Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has been proactively addressed by Muhammadiyah. Muhammadiyah has modernized da'wah methods by utilizing ICT technology in every activity, but it is still limited to media commonly used by the public such as social media, the web on the Internet, and so on, so that it is still limited, partial, and has not been systematic and structured ally serves its people and is constrained in monitoring and evaluation. The use of web based systems can be a solution to develop locations or e-da'wah based on geography while answering problems in the management and branch of the Muhammadiyah region in monitoring and evaluating its activities. The research method used is to use quantitative methods to obtain primary data to find out the user's desire for e-da'wah in Muhammadiyah citizens while the observation method and survey questionnaire are used to evaluate the acceptance of Muhammadiyah member users to the use of e-da'wah applications that have been made. This research aims to design a framework for the concept of web-based e-da'wah applications. As a result, the e-da'wah application model developed on a web-based basis has received responses from 57% of respondents who find it easy to understand the studies presented in this e-da'wah media.

Abstract

The development of automation techniques has an impact on conveniences in people's lives. Nowadays people are busy with all activities and often make the condition of the house, especially the control of electricity and electronics in the house, less attentive, causing waste. This study aims to design a system for monitoring and controlling household electronic equipment with a web-based smart home system. The method used is sometimes an experimental method by implementing nodemcu ESP8266 as a processor to monitor and control household appliances with a website interface as a page for setting and controlling it. It is hoped that this system can make a reference for the development of other automation systems and can be used for energy saving models in the future.

Abstract

The availability of blood stocks at the Indonesian Red Cross or Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) is a must and absolute for institutions that organize the procurement and distribution of blood for medical purposes. The problem is that the blood stock in PMI Magelang City Branch is not ideally available in each blood type, especially blood type AB, which in recent years has been very minimal and difficult to obtain. The purpose of this study was to predict blood stock of type AB with software based on artificial neural networks backpropagation and Coherent tissues. Artificial Neural Network (JST) backpropagation is used to predict the stock supply of blood type AB. Meanwhile, Coherent is a network used to divide input patterns into groups. The application has a network structure consisting of 2 input neurons, 10 neurons in the hidden layer, and 1 and 1 neuron in the output layer. The total amount of data is 3 years (2015-2017), 2 years of data are used for training data, and 1 year of data is used for testing data. The engine predicts using a maximum iteration of 1,000 epochs, an expletive constant of 0.5, a momentum of 0.9, and a minimum error rate of 0.001. With variations in the value of the backpropagation component, a prediction of less than 140 bags per year is generated. Meanwhile, the resulting weight is predicted by the Coherent method and produces a prediction of the production of type AB blood stocks per month. Based on the results against 3 years of test data, the percentage of the system accuracy rate is 100%. The reduction of learning constants and the addition of training data systems may affect the accuracy of the system in making predictions.

Abstract

Kabupaten Magelang adalah salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang memiliki potensi pertanian yang sangat tinggi. Dengan tingkat kesuburan tanah yang sangat baik dan di dukung oleh iklim yang memadai maka usaha pertanian di Kabupaten Magelang sangat berkembang dangan baik, salah satunya adalah para petani di Kecamatan Windusari yang sebagian besar melakukan budidaya tembakau, sekarang beralih ke budidaya ubi jalar. Meskipun demikian, budidaya ubi jalar sebagai komoditas pengganti tembakau belum dapat diusahakan secara optimal. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan melakukan kerjasama dengan Kecamatan Windusari melalui Program Desa Binaan dengan tujuan mendampingi para petani untuk mengembangkan usaha agribisnis ubi jalar, sehingga komoditas ubi jalar dapat menjadi produk unggulan Kecamatan Windusari. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah metode pemberdayaan masyarakat partisipatif yaitu pendekatan dalam proses pemberdayaan dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, yang tekanannya pada keterlibatan petani dan anggota masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dapat berlangsung sesuai harapan, harapannya peserta dapat mengimplementasikan dalam pengembangan usaha budidaya agribisnis ubi jalar yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani.

Abstract

Distance learning (online) is currently a learning tool that plays an important role during this pandemic, one of which is affected, namely in the field of education at Muhammadiyah Innovative Elementary School Pujotomo Magelang. The difficulty experienced by teachers and students is in the online learning system which uses a lot of media platforms such as Quizziz, Google Classroom, Youtube etc. so that material data, assignments and grades for each subject will be easily mixed and lost. This makes it difficult for students to find material data and past assignments, while teachers find it difficult to find data on assignments that have been collected and quiz scores that have been done by students because there is no copy of the data. E-learning is a learning media that really helps teachers and students in carrying out the teaching and learning process. The asynchronous e-learning method is a means for teachers and students to interact such as giving materials, assignments, quizzes, attendance and giving grades so that teachers and students can easily find data according to their subjects. The results of the asynchronous e-learning test using blackbox testing went well, did not experience any errors. Subsequent testing using UAT with several users, namely admin with 97%, teachers 91%, and grade 1 students 93% it can be concluded that the user's needs have been met.

