Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research are to investigate: (1) which one that is more effective in teaching geometry, the STAD type of cooperative learning model with Power Point media or that with Geometrical Model media or that with Conventional media, (2) which learning style results in a better learning achievement and (3) which media used in the STAD learning model results in a better learning achievement in each learning style of the students.This research used the quasi-experimental method. The population of this research was the 9th-grade students of the state junior secondary schools in Ngawi regency in the academic year of 2012/2013. The samples of this research consisted of 250 students who were divided into 85 students of the first experiment class, 83 students of the second experiment class, and 82 students of the control class. The samples were taken by using stratified cluster random sampling. The data of this research were gathered through documentation, test, and questionnaire. The hypothesis of this research were tested by using unbalanced Two-way Analysis of Variance. Conclusions drawn are as follows: (1) the STAD learning model with the Power Point media is better than the STAD learning models with the Geometrical Model and the Conventional media whereas the STAD learning model with the Geometrical Model media is equal to the STAD learning model with the Conventional media; (2) the students with the kinesthetic learning style have a better learning achievement than those with the visual and auditory learning styles whereas the students with the visual learning style have an equal learning achievement to those with the auditory learning style; (3) the STAD learning model with the Power Point media results in a better learning achievement than that with the Conventional media whereas the STAD learning model with the Power Point media results in an equal learning achievement to that with the Geometrical Model media and the STAD learning model with the Power Point media results in an equal learning achievement to that with the Conventional media in the visual learning style; (4) the STAD learning model with the all of the three types of media results in an equal learning achievement in the auditory learning style; and (5) the STAD learning model with the Geometrical Model media results in a better learning achievement than that with the Conventional media whereas the STAD learning model with the Power Point media results in an equal learning achievement to that with the Geometrical Model media and the STAD learning model with the Power Point media results in an equal learning achievement to that with the Conventional media in the kinesthetic learning style.Keywords: STAD, Power Point media, Geometrical Model media and learning style.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the effects caused by the non-performing loan (NPL) and interest on loan to the profitability of Indonesian private national bank in 2013. Data were obtained from Bank of Indonesia and the websites of each bank in 2013. This study used a random sampling technique which contains 55 National Private banks. The study states that there is a negative and significant impact of NPL with the profitability of the sample banks. While the interest on loan has a significant and positive effect to the profitability of the banks. Simultaneously, NPL, and interest on loan has a significant and positive effect to profitability of private national banks. Thus, the national private commercial banks should consider the level of interest on loan, which will have an impact on NPL and always pay attention to the interest on loan to achieve the level of profitability. Artikel ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh yang disebabkan oleh Non Performing Loan (NPL) dan bunga pinjaman terhadap profitabilitas bank umum swasta nasional tahun 2013. Data yang diuji diperoleh dari Bank Indonesia dan website masing-masing bank tahun 2013.Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling sebanyak 55 Bank Umum Swasta Nasional.Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara NPL dengan profitabilitas bank umum swasta nasional. Sementara itu bunga pinjaman dengan profitabilitas bank umum swasta nasional berpengaruh positif signifikan. Secara simultan, NPL, bunga pinjaman dan profitabilitas bank umum swasta nasional berpengaruh positif signifikan. Dengan demikian, bank umum swasta nasional harus memperhatikan tingkat penyaluran kredit yang akan berdampak pada NPL dan memperhatikan bunga pinjaman untuk mencapai tingkat profitabilitasnya.

Abstract

The existence of metalcraft in Tumang village which still exists until now has become part of the life of the local community there. This makes the metalcraft as a cultural product. It means that the metalcraft have a certain place in the social production, circulation, and consumption. This study aims to analyze the establishment of cultural products of metalcraft in Tumang village. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data analysis was carried out after the data collection. The data collection was conducted by observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis used phenomenological model analysis. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of Tumang metalcraft can be seen through its manufacturing technique, namely mbabar process.The cultural production in Tumang metalcraft was formed from the meeting of several agents. The meeting of agents is controlled and supported by habitus, capital, and strategy so that they can compete in the field of cultural production. Through this competition, the agents who have strong capital will maintain their social positions so that they become the dominating party. Meanwhile, the agents whose capitals are weak or dominated will struggle by means of resistance. The resistance is done by creating a new view of the world so that they can struggle in the production field of Tumang metalcraft.

