoretically contributes to the discourse on prophetic communication in correctional environments and practically underscores the significance of structured religious guidance to improve inmates’ spiritual well-being and rehabilitation. This research is crucial for communication studies since it can provide new insights, particularly in critical theory for inmates, cross-cultural communication, spiritual communication, and gender communication.
