<![CDATA[This study aimed to find the answers about inculcating Islamic education values through a mentoring model in the student activity unit (SAU) of spirituality. This study applied a qualitative approach with key informants referring to the student members of the spirituality SAU at IAIN Curup in the academic year of 2019/2020. Data collection was carried out by observation and in-depth interviews, and the analysis was further carried out using the Miles’ et al. approach composed of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study drew a conclusion that: The process of inculcating Islamic educational values carried out in the spirituality SAU by means of mentoring started from the opening, core activities, closing, and evaluation stages. The values of Islamic education instilled extended to faith, worship, and morals realized from various activities or programs existing in the spirituality SAU, such as Silaturahim, ifthor jama'i, rihlah or tadabbur of nature and visitation of figures.]]>

<![CDATA[Dayah BULISC is a new educational institution in the West Aceh region, but in a short time, the Dayah has been able to establish itself as one of the institutions that are in demand by the community. This fact is then interested to be investigated. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and document searches. The results of the study show that Dayah BULISC has been able to apply the marketing mix (product, people, price, promotion, place, physical evidence, process) well in building the quality of institutions while increasing inter-institutional competitiveness. This can be seen. The product chosen by Dayah BULISC with the flagship program is the Tahfizul Quran. Dayah BULISCÂ has good resources and is supported by cheap and affordable tuition fees for the community. The location of Dayah is also very strategic with the condition of the building being quite good and complete in supporting the learning carried out. Dayah BULISC also conducts promotions using several media including social media so that messages about the conditions and programs that are carried out by Dayah can be conveyed in full to the community]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the behavioral tendencies of hyperactive students in State Islamic Elementary School 3 of West Aceh and how the homeroom teacher manages hyperactive students in MIN 3 West Aceh. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. Observations, interviews, and documentation were employed as data gathering strategies. This investigation was carried out at State Islamic Elementary School 3 of West Aceh. This study involved one principal of State Islamic Elementary School 3 of West Aceh and two homeroom teachers who teach hyperactive students. Based on the study's findings, it is apparent that the hyperactive students of MIN 3 Aceh Barat exhibit motor and mixed hyperactivity with a combination type. The homeroom activities for dealing with hyperactive students consist of (1) arranging seats, (2) issuing warnings, (3) providing hyperactive students with guidance, and (4) building a madrasa setting appropriate to the growth of hyperactive students.]]>

<![CDATA[Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 West Aceh is one of the most favorite madrasas in West Aceh. Of course, this cannot be separated from the role of public relations which has done various things in promoting MAN 1 Aceh Barat. Public relations plays a vital role in the process of providing education. This paper aims to determine the role of Public Relations in increasing the competitiveness of MAN 1 Aceh Barat. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the head of the madrasa, 1 waka from the public relations department, and 6 madrasa teachers at MAN 1 Aceh Barat. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Activities in data analysis include the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Public Relations of MAN 1 Aceh Barat has an essential role in increasing the competitiveness of madrasas. The role of public relations is carried out in two forms, namely 1) fostering internal relations with school residents by maintaining friendship and cooperation between fellow school communities and 2) fostering external relations for madrasas by maintaining relationships with outside communities such as collaborating in the fields of education, health, security, finance and make visits to schools.]]>

<![CDATA[The study aims to describe and analyze the process of learning history and strengthening pacifism characters in Madrasah Aliyah Aceh with data collection locations carried out in Pidie, Banda Aceh, West Aceh, and East Aceh. The subjects in this study were the head of the Madrasah, the teacher of history subjects and the supervisor of the madrasa. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, Focus Group Discussions and document studies. The results showed that the process of learning History at Madrasah Aliyah in Aceh had been carried out with several records of findings. There are still teachers who copy and paste in compiling lesson plans without making modifications. Active involvement of students in the history learning process is still lacking. This can be seen from the passivity of students, teachers rarely invite students to discuss, learning is still dominant in one direction and learning that has not been able to involve students' higher-order thinking skills. History teachers do not analyze evaluation instruments caused by the teacher's lack of understanding in conducting question point analysis. Then, the strengthening of pacifism character through history learning at Madrasah Aliyah in Aceh has not been carried out optimally. This happens because pacifism characters have not become priority characters in schools, pacifism character education-based lesson plans have not been implemented, history teachers have not all made lesson plans as a guideline in carrying out learning, history teachers have different educational backgrounds, teacher pedagogic competence and lack of history teacher development activities.]]>