Abstract

This activity aims to empower the community through the Posdaya Approach (Family Empowerment Post in the fields of economics, education, and health). Communities in Jatinegara Subdistrict are heterogenic communities, the environment around them shows a rapidly developing economy, they must be empowered and nurtured so that they have the ability to compete. The activities carried out provide knowledge on how they should be united in the Posdaya, 10 beginner Posdaya have been formed. Posdaya as a center of friendship and village level empowerment activities that are planned where Posdaya will be formed. Hold a meeting to invite the community to form Posdaya and arrange Posdaya Management. In order to design the initial activities of Posdaya in four areas, namely education, and skills, including religion, entrepreneurship and cooperatives, family planning and health, environment, and hygiene and nutritious gardens.

Abstract

Teknologi memiliki peran penting, karena dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penggunaan media online dalam proses e-learning sangat penting untuk mentransfer pengetahuan dan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran daring. Peserta didik yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi mampu mengontrol kemampuannya untuk belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji efektivitas pembelajaran daring dan media online terhadap kemandirian belajar yang dimediasi motivasi belajar untuk menjelaskan hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah seratus delapan puluh satu siswa kelas sebelas SMA. Data pada penelitian yaitu data primer menggunakan skala likert. Sampling menggunakan acak proposional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan software SmartPLS versi tiga titik nol. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kemandirian Belajar, Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring secara positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Motivasi Belajar, Media Online secara positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring, Media Online secara positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Kemandirian Belajar, Media Online secara positif dan sginifikan berpengaruh terhadap Motivasi Belajar, Motivasi Belajar secara positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Kemandirian Belajar Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring  berpengaruh terhadap Kemandirian Belajar melalui Motivasi Belajar, Media Online berpengaruh positif terhadap Kemandirian Belajar melalui Motivasi Belajar. Penelitian ini menjadi masukan bagi guru untuk memotivasi siswa belajar mandiri dan mengembangkan inovasi teknologi serta meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study examines how learning motivation affects the relationship between teacher teaching style and learning facilities on computer accounting learning outcomes in Private Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Pulogadung District. 89 students from four randomly selected private vocational schools participated in the study. Teacher teaching style was measured using a questionnaire focusing on interactivity and teacher involvement. Learning facilities were assessed based on availability and infrastructure. Student's learning motivation was measured using a scale of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Data collection techniques included tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Various techniques, such as validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and moderation tests, were used to analyze the data. The results showed that teacher teaching style positively influenced learning outcomes, while learning facilities did not have a significant effect. Learning motivation moderated the relationship between teacher teaching style and learning outcomes, but not between learning facilities and learning outcomes. Overall, both teachers teaching style and learning facilities had a simultaneous influence on computer accounting learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Adversity Intelligence and Family Environment on Entrepreneurial Interest in Undergraduate Students at the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. The population of this study was 417 undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, Class of 2021. From the total research population, 211 students were taken as samples using the calculation technique, namely Slovin. In this study, researchers used research instruments with quantitative methods with a total of 211 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires with proportional random sampling. The research was conducted using the SPSS version 25 application. The results of this research show that 1) Adversity Intelligence has a positive and significant influence on Entrepreneurial Interest; 2) Family environment has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial interest. The variables used in this research are still relatively small, so they can be added with other variables such as Entrepreneurship Education, Self-Efficacy, Learning Outcomes and Locus of Control. It can also be said that the sample in this study cannot represent all students at the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University because it only examined students from the Class of 2021.

Abstract

This study analyzed educators' strategies for instilling early childhood religious character. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and data collection procedures through interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The collected data related to students' numeracy skills and the use of innovative tree media were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The result of this study is that religious character is an integration of creed, sharia, and morals. PAUD Kartika Buana Pagotan Geger Madiun instills religious feelings in students, which is associated with the creation of PAUD religious culture both related to aspects of creed, sharia, and morals as well as the encouragement of leaders to go through the order of spiritual values that are entrenched in PAUD. The creed aspect is introduced through songs, games, and fairy tales. The Sharia aspect invites students to practice worship, and the moral element is instilled through school rules and student promises. The commitment to maintaining religious culture in PAUD Kartika Buana is always considered, even though the facilities for places of worship have yet to be available.