Abstract

Kerajinan yang dibuat oleh warga Dusun Dalangan dijual di sekitar daerah wisata Candi Borobudur. Selain tujuan memperoleh keuntungan, kerajinan bambu ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan keunikan karya lokal Indonesia kepada para turis asing maupun lokal yang berkunjung ke Candi Borobudur. Akan tetapi permasalahn sekarang timbul yaitu obyek wisata Candi Borobudur dittp akibat adanya pandemic covid-19. Pelaku usaha mengalami penuruan omset dan terancam kelangsungan hidupnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengadian ini adalah memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan bagi UMKM di Dusun Dalangan tentang pemanfaatan internet untuk pemasaran online dengan marketplace. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisai, pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada pekalu UMKM agar masyarakat dapat menambah wawasan dan praktek sekaligus mengimplementasi pemasaran digital di usahanya. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini masyarakat mampu melakukan pengembangan usaha melalui pemanfaatan teknologi internet dan marketplace sehingga harapan kedepan bisa menjadi solusi yang tepat kedepan dalam memasarkan hasil produksi kerajinan bukan hanya untuk meningkatkan omset tetapi juga memperkenalkan produk kerajinan bamboo secara luas ke dunia internasional.

Abstract

The admission of new students is a crucial stage in the administrative process of higher education institutions. An efficient system and good User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) design in the process of admitting new students are very important to create a positive academic environment. This study aims to design an optimal UI/UX on mobile device-based new student admissions systems at Muhamadiyah University of Magelang (UNIMMA). The method used is design thinking which includes analysis of user needs, problems, ideation, prototyping, and testing. The results of this study are the UI/UX design of the Unimma New Student Admissions (PMB) application based on mobile devices. The results of the tests conducted show that the design of the PMB UI/UX application using the design thinking method is able to improve the quality of the user experience in using the UNIMMA PMB application. This is evidenced by the results of usability testing which shows a significant increase in user satisfaction with the application. The test results use data based on user perceptions obtained through surveys, interviews and observations of prospective new students and related stakeholders. It is hoped that the results of this research will contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of the user experience in the UNIMMA new admissions system. This research can also provide guidance and reference for other tertiary institutions in designing a mobile device-based new admissions system with a design thinking approach.

Abstract

The development of the internet has created a new means of entertainment, namely online games. Problems in learning motivation among students can be related to addiction to playing online games. This can be seen from students who often play games both during the lecture process and when they have finished studying. The problem with learning motivation is that there are students who experience a decline in achievement and experience problems with their personality, so this research aims to group students who play games according to the duration of playing games and the duration of studying. This research uses the K-Modes Clustering method to analyze the relationship between game addiction and learning motivation based on the duration spent playing games and studying. Data obtained through an online questionnaire survey of Muhammadiyah University of Magelang students includes information about the time students spend playing games and studying. The results of analysis on 90 student data using the k-modes clustering algorithm obtained good clustering results. The number of clusters produced was 2 clusters with cluster 1 totaling 63 members while cluster 2 had 27 members with a Cost value of 323. The results of clustering on game playing data required determining optimal clusters so this research used the Elbow method which obtained the optimal number of clusters of 6 clusters. with a cost value of 250. Apart from that, the clustering results were analyzed by looking at the distance from each cluster using the Silhouette Score whose value was 0.1531955 and the relationship between variables using a matrix obtained negative results.

Abstract

In December 2019, SARS-CoV-2 caused the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to spread to all countries, infecting thousands of people and causing death. COVID-19 causes mild illness in most cases, although it can make some people seriously ill. Therefore, vaccines are in various phases of clinical progress, and some of them have been approved for national use. The current state of affairs reveals that there is a critical need for a quick and timely solution to the need for a Covid-19 vaccine. Non-clinical methods such as data mining and machine learning techniques can help to do this. This study will focus on US COVID-19 Vaccination Advances using Machine learning classification algorithms and Using Geospatial analysis to visualize the results. The paper's findings indicate which algorithm is better for a given data set. Naive Bayes algorithm is used to run tests on real world data, and is used to analyze and draw conclusions. Period of Accuracy and performance, and it was found that Naive Bayes is very superior in terms of time and accuracy.

Abstract

Slondok is a popular snack from Magelang, made from cassava and characterized by its crispy, salty, sweet, and spicy flavors. Despite its popularity, there are a limited number of slondok-producing micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in Magelang. One such enterprise, Slondok Aredo, located in Tidar Sawe, still operates with traditional methods in its production process, marketing, and business management. This traditional approach has limited the enterprise's ability to achieve optimal business growth and improve the welfare of its owners. To address these challenges, this community empowerment initiative provides assistance to the MSE through an appropriate technology intervention. Through a combination of socialization, training, hands-on practice, and continuous mentoring, the MSE has implemented several changes that have significantly impacted its business development. These improvements include the adoption of an automatic mixer for the marination process, the use of a sealing machine for product packaging, the creation of a more ergonomic frying furnace, the implementation of a bookkeeping application, and the expansion of marketing efforts through social media. Additionally, the payment system was modernized with the introduction of QRIS for consumer transactions.
