Abstract

This research attempted to observe team learning from the level of team diversity and team efficacy of work teams. This research used an individual level of analysis rather than the group level. The team members measured the level of team diversity, team efficacy and team learning of the teams through three scales, namely team learning scale, team diversity scale, and team efficacy scale. Respondents in this research were the active team members in a company, PT. Alkindo Mitraraya. The total of the respondents were 70. Collected data were examined by using multiple regression analysis. Based on the hypothesis, it can be concluded that the team diversity and team efficacy can be used as indicators to predict the arousal of team learning level in teams (fcount = 5.924; p=0.004 or p < 0.05) and the value of adjusted r square = 0.125. Moreover, the result demonstrated that team diversity made a significant contribution to team learning level (r = 0.105; p < 0.05) while on the other hand, team efficacy did not affect team learning significantly. The equation of the regression line for team learning on team diversity and team efficacy was team learning = 30.362 + (0.377 team diversity) + (0.187 team efficacy). Suggested areas for future research were to confirm this research model using the team level analysis, to thoroughly determine the type of teams and to do research in the self‐managed team‐based organizations.

Abstract

Perusahaan dituntut memiliki pengelolaan yang baik agar mampu bersaing dalam dunia industri dan salah satu hal yang paling penting dalam suatu organisasi atau perusahaan yaitu keberadaan Sumber Daya Manusia sebagai karyawan. Karyawan yang bekerja hendaknya memiliki engagement pada pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan positif antara supervisory coaching behaviour dengan work engagement pada salesperson. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang salesperson yang diambil dengan metode accidental sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala supervisory coaching behaviour (r= 0,899) dan skala work engagement (r = 0,861). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara supervisory coaching behaviour dengan work engagement pada salesperson. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rxy= 0,278 (p<0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of emotional intelligence on communication anxiety as a negative predictor that can reduce communication barriers in organizations. Communication anxiety creates a threat to the quality of organizational communication, which makes the exchange of messages ineffective, resulting in the organization not being productive enough at work. This study involved 120 bank employees in North Sumatra collected by accidental sampling technique. The data obtained were processed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study also show that the majority of research subjects have moderate emotional intelligence and moderate communication anxiety. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kecerdasan emosional terhadap kecemasan komunikasi sebagai prediktor negatif yang dapat mengurangi hambatan komunikasi dalam organisasi. Kecemasan komunikasi menciptakan ancaman terhadap kualitas komunikasi organisasi, yang membuat pertukaran pesan tidak efektif, sehingga organisasi tidak cukup produktif dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini melibatkan 120 pegawai bank di Sumatera Utara yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik accidental sampling. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas subjek penelitian memiliki kecerdasan emosional sedang dan kecemasan komunikasi sedang.

Abstract

The purposeof thisstudy wasto examine the employee’s anxiety in facing assessment centers based on the big fivepersonality and perceptions of organizational support. The subjects of this studywere 241 telecommunication employees with position sequel to assistant manager. Data were collected using assessment centre anxiety scale, big five inventory and organizational support scale. The statistic a analysis showed that assessment centre anxiety was negatively related to the trait of extraversion, openness to experience, and organizational support and positively to neuroticism and conscientiousness. The implication of this study is that the role of organizational support is crucial in improving employee’s conviction and confidence in facing assessment centre.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze whether the psychological contract affects the job satisfaction of employees of PT Bank Mandiri Unit Retail Collection Recovery Medan. Does the work climate affect employee job satisfaction. Does the psychological contract affect employee deviant behavior. Does the work climate affect employees' deviant behavior. Does job satisfaction affect employees' deviant behavior. Does the psychological contract affect employee deviant behavior through job satisfaction at. Does the work climate affect employees' deviant behavior through job satisfaction on. This study used a quantitative method involving 42 respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The results showed that the psychological contract had a significant effect on employee satisfaction at PT Bank Mandiri Unit Retail Collection Recovery Medan. Work climate has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Bank Mandiri Unit Retail Collection Recovery Medan. The psychological contract has a significant effect on deviant behavior of PT Bank Mandiri Unit Retail Collection Recovery Medan employees. Work climate has a significant effect on deviant behavior of PT Bank Mandiri Unit Retail Collection Recovery Medan employees. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors affecting employee engagement in innovation at PT Telkom Indonesia Wilayah Medan and formulate strategies to enhance it. The research methodology employs The Strategy Formulation Analytical Framework, including the Input Stage, Matching Stage, and Decision Stage. Data was collected through questionnaires completed by 43 employees, through interviews, and focus group discussions. The analysis revealed 20 internal factors (9 strengths and 11 weaknesses) and 20 external factors (9 opportunities and 11 threats) influencing employee engagement in innovation. From these findings, 10 strategies were formulated, and through focus group discussions, 5 key strategies were prioritized for implementation: providing dedicated time and space for innovation activities during working hours, adjusting workloads and tasks to include innovative activities, enhancing personal responsibility and innovative solutions with access to the latest technology, strengthening cross-departmental collaboration, and promoting a proactive sharing and implementation culture of innovative ideas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at PT Telekomunikasi Seluler Region Sumbagut. The background of this research underscores the importance of understanding and enhancing organizational culture and work motivation to improve employee job satisfaction, particularly in telecommunication companies operating in a highly competitive and dynamic business environment. Organizational culture is measured through dimensions such as agility, customer centricity, innovation, open mindset, networking, and meritocracy, while work motivation is measured using Alderfer's ERG Theory, which includes the dimensions of existence, relatedness, and growth. Employee job satisfaction is measured using psychological, social, physical, and financial dimensions. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, with respondents comprising all employees of PT Telekomunikasi Seluler Region Sumbagut. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis includes normality tests, multicollinearity tests, F-tests, t-tests, and the determination coefficient (R-Square). The results show that organizational culture and work motivation have a positive and significant impact on employee job satisfaction. These two variables simultaneously contribute significantly to the improvement of employee job satisfaction, emphasizing that effective management of organizational culture and appropriate motivational strategies are key to enhancing employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to obtain empirical evidence and conduct an analysis of the impact of Knowledge Management Implementation on Employee Performance within the Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Division at PT Prima Multi Peralatan. This research adopts a quantitative, survey-based approach employing an associative method. The study population consists of all employees within the RTG Division at PT Prima Multi Peralatan, located at the Belawan Container Terminal, totaling 58 individuals, with the sample size comprising the entire population (census sampling). Data collection was conducted directly by the researcher through observations, the administration of structured questionnaires, and the review of relevant documentation. This study employs a quantitative descriptive methodology, with data analysis designed to test the hypotheses and address the research questions posed. The data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 3 software.

Abstract

The Goal of this research is to find out the impact of Emotional Branding and Consumer Satisfaction towards Consumer Loyalty on Tokopedia Consumer in Medan City. This research uses quantitative method with multiple regression model. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that Emotional Branding affects Consumer Loyalty (p<0.001; p<0.005) with a calculated t value greater than the t table value (4.178> 1.970). In addition, the analysis shows that consumer satisfaction also affects customer loyalty (p < 0.001; p < 0.005) with a calculated t value greater than the t table value (9.588> 1.970). Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that Emotional branding has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Loyalty to Tokopedia Consumers in Medan City. The results also concluded that Consumer Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Loyalty. Therefore, Tokopedia need to improve their consumer satisfaction, and improving their marketing strategy using Emotional Branding so that they can grow more loyal consumer in City.
