Abstract

Characteristics of friendships are spending time together, interacting in diverse contexts, distancing others from the relationship, and offering emotional support to one another. But in friendship there are often conflicts. Conflict is a social phenomenon that can happen to anyone and anywhere. To resolve conflicts and disputes that occur with friends, teenagers are required to be able to control their emotions. Adolescents who are able to reduce and control emotions can be seen from the emotional intelligence of adolescents. Correct emotional balance, satisfaction classification, and mood regulation are all possible with emotional intelligence. This study uses a quantitative research methodology. In this study, the quantitative method was applied with a correlational approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Puding Besar with a population of 350 students, but the researchers took a sample of 50 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data retrieval by filling in the scale. Data analysis using Pearson Correlation Product Moment. The results of this study found that the contribution of emotional intelligence to friendly conflict obtained a significant level < 0.001 < 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.494, meaning that emotional intelligence has a correlation with friendly conflict. The contribution of emotional intelligence to friendly conflict is a negative relationship, so it can be assumed that the higher the emotional intelligence, the lower the friendship conflict. Abstract

The Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta ranks third with the highest number of cases of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) nationally. One of the complications of DM, a severe health problem, is diabetic ulcers. Diabetic ulcer care and Covid-19 prevention are strictly associated with a high risk of transmission, a poor prognosis, and a high mortality rate when infected with Covid-19 are needed during a pandemic situation, one of which is to increase the role of the family (caregiver). The purpose of the activity is to optimize the role of caregivers in the simple care of diabetic wounds at home (stay at home) during the Covid-19 period. Comprehensive education about DM management in general and diabetic wounds in particular to families (caregivers), which is carried out using a direct method in conjunction with homecare services for simple treatment of diabetic ulcers while still implementing the Covid-19 health protocol. Providing good benefits to the family (caregiver) as evidenced by an increase in the average score of knowledge and also an increase in the average score of self-perception of ability in performing simple diabetic wound care. The development of long-term care for chronic patients can continue to be carried out by involving the active role of the family (caregiver) as the closest support system for patients. Education to the family directly increases the knowledge and confidence of the family in performing simple diabetic wound care. This program can be an alternative to optimizing infection prevention and the healing process of diabetic wounds.

This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation approach. Respondents in this study were high school students in Yogyakarta. The number of respondents as many as 80 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data retrieval using scale filling. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results showed that respondents had a perception of authoritarian parenting in the medium category with a percentage of 86.3% (69 people), while the respondents' self-confidence was at a moderate level with a percentage of 85% (68 people). Based on the data on the results of the determination test (R Square) which shows that the test results (R²) are worth 0.115 or 11.5%. Perceptions of authoritarian parenting contributed 11.5% to self-confidence. There is a significant negative relationship between the perception of authoritarian parenting and self-confidence in high school students in Yogyakarta. Abstract

The constitutional mandate that every citizen has the right to an equitable education is reflected in inclusive schools. However, it can be challenging for inclusive schools to offer the best education due to the many features of students, both cognitively normal and those with special needs. This is because of a lack of pedagogical expertise, particularly among teachers who lack a base in inclusive education. Therefore, this community service program aims to provide pedagogical competency training for SDN 2 Petir teachers. Community service activities are carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The training was delivered through seminars on the practice of early identification of ABK and the practice of collecting ABK profiles, as well as information on inclusive schools and the characteristics of ABK. The evaluation's findings demonstrated that the training significantly improved the pedagogical knowledge and abilities of SDN 2 Petir teachers.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the effectiveness of Islamic hypnotherapy and anchor technique in reducing smoking intentions in adolescents. There were 18 participants in the study: 6 people in the experimental group I (given intervention in the form of Islamic hypnotherapy), 6 people in the experimental group II (given intervention in the form of anchor hypnotherapy), and 6 people in the control group or a waiting list group which would be given intervention after the completion of intervention process in the experimental group I and II. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Kruskal Wallis Test. The data showed that Islamic hypnotherapy was effective in lowering smoking intention (p=0.027), but anchor hypnotherapy was ineffective in lowering smoking intention (p=0.343). The control group showed no change in smoking intention (p=0.596). Qualitatively, participants in experimental groups I and II reported decreased smoking frequency but the decrease was higher in the experimental group I. Meanwhile, the control group did not experience a decrease.
