Abstract

This research aims to determine the reading skills of class IX students in improving their ability to read short stories, besides encouraging students to improve their ability to analyze literary elements in short stories. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. Data sources were obtained through observation and distribution of questionnaires, then analyzed using random sampling techniques. The results of the research show that reading ability is an important aspect in individual development, including the skills of identification, comprehension, evaluation and application of information contained in texts. A student's level of reading ability has a direct impact on success in various areas of life, including education, career, and daily life.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 has an assessment of learning in schools that includes the 3 domain of learning, which is attitude, knowledge, and skill assessment. This study aims to analyze applications in the attitude assessments found in the 2013 curriculum on SMA Negeri 1 Tajur Halang. As for the method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data drawn using interview and documentary techniques from sources working at SMA Negeri 1 Tajur Halang. Studies show that, SMA Negeri 1 Tajur Halang already undergoes good and consistent with the 2013 curriculum. Implementation of an attitude assessment is done with four stages, creating a assessment plan, establishing the technique to be used, executing an attitude assessment consistently and thoroughly, and analyzing the results of the assessment. In addition, assessments of attitudes are done with four techniques: observation, self-assessment, peer assessment, and journal assessment.

Abstract

Public Speaking is the activity of speaking to a person or group of people. Through speaking activities, a person can convey ideas, thoughts and the contents of his heart to other people. The problem here is, not everyone can speak well, especially speaking in front of many people. In this research, we will discuss efforts to improve public speaking skills through muhadharah activities. This research aims to inspire many schools to hold muhadharah activities to improve students' public speaking skills. The background of this research is based on the fact that public speaking is something that needs to be mastered, but many people are actually afraid of this activity because they cannot control their feelings of nervousness, fear and embarrassment. Through qualitative methods, this research was conducted using data obtained from the Scholar Amanah students.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the use of Canva digital media in learning Indonesian for class X vocational school students. Media in learning is an intermediary in communication, assisting in conveying messages and information from the source of the message to the recipient of the message. The use and utilization of learning media does not only come from the work of one's own hands but can come from digital media such as today. Canva is a tool in digital media that can be used as a learning medium because it includes design and online visual communication that can be used by everyone in the world and can create and publish designs that have been created anywhere and at any time. The aim of this research is to find out to what extent students and educators have used Canva digital media and how effective it is in learning Indonesian in the classroom. The results of this research show that students and educators have used Canva as a medium for learning Indonesian, both in making PowerPoint for presentations, videos, posters, and infographics contained in the Canva feature. The technique used in this research is to observe and collect data from several students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role played by parents or guardians of students at Pondok Pinang 01 Pagi State Elementary School (SDN) in supporting and involving themselves in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum. The active role of parents is considered a factor in the successful implementation of this curriculum. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Qualitative, descriptive research is a problem formulation that guides research to explore or photograph the social situation that will be studied thoroughly, broadly and in depth. The method used to obtain data is research by distributing questionnaire forms through an approach that allows researchers to collect data from respondents through written questionnaires. The results of the research show that parents are actively involved in supporting their children's learning, both through participation in learning activities at home, support for student project assignments, and through collaboration with teachers. Children who have active support and involvement from parents tend to show improved academic achievement. This support can include helping with homework, providing positive reinforcement, and motivating the child to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek Project-Based Learning pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan dukungan data kualitatif dari wawancara dan tanggapan esai, melibatkan 40 responden yang telah mengikuti perkuliahan dengan model PjBL. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara terbuka untuk menggambarkan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap efektivitas PjBL dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 90,25% mahasiswa menyatakan setuju dan sangat setuju bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, motivasi, kreativitas, serta kemampuan kolaboratif. Sebagian besar mahasiswa mengakui relevansi dan kepraktisan PjBL dalam mendukung penguasaan kompetensi abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan integrasi teori dengan praktik nyata. Namun demikian, ditemukan pula beberapa tantangan, antara lain variasi keterlibatan dosen sebagai fasilitator serta perbedaan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap tujuan dan mekanisme proyek. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka yang dipadukan dengan model PjBL dinilai efektif dan kontekstual, mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar, kemandirian, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, dengan catatan perlu penguatan pada peran dosen, desain proyek, dan pendampingan belajar yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Children with special needs are children who have unique characteristics compared to (regular) children. To facilitate learning progress, teachers can apply a differentiated learning model. Differentiated learning is one of the learning models where teachers use a variety of different learning methods according to the characteristics, interests, learning styles, and abilities of students. The purpose of this study is to find out more about differentiated learning and how it is implemented in Class VIII Special Schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collection methods used were observation, interview, and note-taking. The data subjects in this research are teachers and students of class VIII of SMPLB Insan Mulia Tangerang Regency. The research location is in Pisangan Jaya village, Tangerang Regency. The result of the learning that has been implemented is the discovery of 3 strategies in differentiated learning, Content Differentiation. Content refers to the curriculum and learning materials; 2. Process Differentiation. How students process ideas and information; 3. Product Differentiation. How students demonstrate what they have learned; 4. Differentiation of Learning environment. Differentiated learning has a positive impact on student engagement and learning outcomes, so students do not struggle with learning.

Abstract

Learning during the pandemic is changing from face-to-face to distance learning (PJJ). The system changes learning, including Indonesian language in universities, which has an impact on students and lecturers. For this reason, in addition to being supported by adequate infrastructure, PJJ must use an appropriate model so that learning is effective so that learning objectives are achieved. During the pandemic, Indonesian language learning at the Universtas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran  Jakarta used the project based learning model. With this model, not only learning becomes effective but also increases student creativity so that they can produce various products in the form of writings in scientific publications and various mass media articles. Each student is not only able to write one article but two or three articles during the lesson. This model is expected to continue to be used and developed so that Indonesian language learning becomes interesting and of high quality. AbstrakPembelajaran selama pandemi mengubah dari tatap muka langsung menjadi PJJ (Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh). Perubahan tersebut mengubah sistem pembelajaran termasuk bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi yang berdampak pada mahasiswa dan dosen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif sebab kreativitas mahasiswa didorong untuk menghasilkan berbagai produk tulisan yang bisa dipublikasikan di media massa. Melalui PJJ selama pandemi, maka project based learning menjadi model yang tepat dalam melakukan metode penelitian di Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua mahasiswa bisa mempublikasikan produk tulisannya berupa artikel selama pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, ketersediaan infrastruktur pada perguruan tinggi ini dapat mewujudkan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi menjadi lebih berkualitas.
