Abstract

This research discusses efforts to introduce cognitive learning theory into the 2013 curriculum in the educational environment. Her research focus is on understanding how key principles of cognitive learning theory, including concepts such as information processing, knowledge construction, and the development of higher-order thinking skills, can be integrated into new curriculum structures. Research methods include analysis of official 2013 curriculum documents, interviews with teachers, and observation of classroom learning practices. The results show that although real efforts have been made to adopt the principles of cognitive learning theory, their implementation still faces certain challenges. Limited resources, teacher understanding of cognitive concepts, and adaptation of learning materials are several important factors that influence successful implementation. Therefore, this research provides recommendations for improving teacher training, adapting learning materials, and increasing resource support so that the 2013 curriculum more effectively achieves students' cognitive learning goals.

Abstract

This study investigates the interest of students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program (PBSI) at UIN Jakarta regarding the SQ3R method (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) for completing academic assignments. The research aims to assess students' interest in using SQ3R, their perceptions of its benefits for academic tasks, and their tendency to apply this method in academic reading. The research uses a descriptive survey design with a quantitative approach. A questionnaire was distributed to 42 students from the 2023 cohort, measuring three aspects of interest: (1) interest in SQ3R, (2) perceived benefits in academic tasks, and (3) tendency to apply the method. The results showed a high level of interest in the SQ3R method, with 97.6% of respondents expressing interest in understanding it more deeply and using it for academic tasks. Furthermore, students perceived SQ3R as an effective tool for improving reading and writing outcomes, with 95.2% agreeing that it helped them prepare academic papers. The study concludes that SQ3R is a well-received and beneficial method, though consistent application remains a challenge.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze language errors in beauty product advertisements on the Instagram account of MS Glow Beauty. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through screenshots of various advertisement posts from the account. The analysis focused on identifying spelling errors, grammatical inaccuracies, and language interference within the advertisement content. The findings revealed significant language errors, including inappropriate word usage, incorrect sentence structures, and inconsistent mixing of Indonesian and English.