The principal has an important role in coordinating, mobilizing and harmonizing all available educational resources in the school in order to realize the school's vision, mission, goals and objectives through programs that are implemented in a planned and gradual manner. To produce a professional headmaster, the recruitment process is an important stage that must be carried out professionally, transparently and accountably. The stages that must be carried out in the recruitment of principals are: (a) nomination of candidates by the principal / madrasah and / or supervisor of the school / madrasah, (b) administrative selection, (c) academic selection. But in the process in the field, the recruitment stage is often ignored and almost not carried out and even strongly suspected by political interests.]]>

<![CDATA[The South West of Aceh has been the Spice route in Aceh, especially since the mid-16th century, when the Kingdom of Aceh began to plant pepper massively. The potential of pepper was then eroded by colonialism and conflict so that it was forgotten by the community. Socialization of the potential of the spice route is important in efforts to revitalize the potential of the spice route in South West Aceh. The purpose of the Socialization is to increase historical awareness, promote culture, strengthen the economy, encourage desire and innovation and trigger tourism. The socialization which was carried out on 18 and 19 May 2022 was aimed at community leaders, economic actors and the government in Southwest Aceh and South Aceh districts. The socialization received a positive response from both the community and the government. However, there needs to be cooperation as an effort by universities to encourage the revitalization of the potential of the spice route in South West Aceh..]]>

<![CDATA[Bullying behavior has serious repercussions for victims and perpetrators. The victim he experienced psychosomatic symptoms, went to madrasa, felt worthless, felt alienated, and depressed. As for the perpetrator, he will develop into a dangerous individual when he grows up. This article will examine how to prevent bullying in MIN 8 West Aceh. This research uses qualitative methods. The subjects of this study include the head of the madrasah, the homeroom teacher, and students at MIN 8 West Aceh. The authors used observation, interview, and documentation methods in data collection. Data analysis is used in this study to reduce and display data and draw conclusions. The results showed that the madrasah has carried out good management related to preventing bullying in the madrasah environment. The madrasah started by formulating an appropriate program plan to prevent bullying. Planning is formulated by conducting program preparation work meetings involving teacher councils and stakeholders. Then, the program that has been prepared is carried out properly by the plans that have been prepared. The program implemented is anti-bullying guidance and socialization activities through poster media. The implementation of the program is well-evaluated by the madrasah. The evaluation is carried out by evaluating processes and results.]]>

<![CDATA[The reality of adolescent moral decadence in the current era is a serious problem that must be addressed immediately. In general, many problems are caused by a lack of character building. Because of that, character education is very important to be instilled. The role of schools as formal educational institutions is needed to continue to build the character from an early age through the application of good and quality character education and proper management. The purpose of this study was to find out how character education was applied at MTsN Meureubo Aceh Barat. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research are stakeholders at MTsN Meureubo. The results of this study indicate that the process of implementing character education at MTsN Meureubo is carried out with four alternative strategies including being integrated into all subjects, into daily activities, into school programs, and building communication with parents of students.]]>

<![CDATA[This study analyzes the implementation of the national policy on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education (Permendikbudristek 30/2021) and its relevance to Islamic Sharia values in Aceh, governed by the Qanun Jinayat. This duality presents a critical legal and practical challenge for state universities in the region. Using a qualitative method, this research investigated nine state universities in Aceh, collecting data from university leaders, Satgas teams, religious authorities, and students through interviews and documentation. The findings indicate that Permendikbudristek 30/2021 has been structurally implemented well, forming Satgas teams and improving student trust in reporting mechanisms. However, the core principle of consent in the regulation is a major point of contention, viewed by some groups as potentially conflicting with the Qanun Jinayat, which prohibits all extramarital sexual activity. To address this dilemma, several universities have adopted an adaptive approach by drafting derivative regulations involving scholars and community leaders to align the national policy with local Islamic law. This study emphasizes the complexity of integrating national protection policies with localized religious law. It recommends that policymakers and universities collaboratively develop contextual internal guidelines to strengthen victim protection while ensuring compliance with both national regulations and the Islamic Sharia prevailing in Aceh.]]>
