Abstract

The Independent Campus is a new breakthrough from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) in 2023, this program allows students to be able to gain knowledge apart from being in college, there are many activities launched in this program, one of which is Internship and Independent Study (MSIB). In the MSIB activity which was carried out from February to June 2023, the author participated in the Independent Study activity at PT Kinema Systrans Multimedia whose activities were managed by the Sub Company, namely Infinite Learning, with the title of the activity namely Mobile and Development, the activity lasted for 5 months from February 2023 to June 2023, divided into two sessions, namely the morning session and the afternoon session. Activities carried out during the Independent Study are learning soft skills that are useful in the world of work, such as professional ethics and professional self-branding. In addition, there is also mastery of hard skills such as team project management, Android application development, After the Micro Challenge is finished, it will be followed by the second stage, namely the Macro Challenge. The arrangement of groups for this stage will be determined by the mentor based on his policies. Finally, there is the Massive is invaluable because I can learn about important things in the professional world.

Abstract

Design is the process of planning and designing an object with the aim that the object has a function, aesthetic value and is useful for humans. Design involves the creative process of designing something so as to create something functional for its users. Multimedia is the use of computers to present and combine text, sound, images, animation, audio and video with tools. In multimedia there are many fields and types that can be studied. There is such a thing as graphic design, videography, photography, animation and so on. In this case the author is working on "Classic Modern Home Design with Multimedia-Based AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Abstract

Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in children, especially in developing countries. Choosing the appropriate treatment protocol is crucial to ensure the effectiveness of therapy and prevent complications. This study develops a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Weighted Product (WP) method to assist healthcare professionals in determining the appropriate pneumonia treatment protocol for children based on clinical conditions. The system takes into account various criteria, such as the severity of pneumonia, patient age, nutritional status, the presence of comorbidities, and the response to initial treatment. The test results show that this system can provide accurate and consistent recommendations in accordance with current clinical guidelines. Therefore, this DSS can be an effective tool to improve the quality of clinical decision-making. Abstract

The Go Green policy aims to create environmental, social and economic sustainability through better management of natural resources and technology. Decision making in implementing the Go Green policy requires a method that can handle various interrelated criteria. One effective method is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), which allows the selection of policy alternatives by taking into account the main factors systematically and objectively. This research applies the AHP method to evaluate Go Green policy alternatives based on four main criteria: environmental, economic, social and technological sustainability. The analysis results show that the use of renewable energy is the best policy that can support the implementation of Go Green with a score of 0.50.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of digital technology brings both conveniences and challenges for children. Excessive gadget use can negatively impact children’s physical, psychological, and social well-being. The community service programme "Education on the Dangers of Gadgets and Kindness Festival" aims to provide education about the dangers of excessive gadget use while introducing various healthy and enjoyable alternative activities. The method applied was participatory and educational through counselling, educational games, traditional games, and a kindness festival. The results showed an increase in children’s awareness of the negative impacts of gadgets and their interest in engaging in beneficial non-gadget activities. This activity is expected to become a preventive effort to reduce children's dependence on gadgets in the digital era.            Keywords: children's activities; educational gadgets; kindness festival; educational games; community service.  Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital membawa kemudahan sekaligus tantangan bagi anak-anak. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial anak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat “Edukasi Bahaya Gadget dan Festival Kebaikan” bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang bahaya penggunaan gadget berlebihan sekaligus mengenalkan berbagai aktivitas alternatif yang sehat dan menyenangkan. Metode yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif dan edukatif melalui penyuluhan, permainan edukatif, permainan tradisional, dan festival kebaikan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran anak-anak tentang dampak negatif gadget serta tumbuhnya ketertarikan terhadap aktivitas non-gadget yang bermanfaat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi preventif dalam menekan ketergantungan anak terhadap gadget di era digital. Kata kunci: aktivitas anak; edukasi gadget; festival kebaikan; permainan edukatif; pengabdian masyarakat

