Abstract

Work readiness is a person's condition including physical, mental and experience maturity marked by the ability and willingness to carry out an activity at work. Students if they have work readiness can be absorbed in the world of work and have good work motivation. The method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and the subjects in this study were students of SMK Negeri Cihampelas, West Bandung City. Determination of the sample size taken using the Slovin formula as many as 132 students. The data collection technique used in this study is proportional random sampling, it is intended that each population in the class can be represented. To obtain objective and scientifically accountable data, the collection method The data used is a job readiness questionnaire that has been tested for 48 items. The results showed that the work readiness of students was in the medium category. Where those who have work readiness are in the medium category of 68.94% (91 students), participants with high motivation are 16.67% (22 students) while students with low categories are 14.39% (19 students). It was concluded that most students had good work readiness, such as having logical and objective considerations, the ability and willingness to work, having the courage to take responsibility, the ability to adapt to the environment, especially the work environment.Keywords: : Work Readiness, Students, Vocational

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe data on the results of students' social skills levels at SMAN 2 Purwakarta. The methods used in this study use quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection uses a social skills instrument containing 26 statements. The sample in this study was as many as 100 students in class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Purwakarta. The results showed that there are 3 categories of social skills levels of students in SMAN 2 Purwakarta, high 47%, medium 26%, and low 27%. As for the social skills dimension obtained high value results, namely in the assertive behavior dimension with an average score of 84.39 indicated by student behavior that can display the right attitude with the situation, followed by the dimension of peer relationships with a value of 83.85 indicated by the behavior of students who can make friends well, and in the dimension of academic behavior gets a score of 81.62 indicated by the results of learning.Keywords: profile, social skills

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of strategic competence and mathematical disposition in mathematical learning using inquiry method of alberta model and correlation between the two. The subjects of this study are students of SMP class VII as many as two classes with a total of 70 students. The instruments used in data collection are written test of description for strategic competence and mathematical disposition and alberta model inquiry method. The research used a quasi experiment. Data on strategic competence and mathematical disposition were analyzed using Mann Whitney nonparametric tests. The results of this study are: (1) Improvement of students' strategic competency skills whose learning method using Inquiry Model Alberta is better than the usual method; (2) The mathematical disposition of students whose learning method using the Inquiry Model Alberta is better than the usual method; (3) There is a correlation between the ability of strategic competence with mathematical disposition of students whose learning method using Inquiry Model Alberta

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of those who have low self-confidence in class VII SMP N 6 CAMPAKA. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach because it describes a phenomenon, event, and occurrence that occurs factually, systematically, and accurately. The research sample used was 9 students of SMP N 6 Campaka. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire containing several questions about perceptions of the research problem. In addition to the questionnaire, there are also interview guidelines as a follow-up to the questionnaire so that the research results are more accurate. The data collected is then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 2% of students with a high level of self-confidence, meaning that students are able to think positively, and are active in their learning, 4% are in the low category, meaning students tend to be silent, and shy. 3% are in the medium category, students who are in the medium category tend to be open, and look relaxed. The results of this study can be concluded that self-confidence plays an important role in the continuity of learning. Keywords: Confidence, Students

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still students who have low self-confidence in school. The form of efforts made in counseling guidance services to provide students' understanding in increasing self-confidence is through group guidance services. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive research approach that combines three ways of collecting data, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research sample was 7 students of class XI at SMK Negeri 6 Garut. From the research that has been done, it is found that students feel better than the level of self-confidence with group guidance services and psychodrama techniques that researchers do. So it can be concluded that the technique used by the researcher can be one way to increase self-confidence, especially for students at school.Keywords: Self-confidence, group guidance services, Psychodrama Techniques, Learners.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought major changes in the world of education. Learning activity that was originally done face-to-face became distance learning, so it needed interesting and easy-to-use learning media for teachers and students. One medium that is easy to apply and has many advantages is telegram because it has advantages among others. It is cloud-based, able to send files with large capacity, and easy to use. The number of group members reaches 200,000. It has many features, and can be accessed from several devices at once. There are many learning media that can be used for online learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of telegram as a learning medium and as an online evaluation tool. In addition, it is also done to determine student's responses to the telegram application used in learning. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a sample of 99 students at SMPN 6 Karawang Barat. The instruments used are in the form of surveys, interviews, and documentation; the results showed that 91 students liked telegram as a medium of learning. In addition, telegram was effectively used for media and learning assessment tools both for the assessment of knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diinisiasi oleh Program Pascasasrjana IKIP Siliwangi menetapkan PKBM Sangkanhurip yang terletak di Desa Sangkanhurip, Kecamatan Katapang, Kabupaten Bandung sebagai tempat pelaksanaan program pengabdian. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi ditemukan beberapa masalah yang dihadapi lembaga tersebut dalam proses pengembangan kewirausahaan yang sudah berjalan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menggali dampak dan efektivitas pelatihan dalam mempersiapkan peserta untuk memahami dan mengelola pasar lokal. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif dalam menyajikan materi market planning kepada peserta. Pelatihan difokuskan pada aspek analisis pasar, strategi pemasaran yang relevan dengan konteks lokal, dan pengembangan keterampilan manajemen bisnis yang diperlukan. Metode evaluasi meliputi survei pra pelatihan, survei pasca pelatihan, observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta tentang analisis pasar, strategi pemasaran yang sesuai dengan konteks lokal, dan keterampilan manajemen bisnis setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Implikasinya adalah penguatan kapasitas masyarakat lokal untuk mengelola bisnis atau inisiatif mereka sendiri dengan memahami pasar dan mengembangkan strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan komunitas

Abstract

Abstrak.  Minat merupakan suatu kecenderungan yang menetap untuk memperhatikan dan mengingat suatu kegiatan. Seseorang yang tertarik pada suatu kegiatan akan dengan senang hati memperhatikannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui minat musik pada anak usia 8-12 tahun di gereja HKBP Ressort Pengembangan Medan. Pada hasil penelitian didapatkan minat anak belajar bermain musik dikarenakan beberapa faktor yaitu faktor minat dari anak itu sendiri, faktor keluarga, dan faktror lingkungan sosial. Abstract. Interest is a persistent tendency to pay attention to and remember an activity. Someone who is interested in an activity will be happy to pay attention to it. This research uses qualitative research with the aim of finding out the interest in music in children aged 8-12 years at the HKBP Resort Development Medan church. The research results showed that children's interest in learning to play music was caused by several factors, namely the child's own interest, family factors, and social environmental factors.
