Abstract

Perkembagan teknologi akan terus berkembang sangat cepat dalam kemajuan di segala bidang dan dapat memudahkan pekerjaan manusia, salah satunya yaitu dalam sektor bidang pertanian. Salah satu dari kemajuan teknologi tersebut yaitu dalam sistem kontrol dan otomatisasi. Cuaca di Indonesia seringkali tidak menentu, sehingga menyebabkan menyebabkan terjadinya gagal panen, Hal ini membuat petani menggunakan beberapa cara untuk membuat tanaman mereka dapat tetap bertahan meskipun cuaca seringkali berubah, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan greenhouse. Masalah yang ada di greenhouse pada tanaman tomat apel yaitu belum adanya alat untuk monitoing ph tanah, suhu dan kelembapan secara realtime, selain dari itu, penyiraman tanaman masih manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dalam proses penyiraman serta kurang meratanya pemberian nutrisi sehingga tumbuhan tomat tidak tumbuh dengan baik, selain dari itu petani sedikit kesusahan dalam mengecek tandon air penyiraman karena masih diisi secara manual. Untuk memudahkan para petani dalam menyiram tanaman dan pemberian pupuk dan nutrisi. Perancangan monitoring ini menggunakan metode prototype dan logika fuzzy sugeno. Dari hasil pengujian sistem, maka di dapatkan error dari sensor kelembapan tanah (Soil Moisture) sebesar 0,03% dengan selish 2,4, error dari sensor ultrasonic sebesar 0,08% dengan selisih 9,6, dan error dari Sensor DHT 11 (Sesnor suhu) sebesar 0,036% dengan selish 0,74. Rata-rata error yang dihasilkan dari perbandingan lamanya penyiraman antara matlab dan jam digital adalah 0,844%.

Abstract

The importance of digital security in today's technological era requires various innovations in creating a reliable security system for humans. Biometrics is an authentication method and the most effective system for performing personal recognition because biometrics have unique characteristics. Dorsal hand vein become biometrics for the individual recognition process in this study using feature extraction of gabor filters and neural network backpropagation to classify recognition into five classes of human individuals, which are expected to be able to provide a higher accuracy value when compared to research on the introduction of dorsal hand vein. This classification process has several stages, namely input image, image pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and image classification. The test results show that the percentage of success based on the five test scenarios has an average value of 75%. In this study, the results of the greatest test accuracy in the fourth scenario were 91%.

Abstract

Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDIKTI) Region IV West Java and Banten require a web-based Geographic Information System (WebGIS) that provides information about Private Universities (PTS) in West Java and Banten with a search feature that can provide recommendations for the distance of the closest PTS to the location user. Based on this, the author aims to create a WebGIS that applies the Haversine formula in the nearest PTS search feature so that it can help people who have difficulty finding information about PTS in West Java and Banten. In this case, PTS mapping uses Quantum GIS (QGIS) software which is then integrated with the mapping results on the web with Google Maps. The system development method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD) using the CodeIgniter 3 framework and system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) including Use Case Diagrams and Activity Diagrams. The system testing in this research uses Usability Testing, with system testing by users in 3 different cities. The WebGIS created by the author succeeded in providing detailed PTS information, and the Haversine formula was successfully applied in the search feature to display search results based on recommendations for the distance of the closest PTS to the user's location. This system requires location access permission on the user's device so that the system can detect the user's location as a calculation material in determining the closest distance.

Abstract

Tourism is a crucial economic sector in Indonesia, contributing significantly to economic growth and foreign exchange. In 2022, the number of domestic tourist visits reached 734.86 million, up 19.82% from the previous year. East Java recorded the most visits with 198.91 million trips, followed by West Java (128.66 million) and Central Java (103.99 million). However, tourist destinations in West Java are less well known due to a lack of information, hampering tourism potential and the development of local MSMEs. To overcome this problem, an Android-based guide application was developed that integrates information on tourist destinations and MSMEs in West Java. This application uses the Branch and Bound algorithm to facilitate the selection of the closest route from tourist sites to several MSMEs efficiently and accurately. This research identifies the lack of information as the main obstacle to tourism development in West Java. Application development and testing showed the effectiveness of the Branch and Bound algorithm in determining the closest route. The implementation of this application increases access to tourist information and MSMEs, as well as the income of local MSME players related to tourism. The application is expected to contribute positively to the development of tourism and MSMEs in West Java and become a model for the development of similar applications in other regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency made from sequence code or called blockchain, one of the cryptocurrencies is bitcoin. Prediction is a process that projects or imagines what might happen in the future based on data in the past or factors that influence the current situation. Bitcoin price prediction uses a deep learning approach with the Long Short Term Memory method. Long Short-Term Memory is a type of model from the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) algorithm, a method designed to process data and can overcome the problem of price movements that have long-term dependencies that cannot be handled by traditional RNN models, the LSTM model has the ability “Remembers” information over long periods of time, so as to recognize patterns and trends. In this study, the prediction period used a dataset from 12 December 2020 to 14 April 2024. The evaluation results for the RMSE method for train data were 17318.40 and for test data were 27921.84 and for the MAPE method for train data it was 3.24% and for test data it was 3.24%. 5.36%. This shows that the RMSE and MAPE values in the data train are relatively small because they are vulnerable to the bitcoin price being too wide.

