Abstract

South Sumatra has a unique local wisdom, one of which is the Cultural Guritan the hereditary inherited or preserved by Besemah Tribe. Guritan an ancient literary form of poetry that characterized the old or classic literature that are anonymous ie without the author's name or authors. The contents of this Guritan contains many moral values, advice, custom rules, the voices of conscience and portraits of human nature, heroism, and the rest of the kingdom in the past, which can be learned by humans as the demands of life. One Besemah community effort to preserve this culture which is a way to introduce this culture to the children of both formal and non-formal as heir to the young generation of the nation of Indonesia. Abstract

This research is entitled "Development of Learning Media Using Windows Movie Maker in the Subject of Class XI High School History". The problem is how to develop a valid historical learning media and effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and effective historical learning media in North Indralaya 2 High School. This research is a type of development research that uses the Alessi and Trollip development models including: planning, design, and development. The validity of the media is included in the valid category with a mean score of 3.87, the validity of the material is included in the valid category with an average value of 3.92, the validity of the learning design is included in the very valid category with an average value of 4.6. The potential impact of learning media using Windows Movie Maker can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes before and after using learning media. The mean value of the pretest obtained was 42.33 which was included in the low category while the posttest value obtained was 83.33. This shows that the learning media uses Windows movie maker with material on the events of the September 30 movement / Indonesian Communist Party that has valid values and effectiveness.

Abstract

Ekspedisi Pamalayu yang dilakukan oleh Kerajaan Singsari pada akhir abad ke-13 merupakan salah satu upaya strategis dalam memperluas wilayah kekuasaan di Nusantara, khususnya di wilayah Sumatra. Ekspedisi ini dipimpin oleh Raja Kertanegara dengan tujuan memperkuat hubungan diplomatik dan militer antara Singasari dan kerajaan-kerajaan di wilayah Melayu, sekaligus merespon ancaman invasi dari Dinasti Yuan di Tiongkok. Artikel ini membahas latar belakang politik, strategi ekspansi, dan dampak Ekspedisi Pamalayu terhadap kekuasaan Singasari serta pengaruhnya bagi perkembangan kebudayaan di wilayah Melayu. Dengan metode studi pustaka dan analisis historis, artikel ini menggali motivasi, pelaksanaan, dan hasil dari ekspedisi tersebut dalam konteks dinamika geopolitik Asia Tenggara pada masa itu. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ekspedisi Pamalayu berhasil memperkuat pengaruh Singasari di wilayah Melayu, yang kemudian menjadi landasan bagi kerajaan-kerajaan besar berikutnya, seperti Majapahit dalam menciptakan Nusantara
