Abstract

Background:  The need to increase the mastery of Information and Computer Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning activities is essential and urgent, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The PowerPoint application is a popular application for creating learning content, but most teachers are only at the level of "powerpointers". SMK Negeri Windusari, as a vocational high school, requires an increase in the level of its educators, namely those who can increase learning outcomes, one of which is by developing multimedia content based on PowerPoint. This training was in collaboration with UNIMMA Informatics Engineering. It was attended by twenty-four teachers starting with a pre-test and ending with a post-test to measure the level of success. Contribution: Improving the quality of content to support learning outcomes. Method:  The training on the use of ICT for learning begins with observation through a pre-test and ends with a presentation of the training results, and then measures progress using a post-test. Results:  The results of the training showed that most of the  participants showed improvement. Conclusion:  This training is expected to be sustainable as a form of support for improving the quality of learning content

Abstract

Customer knowledge is a valuable asset, and gathering, managing, and sharing customer knowledge can be a useful competitive activity for organizations. Successful knowledge partnerships with essential and valuable customers can strengthen business performance and create an absolute competitive advantage that is difficult for competitors to emulate. In consumer knowledge management, companies often experience significant obstacles or constraints so that sometimes many companies prevent them from managing consumer knowledge. The company or organization depends on consumers who do not need to understand the industrial field of the company or organization. This paper discusses the comparison of the application of customer knowledge management in various industries. Research findings that all organizations must apply the three essential components of customer-related knowledge within the underlying conceptual framework. Three basic components of customer-related knowledge within a basic conceptual framework: knowledge for customers, knowledge of customers, and customer knowledge, cannot be eliminated. This proves the compatibility with previous studies. In fact, to succeed, they must be applied so that it is of value to the company. Implementation of the framework can present a great opportunity for the organization or company to make new products so that this will improve the performance of the company or organization and maintain the continuity of the company or organization.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process is a process that involves participants and educators. The teaching and learning process will be successful if there is interaction between the two parties. Along with the development of information technology, especially the internet in information systems, the teaching and learning process has utilized information technology both from elementary, secondary and higher education levels. Especially for higher education which requires students to be more independent and active in the learning process, information technology is considered very helpful for students. As one of the information technology-based universities, STIKOM Bali utilizes e-learning to support the learning process. Lecturers and students are required to use and utilize e-learning as a means to share information related to lecture materials, assignments, quizzes, discussion forums and others. One of the goals of implementing e-learning in lectures is to increase student learning motivation so that learning achievement will be better. It is also hoped that students will be more interested in the lecture process. One of the things that affect student learning motivation is learning media. The learning media referred to in this study is e-learning learning media. The long and stable application of e-learning at STIKOM Bali is thought to be one of the drivers of student learning motivation. The research method used in this research is problem definition, data collection, data analysis and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with H1 hypothesis regression with a significance value of 0.000 and a t-count of 4.015 proven, so that it is concluded that according to STIKOM Bali students e-learning affects student learning motivation.

Abstract

The development of automation techniques has an impact on conveniences in people's lives. Nowadays people are busy with all activities and often make the condition of the house, especially the control of electricity and electronics in the house, less attentive, causing waste. This study aims to design a system for monitoring and controlling household electronic equipment with a web-based smart home system. The method used is sometimes an experimental method by implementing nodemcu ESP8266 as a processor to monitor and control household appliances with a website interface as a page for setting and controlling it. It is hoped that this system can make a reference for the development of other automation systems and can be used for energy saving models in the future.

Abstract

Student admission is one of the processes that exist in educational institutions. Schools accept students by selecting grades, achievements, and other factors. SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Mertoyudan located in Magelang Regency conducts semi-manual PPDB by compiling ledger records and spreadsheets. The school has difficulty getting PPDB historical data and PPDB reporting. Besides the CPDB has difficulty monitoring registration data directly. The PPDB application is developed with the Code Igniter framework with main features that can be accessed by 3 actors (PPDB manager, CPDB and admin). Applications can store historical data, provide convenience with all forms of custom PPDB reporting and can be accessed online by CPDB and CPDB trustees. From the results of the user acceptance test carried out on schools and CPDB, an assessment of 84.8% was obtained which showed that respondents were satisfied with the functionality of the online PPDB application.

Abstract

Tempe gembus is made from tofu dregs which are fermented by tempe mushrooms rhizopus sp. Fermentation process of tempe gembus using conventional method takes 2 days 1 night/about 36-48 hours with temperatures between 25oC-35oC, humidity 60-80%. To maintain temperature and humidity stability by covering the cloth and opening the cloth. This research will discuss how to maintain temperature and humidity automatically using the ESP8266 microcontroller which controls the temperature and humidity sensors using DHT11. When the temperature is below 35 °C the system will perform an automatic action in the form of a light on. When the temperature is above 35 °C, the system will automatically turn on the fan until the temperature returns to normal. The output of this system is displayed on thingspeak and can be seen through thingsview which can be accessed via a smartphone by utilizing the wireless features found on the ESP8266. Tempe gembus fermentation is strongly influenced by the temperature and humidity of the fermentation room. The test results show that using an automatic control system is 16 hours faster than conventional methods.

Abstract

Aquascape is a new thing that is very popular in this pandemic era, the number of people who are interested in making this aquascape creates a fairly large business opportunity during this pandemic. The business of selling aquascape accessories has quite a big opportunity because of the many enthusiasts in making aquascapes. Sansaquaman is one of the shops engaged in the sale of aquascape accessories. The large number of buyers of goods in this store has resulted in several problems, such as employee errors in entering goods, calculating the stock of goods and also in ordering to suppliers. Therefore, there is a need for a system to overcome some of the problems that exist in the Sansaquaman store in order to minimize human errors, errors in calculating inventory stock and ordering goods to suppliers. In this study using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, so that in making the system it can be in accordance with user requests and in a short time. In this study also used 2 tests, namely the User Aceptance Test (UAT) and blackbox with the results of the User Aceptance Test from 3 users, namely 95% employees, 93% suppliers and 92% operators, while the black-box test got a value of 100%.

Abstract

With advances in information technology, the banking industry has experienced major changes in providing banking services. The Core banking system is the basis for modern banking operations, enabling banks to integrate important functions such as account management, transaction processing, risk management and financial reporting. However, based on the results of observations and interviews, application users still feel uncomfortable when using it. Therefore, researchers have developed several ideas and solutions as a guide in designing the Core banking system application user interface. One of the ideas and solutions generated is to focus on improving the user experience by updating the appearance of the application to make it more attractive and responsive, as well as arranging a more efficient navigation menu layout. This research focuses on the application of Design Thinking as a comprehensive thinking approach to achieve the desired solution. This research was conducted through several stages of Design Thinking, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The results of the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) show an average value of 2.23. Four parameters in the "Excellent" zone, the other two in the "Good" and "Above Average" categories. Overall, this research shows a good improvement in user experience