Abstract

Social media, particularly Instagram, has become a primary platform for expressing opinions and participating in public discussions on various social, economic, and political issues. One of the prominent issues on social media is product boycotting. Boycotting a product can significantly impact the brand's image and sales. Famous brands such as McDonald’s, KFC, Starbucks, Burger King, and Pizza Hut are the main targets in boycott actions. This study uses a dataset of 1,750 comments from Instagram accounts on related products. The data is divided into two labels, positive and negative, based on automatic labeling from transformers and manual labeling. Sentiment analysis results show that McDonald’s has 41.43% positive sentiment and 58.57% negative sentiment, KFC has 85.14% positive and 14.86% negative, Starbucks has 97.71% positive and 2.29% negative, Burger King has 50% positive and negative, and Pizza Hut has 80.57% positive and 19.43% negative. Modeling results using the pre-trained Bidirectional Encoder Representation From Transformers (BERT) from Bert-Base-Uncased show accuracy results for McDonald’s products at 84.14%, KFC products at 95%, Starbucks products at 94.16%, Burger King products at 91.42%, and Pizza Hut products at 93.80%.

Abstract

Universitas Nusa Putra is committed to providing the best services to students and prospective students through the implementation of technology. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study on the digital services of the university's communication and marketing department, which designed a chatbot based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) on the WhatsApp platform. Using PHP and Python, this chatbot provides information about new student admissions as well as academic and non-academic information in Indonesian and English. Functionality testing using black-box testing and questionnaires showed that the chatbot has an accuracy rate of 90% and a user satisfaction rate of 87.9%. These results indicate a positive reception towards the chatbot technology at Universitas Nusa Putra. Further development may include integration with social media platforms and the university's website, as well as enhancements in security and privacy.

Abstract

The development of information technology has influenced how organizations provide services to users. Customer service is an activity aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction through the assistance provided by an individual in addressing issues and meeting their needs. However, in certain conditions, customer service may not be able to handle or serve customers, such as outside working hours and recurring general inquiries from users. In this context, Chatbots have become a promising solution to enhance service quality. This study aims to implement a Chatbot with a Natural Language Processing (NLP) approach and Naive Bayes classification method to improve the performance of the Mangcoding web service or PT Anugrah Kreasi Digital. The system development method in this study includes user needs analysis, Chatbot architecture design, NLP model development, and integration with existing web service platforms. The use of NLP methods is expected to improve accuracy so that the Chatbot can understand the users' natural language and provide relevant responses according to their requests. This study uses a qualitative approach to evaluate the performance of the Chatbot in enhancing web services. The results of this study are expected to improve the efficiency of web services through the implementation of a Chatbot with an NLP approach and Naive Bayes classification method, enabling the Chatbot to provide accurate answers. Additionally, it is expected to provide guidance for organizations in utilizing Chatbot technology to improve interactions with users in the context of web-based services.

Abstract

Improvements in managing agriculture are urgently needed at this time. Along with the many occurrences of crop failure due to the rainy season which causes flooding in the rice fields. The lack of supervision of the irrigation system makes the water discharge when the rainfall is high, causing the rice plants to be damaged by the flow of water. With this, it is necessary to regulate the immigration channel to prevent crop failure and flooding. Along with this problem, a prototype of an Arduino-based automatic sluice system was made. This prototype has 2 functions, the first is to regulate when the floodgates in the reservoir operate with reference to the water level using an ultrasonic sensor. The sensor signals the Arduino to be processed. The output signal from the Arduino instructs the relay to activate and makes the solenoid work to open or close the water line. The second function is to manage the reservoir which has a water gate leading to the rice field area. This floodgate works with a time setting that can be set as desired. The prototype of the floodgate in irrigation is driven by a 12V DC motor and locks the floodgate when it is opened using a servo motor. With the work of these 2 functions, it can make it easier to regulate the water level in the reservoir and the management of irrigation channels in rice fields.