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Bimbingan Belajar Bless dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi sistem operasional melalui pendekatan analisis proses bisnis. Lembaga bimbingan belajar sebagai penyedia jasa pendidikan memiliki alur operasional yang kompleks, meliputi proses pendaftaran siswa, pengelolaan kelas, sistem pembayaran, hingga manajemen pengajar. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada mitra adalah adanya beberapa proses manual yang mengakibatkan terjadinya keterlambatan, duplikasi data, serta kurang optimalnya koordinasi antar bagian. Untuk itu, tim pelaksana melakukan observasi, wawancara, serta analisis alur bisnis yang sedang berjalan guna mengidentifikasi titik lemah dan peluang perbaikan. Hasil analisis kemudian dijadikan dasar dalam memberikan rekomendasi sistem yang lebih efisien dan terintegrasi, termasuk usulan penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam manajemen data dan komunikasi. Melalui pendampingan ini, mitra memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai pentingnya dokumentasi alur kerja, standarisasi prosedur, serta penerapan sistem berbasis digital untuk mendukung operasional harian. Dampak dari kegiatan ini terlihat pada peningkatan efektivitas pengelolaan administrasi, berkurangnya beban kerja manual, dan terbentuknya rencana strategis pengembangan sistem yang berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memperkuat kapasitas manajerial lembaga bimbingan belajar, sekaligus mendukung peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan yang lebih profesional dan efisien.

Abstract

At this time the utilization of science and technology is developing very quickly and producing new innovations that must be balanced with the ability to adapt to these technologies. One of these fields is a decision support system that can assist in decision-making. SDS Balerina is an educational institution in Medan. SDS Balerina has conducted assessment activities to determine the best teacher, but the assessment has not produced maximum results because all teachers are said to be good, all of them are equal, no one distinguishes their degrees, the results of the assessment are not announced to the teacher concerned, only the principal knows about it and does the assessment. However, what determines this decision-making is the decision-maker himself because the system is only an alternative decision. The final decision is still determined by the decision maker, namely the school principal.

Abstract

Data is indispensable in the decision-making system process. Good and appropriate decisions require accurate, fast, and relevant data. The decision support system for determining employee leave at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Medan City still uses a simple method that is only considered by the general subdivision and its leadership without following the existing criteria standards, which is very inefficient for employees who have to wait for leave approval from their leaders. The method used in this decision support system for determining employee leave is the Multi-Objective Optimisation On The Basis Of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method and system development using the waterfall model. In implementing and designing the program using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language with the database used MySQL. The final results obtained from this research are A8 on behalf of Rabiah with the highest rank with a value of 0.2913 and A2 on behalf of Artha with the lowest rank with a value of 0,1338.

Abstract

Web-based Best Student Decision Making System is an application developed to assist in the decision-making process in selecting the best students. With the Web-based best student decision-making system, the decision-making process becomes more efficient, transparent, and objective. This system can integrate student data from various sources, such as academic records, attendance data, test results, and other information. In addition, this system can also apply predetermined decision-making methods, such as the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. By using this system, decision makers can easily access and analyse student data comprehensively. They can also see the results of ranking the best students based on relevant criteria. This allows decision-makers to make more objective and informed decisions in the selection of the best students. The design of this application is made using PHP version 8 programming language and MySQL as the database. With this application, it can make it easier to make decisions on determining the best students.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget di kalangan anak usia dini semakin meningkat, memerlukan perhatian khusus dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program edukasi gadget berbasis multimedia di Sanggar Keadilan SMH-Indonesia. Program ini dirancang untuk mengajarkan penggunaan gadget secara bijak dan positif, dengan memanfaatkan alat bantu multimedia interaktif yang menarik perhatian anak-anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam program edukasi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak tentang penggunaan gadget yang sehat, serta mendorong keterlibatan mereka dalam aktivitas edukatif yang bermakna. Selain itu, program ini juga membantu mengurangi ketergantungan anak terhadap penggunaan gadget untuk hiburan semata. Implementasi program ini memberikan wawasan baru bagi para pendidik dan orang tua tentang pentingnya pengelolaan penggunaan teknologi pada anak usia dini.
