Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the effect of cooperative learning on students’ achievement in ecology and their interpersonal communication skill in Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unpak Bogor. This research was conducted at Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unpak Bogor, and academic year of 2017/2018. Population in this research is students of the fourth semester of Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unpak Bogor. Cluster Random Sampling technique is used in choosing the sample. There are two classes chosen as the sample with 75 students. Quantitative approach is used with experimental method which consists of three variables. The first variable is Team Assisted Individualization model (TAI) which is a independent variable (X). The second variable consists of two dependent variables (Y) they are ecology learning achievement and interpersonal communication skill. Based on the data analysis and research result, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of Team Assisted Individualization model on ecology learning achievement in Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unpak Bogor. Learning outcome of ecology and interpersonal communication skill on experimental group which taught using Team Assisted Individualization is better than the result of the control group. Team Assisted Individualization model is a model that can improve ecology learning outcome and interpersonal communication skill.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the application and benefit of field trip to Kebun Raya Bogor on Ecology subject in Biology Education Program, FKIP Unpak Bogor.This research is conducted at Kebun Raya Bogor on January during academic year of 2017. Population of this research is students of fourth semester Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unpak Bogor who attend field trip on ecology subject.Descriptive method is used in this research to describe and analyze the advantages and the application of field trip to Kebun Raya Bogor on ecology subject. Instrument used in this research is questionnaire. Based on the data analysis and the research result it can be said that the application of field trip on ecology subject shows good impact. The successfulness of this field trip is because all students involve in the activity and follow the procedure as it was written on the manual. The benefit of field trip is to prove theory that students learn in the classroom.

Abstract

THEAPPLICATION OF GALLERY WALK MODEL AND KOKAMI MEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT IN BIOLOGY ON ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS IN SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI 10 BOGORThis research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aimed at to improve students’ achievement in biology using gallery walk model and mystery cards box. The samples are 35 students of the eleventh grade IPA 2. This research was done in two cycles, with each cycles consist of two meetings. There are four stages for each cycles, they are planning, treatment, observation, and reflection. Evaluation is given at the end of every cycles using calibrated instrument. The evaluation result on the first cycle is 74,48 there are 24 students reach the maximum mastery criteria with KKM achievement percentage around 68,57% from 35 students, and on the second cycle the average score increased into 81,45 with KKM achievement percentage at 82,85%. It shows that the application of gallery walk learning model and Kokami media can improve students’ achievement of the eleventh grade IPA 2 in biology subject in  SMAN 10 Bogor.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to explain the degree of satisfaction from school partner of internship program on students ability to arrange lesson plan and conduct it also the satisfaction from the school on internship program. This research is a descriptive study with survey method which conducted at schools partner for the internship odd semester 2015/2016 Faculty of Teachers Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan Universities. There are 42 school partners for the intern program, 32 elementary schools, 5 junior high, 5 senior high, both in private and public school in Bogor. The survey result about school partnership satisfaction on students ability in conducting teaching learning process, especially in arranging lesson plan can be seen as satisfied (70%), very satisfied (20%), and fairly satisfied (10%). The satisfaction of intern partner on students in conducting teaching learning process are 85% says satisfied, 10% says very satisfied, and 5% says fairly satisfied. Satisfaction level on the intern management as seen by the teacher are 60% satisfied, 35% very satisfied, and 5% fairly satisfied, and there are no respondents claiming to have not satisfied.Keywords: intership, satisfaction

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Alamiah Dasar dengan menerapan pembelajaran aktif berbasis permainan (games) dengan penugasan mind mapping. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di program studi pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Universitas Pakuan Bogor, bulan Juni - Agustus tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV kelas B dengan jumlah mahasiswa sebanyak 32 orang. Proses penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan,pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Tiap akhir siklus dilaksanakan tes dengan instrumen yang telah dikalibrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran aktif berbasis permainan (games) dengan penugasan mind mapping dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ilmu alamiah dasar. Hal tersebut terlihat dari perubahan rata-rata hasil belajar Ilmu Alamiah Dasar pada pra siklus yaitu 70 atau ketuntasan klasikal 45% dari 32 siswa. Pada siklus I menjadi 74,85 atau ketuntasan klasikal 74,87 dan pada siklus II mencapai81,56 atau ketuntasan klasikal 83,33.

Abstract

Bamboo is a clear-trunked plant with grass stem type (calamus), which is not hard, has real segments, and often hollow. The nature of the surface of the stem is hairy (laevis). The direction of growth is perpendicular (erectus). Bamboo has no branching pattern because it is a monocot. It has books (nodes) and segments (internodes). The cross section of the stem is round (teres) hollow or empty as it is stated by (Yutam Soleh 2013). This study aims to identify Bambusa sp. at Resort PTN Selabintana – Section PTN Region III – Division PTN Region II Sukabumi Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park. The method used is a descriptive exploratory method that describes the identification of Bambusa sp., and a roaming method that is exploring the Resort PTN Selabintana - PTN Section Region III - PTN Division Region II Sukabumi Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park which contains Bambusa sp. The results showed that the species Bambusa sp. found at Resort PTN Selabintana – PTN Section Region III – PTN Division Region III Sukabumi Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park were as many as 5 species, namely Gigantochloa pseudoarundinacea; Dendrocalamus asper; Dinochloa scandes; Bambusa blumeana; Schizostachyum brachycladum

Abstract

In the industrial revolution 4.0, technology has become the basis of human life to design learning media, in improving students' critical thinking skills in the immune system learning process. This study aims to determine thelearning media e-magazine on immune system material can improve students' critical thinking skills and the process of developing e-magazines as learning media. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Sukabumi. This research was conducted in December 2020 - August 2021. The population and sample of this study were 30 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Sukabumi class XI IPA 2. Implementation of a limited trial using aresearch design one group pretest-posttest. The results showed that e-magazine can improve students' critical thinking skills, with an increase in the percentage of 41.06% and the n-gain of 0.65 in the medium category. As for the development process, the results showed that the e-magazine product named Immune System Magazine (IS-Magz) contains material on the immune system including understanding, functions, influencing factors, defense mechanisms, and immune system disorders, and is equipped with various supporting features such as flashes. info, updates journal, true stories, learning videos, important info, discussions, and quizzes to improve the material contained in the e-magazine.

Abstract

Pinanga sp. merupakan salah satu jenis tumbuhan monokotil yang tergolong palem- paleman. Pinanga sp. ini masuk kedalam famili Arecaceae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis pinang di kawasan Gunung Gede Pangrango. Gunung Gede Pangrango merupakan salah satu wilayah kawasan konservasi pertama di Indonesia yang ditetapkan sebagai Cagar Alam Cibodas pada tahun 1889 yang memiliki keanekaragaman Pinang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif eksploratif. Sementara pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung menggunakan metode strip sensus yaitu metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara berjalan disepanjang garis transek, serta mencatat spesies-spesies yang diamati disepanjang garis transek tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan spesies dalam famili Arecaceae ditemukan di Resort PTN Selabintana-Seksi PTN Wilayah III-Bidang PTN Wilayah II Sukabumi Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango adalah sebanyak 3 spesies yaitu Caryota maxima, Curculigo cavitulata, dan Pinanga javana.
