Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, Loan To Deposit Ratio, and economic growth of the Non-Performing Loan in Rural Bank of West Sumatra.The type of data in this research is secondary data that is both quantitative and Time Series Data from the years 2005-2013. Data were analyzed with regression methods and estimation OLS (Ordinary Least Square).The results showed that: (1) inflation is not a significant negative effect on the Bank's Non-Performing Loan Rural West Sumatera (2) Loan To Deposit Ratio was not significant positive effect on Non-Performing Loans in the Bank Rural West Sumatera  (3) economic growth significant negative effect on Non-Performing Loans in the Rural Bank of West Sumatra, (4) inflation, Loan To Deposit Ratio and economic growth together significant effect on Non-Performing Loans in the Rural Bank of WestKeywords : Inflation, Loan To Deposit Ratio, economic growth.

Abstract

This research purpose are to the analyse the influence of long-term and short-term internal factor variables (interest rates of Indonesia Bank and Indonesia national income) and external factor variables ( net exports of Indonesia, US foreign interest rate and US foreign inflation) to the rupiah exchange rate against dollar in Indonesia. Methods that being used are Error Correction Model (ECM), the estimation result show that (1) in short-term interest rates of Indonesia, Indonesian national income and net exports in Indonesia caused shocks to the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar in Indonesia, (2) on the long-term national income of Indonesia, US foreign interest rate, and US foreign inflation has a significant influence on the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar, (3) in the short-term the US foreign interest rate and US foreign inflation does not cause a shock to the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of age, marital status, level of education, area of residence, number of dependents, family expenses, and head of household status on the probability variable of women choose to be a working women in West Sumatra Province. This is descriptive and associative research, where the data used is secondary data in the form of cross-section data. The data was from national socioeconomic survey in 2016. By using logistic regression, the results of this study show that the variables of age, marital status, level of education, and number of dependents have a positive and significant effect on probability of women working in West Sumatra, while the variable area of residence has a negative and significant influence on probability of women working in West Sumatra province.

Abstract

Carbondioxyde emission is kind of green house gases that has highest concentration in he atmosphere than the ohers green house gases. The aim of this research is that analyzing influence of industry sector, mining sector, and transportation sector avtivities to the environment quality base on the carbondioxyde emission in Indonesia. This analysis used regression model with Ordinary Least Square method (OLS). Result of analysis indicate that Gross Domestic Product  (GDP) of industry sector has negative and significant  influence to carbondioxyde emission in Indonesia, with  significant value at 0.00,  Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of mining sector has positive and significant influence to carbondioxyde emission in Indonesia with significant value at 0.00 and Gross Domestic Product  (GDP) of transportation sector has positive and significant influence to Economic Growth in Indonesia, with significant value at 0.00. Then, Gross Domestic Product  (GDP) of industry sector, mining sector and transportation sector have significantly influence to Economic growth in Indonesia with significant value at 0.00 based on with the theory Environmental Kuznet Curve (EKC).

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze. (1) What is the impact of labor on theeconomic growth of West Sumatra? (2) What is the impact of human capital onthe economic growth of West Sumatra? (3) What is the impact of investment onthe economic growth of West Sumatra? (4) What is the impact of technology onthe economic growth of West Sumatra, and (5) What is the impact of labor,human capital, investment, and technology on the economic growth of WestSumatra? This study is descriptive and inductive using panel data regressionanalysis using a random-effects model (REM) method using time series 2017-2020 taken from 19 district/city across province from related agencies in WestSumatra.The results show that the effects of labor, human capital, investment, andtechnology at the same time had a significant positive impact on WestSumatra's economic growth. In addition, in part, (1) labor has negative andslightly impact on West Sumatra's economic growth, (2) human capital has apositive and significant impact on West Sumatra's economic growth, and (3)investment study on economic growth in West Sumatra that has a positive andslightly impact. West Sumatra. West Sumatra, (4) Technology has a negativeand significant impact on West Sumatra's economic growth. Therefore, labor,human capital, investment, and technology are the most important aspects ofWest Sumatra's economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of economic openness on economic growth in Indonesia. This research uses time series data from 1993-2023 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia, Bank International For Settlements, and World Bank. The results of the study reveal that (1) trade openness has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia, (2) Foreign Investment and the real exchange rate have a positive effect, (3) The real exchange rate has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth in Indonesia.
