Abstract

This study aims: to determine the performance of the principal as a supervisor at SMP Negeri 1 Palopo; to find out the professionalism of teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Palopo; to determine the effect of the principal’s performance as a supervisor on teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 1 Palopo. This study use quantitative research methods with ex-post facto research design. The total population is all teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Palopo consisting of 52 civil cervant or honorary teachers with sampling using a saturated sampling technique, namely determining the sample when all members of the population are used the sample. So, the sample used was 52 people. The research instrument use a questionnaire and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis, the principal’s performance as a supervisor at SMP Negeri 1 Palopo was in the good category with a percentage of 56%. Meanwhile, the professionalism of teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Palopo is in the very good category with a percentage of 77%. In addition, it is obtained that T count is 6,884 > T table 1, 675 so it can be concluded that X has an effect on Y with R2 (R square) of 0,487 or 48,7% has a positive and significaneffect of the principal’s performance as a supervisor on teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 1 Palopo while the rest 51,3% is influenced by other variables that cannot be explained in this study.

Abstract

Museum Budaya Rambu Solo Ne' Gandeng belum memiliki video profil yang dapat menggambarkan keseluruhan isi museum. Tujuan pengabdian untuk membuat video profil yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media informasi dan promosi tempat wisata yang ada di Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode observasi, studi pustaka, implementasi, evaluasi, dan dokumentasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29-31 Desember 2021 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 13 orang dari Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya video profil yang total isinya dari museum untuk digunakan oleh pengelola museum sebagai media informasi dan promosi tempat wisata.

Abstract

Abstract[English]:This study aims to determine the principal's efforts in increasing teacher motivation to use e-learning during the covid 19 period, majoring in computer engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Palopo and to determine the work motivation of teachers to use e-learning during the covid 19 period. Computer Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Palopo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, using a pedagogical and educational approach. The results of the research researchers are as follows. 1) the principal's efforts to increase teacher motivation to use e-learning, namely; motivation, directing and guiding teachers to participate in training related to e-learning, complementing the needs of teachers both in terms of facilities and infrastructure and developing the work of teachers. 2) teacher's work motivation to use e-learning, where teachers are able to increase work motivation in carrying out learning tasks by making easy learning models so that they are able to solve the level of difficulty experienced by participants during e-learning learning and teachers and school principals work together and support each other to improve teacher competence in carrying out e-learning learning activities.Abstrak[Indonesia]:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan motivasi guru untuk menggunakan e-learning pada masa covid 19 jurusan teknik komputer di SMK Negeri 2 Palopo dan untuk mengetahui motivasi kerja guru untuk menggunakan e-learning pada masa covid 19 Jurusan Teknik Komputer di SMK Negeri 2 Palopo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskripsif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan pedagogis dan edukatif. Hasil penelitian peneliti sebagai berikut. 1) upaya kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan motivasi guru untuk menggunakan e-learning yakni; memberikan dorongan motivasi, mengarahkan dan membimbing guru untuk mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran e-learning, melengkapi kebutuhan guru baik sarana dan prasarana dan mengevaluasi hasil kerja guru. 2) motivasi kerja guru untuk menggunakan e-learning, dimana guru mampu meningkatkan motivasi kerja dalam menjalankan tugas pembelajaran dengan cara membuat model pembelajaran yang mudah sehingga mampu menyelesaikan tingkat kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik selama pembelajaran e-learning serta guru dan kepala sekolah berkerjasama dan saling mendukung untuk meningkatkan kompotensi guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran e-learning.

Abstract

In the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, humans are required to be able to seek education that is in line with the needs of the time. This is a challenge for Islamic educational institutions in particular, which are often trapped in the dichotomy of religious and general knowledge. Negative stigma still often comes from people who question the lack of scientific integration in Islamic educational institutions, so that they are less adaptive in responding to market needs. This study aims to describe the integration of moral education values into the learning process at Madrasah Aliyah DDI Masamba. This research is qualitative, using normative theological and phenomenological approaches to obtain research data. The results of the study show that, on the one hand, MA DDI Masamba has responded to the industrial era 4.0 by integrating moral education values into the entire learning process. However, on the other hand, the integration process is hampered because the teaching staff has not optimally exemplified morals in the learning process. For this reason, alternative curriculum improvements and follow-up evaluations are needed to develop an integrated and global-minded moral education.

Abstract

The rise of violence among students gives the impression that barren education gives birth to students with noble character. This research studies the contents of the Islamic Religious Education and Morals Education textbook for Junior High Schools (SMP), a student handbook. The main problem is what values are contained in the PAI SMP textbooks and their relevance to the realities of junior high school students' lives. Researchers analyzed three things: First, the prospect of Islamic religious education textbooks in solving the problems of adolescent life in junior high school. Second, values become the content of Islamic religious education textbooks in answering the problems of junior high school youth life. Third, Solutions to adolescent problems in junior high schools are offered through Islamic religious education textbooks Junior High School (SMP) level. It was found that the entire material for Islamic Religious Education textbooks in junior high schools contained five crucial issues: Tawhid, Morals, History, Tolerance, and Obedience. The five issues are broken down into various messages, all identified into 31 forms of messages, where messages about obedience and tolerance are the most significant frequency compared to other messages. Islamic Religious Education Textbooks for Junior High Schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2013 have met the standard criteria for aspects of Islamic knowledge that are the needs of students in junior high schools. Therefore, increasing the effectiveness of using Islamic Religious Education textbooks is recommended.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas secara singkat bagaimana Rasulullah membangun umat Islam melalui masjid sebagai pusat kegiatan dan Rumah Tangga (keluarga) sebagai pilar pokok pembinaan anak. Metode pustaka adalah metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini. Dalam penelitian pustaka, data bersumber dari buku, jurnal dan dokumen-dokumen yang terkait dalam kajian ini. Informasi yang diperoleh dianalisis, direduksi kemudian di tarik kesimpulan. Kedatangan Rasulullah saw. semata untuk meneguhkan kembali apa yang menjadi tugas dan kewajiban manusia, termasuk tugas dan kewajibannya untuk belajar dan menimba ilmu pengetahuan. Revitalisasi fungsi masjid sebagaimana dicontohkan di masa Rasulullah kiranya dapat dijadikan acuan, bahwa kemajuan umat Islam tidak dapat dipisahkan dari Masjid. Selain itu, revitalisasi fungsi keluarga harus segera mendapatkan perhatian di kalangan umat Islam, mengingat bahwa sebahagian dari keluarga umat Islam telah larut dalam budaya hedonis sehingga melupakan tugas yang seharusnya diemban dalam keluarga.

Abstract

The Industry 4.0 era demands digitalization in all fields, including public services in the higher education sector. This research aims to develop a digital-based academic administration service system. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan Sciences, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo. The development method used was Rapid Application Development (RAD), with stages of requirements planning, system design, development and feedback collection, and product implementation. This research involved staff or education personnel and web developer experts. Data were collected through observation and validation questionnaires and analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques to determine validity. Product validity was tested by expert web developers through analysis using the Aiken V formula. This research provides an important understanding of the importance of digitalization in improving the efficiency and quality of academic administration services in the digital era. The results of this study provide a significant contribution to developing a digital-based academic administration service system and can be a foundation for further research and development in the future. This research significantly impacts academic administration practice by contributing to a digital-based service system. These findings can be the basis for further research and development on optimizing academic administration services in the digital era.
