Abstract

The research has problem less reading comprehension ability explanation text in class IV. This research aims to increase reading comprehension ability using SQ3R in text explanation at IV class SDN Nantang. The researcher uses classroom action research. The result shows the use of SQ3R can increase reading comprehension ability in text explanation. Pre-test shows average scores are 45,83 with 27% complete and 73% incomplete. Cycle I with average scores are 75,67% with 60% complete and 40% incomplete and cycle II average scores 87,83 with 90% complete and 10% incomplete. The result of average is 42.  Reading comprehension ability is 53%. Based on the increase in pre-test until cycle I and cycle II, the conclusion is SQ3R can increase reading comprehension ability in text explanation at IV class SDN Nantang sub-district Cigalontang regency Tasikmalaya period 2020/2021

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' reading comprehension skills by using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method. This research method was conducted in 3 cycles using a classroom action research design belonging to Kemmis and Mc Taggart. In implementing this research, the steps of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method are used, which are divided into three stages, namely the opening activity, the core activity, and the closing activity. The results of the research in the first cycle obtained an average value of 78.6 with the percentage of students who had completed 70% and those who had not completed were 30%. Furthermore, in the second cycle an average score of 85.5 was obtained with the percentage of students who had completed 90% and those who had not completed were 10%. Meanwhile, in cycle III, an average score of 89.8 was obtained with the percentage of students who completed 100%. The results obtained, namely the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) method can improve reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students of SDN 3 Cilangkap, Tasikmalaya Regency.

Abstract

This research aims at developing an Ethnoliteracy-based guided discovery learning model in writing imaginary stories at elementary schools. It used the research and development (R&D) method with 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) model. Teachers and students in 5th-grade elementary schools served as the subjects of this research. The instruments that this research used included observation, interviews, and documentation with the developed steps of guided discovery learning model consisting of stimulus, problem identification, data collection, data processing, publication, and reflection. The data in this research were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research found that based on expert assessment, the feasibility of this learning model was scored 87.5% by the linguist and 93.3% by the culture expert. Based on the development trial result, the prepared learning planning was classified as highly practical at 86.7% and practical at 13.3%. In practice, students managed to write an imaginary story and scored an average of 80.28. This means that the Ethnoliteracy-based guided discovery learning model in writing imaginary stories was feasible for use in elementary school students.

Abstract

His research aims to determine the forms of delinquency in class II students at SDN Langensari and SDN Cikubang. The research aims to describe how teachers deal with student delinquency in class II at SDN Langensari and SDN Cikubang. Based on research results, analysis of the role of teachers in dealing with student delinquency in class II of SDN CIKUBANG and SDN Langensari, Taraju subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency has been carried out on two teachers and four students. Based on the research results obtained from two teachers and four students, there was mild delinquency among the four people. Mischief such as: fighting, not doing homework, disturbing friends when studying, skipping school. Factors that influence delinquency are family factors, namely disharmony and a broken home (divided parents) and lack of love and attention from parents. There is a description of the results of research conducted by researchers at SDN CIKUBANG and SDN Langensari.

Abstract

One effort to improve poetry writing skills in grade 4 students is to choose the rightmethod. In learning Indonesian, there is a lack of students' skills in writing poetry, low learning outcomes in poetry writing skills using inappropriate methods. The method used in this study is the image media method, which is a method for conveying material with a fun activity. This study aims to improve the poetry writing skills of grade 4 students at SDN 2 Cimanggu. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles which include planning, implementing, observing, reflecting. The research subjects were 20 grade 4 students at SDN 2 Cimanggu. Sources of data come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques using observation, written tests and documentation. The data collection instruments used were lesson plans, teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets and poetry writing assessment rubik. There is an increase in student learning outcomes after using media images. The results of the pre-action research showed that the average value of writing poetry was 58.25 with 20% student completeness, then cycle I learning activities with an average of 69 with 60% student completeness. Furthermore, in cycle II, students' learning abilities increased by an average of 76.25 with 85% student mastery. Thus image media can improve writing poetry for grade 4 students at SDN 2 Cimanggu.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and improving the results of the speaking skills of class III students at Cidadap state Elementary School. This research is a classroom action research. The subjectsnin this study werw class III students at Cidadap State Ele,entary Scool, totaling 28 students consisting of 19 girls and 9 boys. Source of data in this study are qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection using observation instruments, interviews, tes. And dokumentatios. The results showed that the use of the role playing method in class III Cidadap State Elementary School could improve the speaking skills of class III Cidadap State Elementary School could improve the speaking skills og class III students. This study consisted of 2 cycles. In sycle I the average score of students was 72.32 with a total number of students who completed as many as 10 students (35.7%) , in sycle II the average score of students increased to 83.5 with the number of students who completed as many as 25 people (89,5%). In the learning precess, the use of the role playing method can improve students speaking skills in class III Cidada State Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan “kondisi proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Indonesia, pemerintah melalui “Surat Keputusan Bersama nomor 03 tahun 2020”, “menimbang untuk melaksanakan proses pembelajaran tatap muka pada awal tahun 2021”. Maka beberapa persiapan yang harus dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat serta SD Negeri Sukasirna sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran tatap muka. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kesiapan pembelajaran tatap muka di SD Negeri Sukasirna. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif analisis atau survey. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan bahwa: 1) Sarana prasarana sebagai aspek infrastruktur berkaitan dengan kesiapan pembelajaran tatap muka sudah lengkap. 2) Guru mesosialisasikan pencegahan Covid-19 dengan cara peserta didik untuk melakukan kebiasaan melakukan protokol kesehatan. 3) Peserta didik sudah siap dan senang dalam pembelajaran tatap muka. 4) Orang tua memberikan dukungan kepada sekolah untuk pembelajaran tatap muka. Berdasarkan pemaparan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesiapan pembelajaran tatap muka di SD Negeri Sukasirna sudah siap dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan. Kata Kunci: Kesiapan, Pembelajaran, Tatap Muka, Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penerapan model role playing pada pembelajaran wawancara di kelas IV SDN Budiwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran telah dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik, ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata perencanaan sebesar 4,00 pada siklus I dan II. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan dari siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 3,60 menjadi 4,00 pada siklus II, dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 11,11%. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa dalam keterampilan berbicara juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata tes unjuk kerja sebesar 74,16 dengan ketuntasan 66,7%, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 85,33 dengan ketuntasan 86,66%. Persentase peningkatan hasil belajar mencapai 15,06%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model role playing efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran wawancara. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru dapat memanfaatkan model ini sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang menarik dan partisipatif, khususnya untuk materi yang menuntut keterampilan komunikasi siswa.
