Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana upaya guru ngaji dalam menyikapi perubahan minat membaca al-Qur’an pada anak akibat penggunaan gadget di Desa Kawuwu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dan untuk Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap 1) pengolahan data, 2) penyajan data, 3) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan minat anak-anak di Desa Kawuwu telah mengalami perubahan pada beberapa tahun terakhir dimana sekarang peneliti mendapatkan bahwa minat anak-anak sudah sangat berkurang yang diakibatkan oleh adanya gadget serta kesediaan akses internet yang membuat mereka lupa akan tugasnya untuk belajar al-Qur’an. Oleh demikian guru melakukan upaya berupa berkolaborasi dengan orang tua, guru, tokoh agama serta masyarakat untuk menangani hal tersebut. Disamping itu guru juga mengunakan cara dengan memberikan tugas hafalan ayat-ayat pendek kepada muridnya dengan tujuan agar mereka tidak hanya menggunakan waktu disiang harinya untuk bermain-main. Dan dari hasi penelitian minat membaca al-Qur’an pada anak di Desa Kawuwu mengalami penurunan sebesar 66%, dilihat dari hasil wawancara dengan jumlah reponden yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the implementation of Islamic religiouseducation within the family and its influence on the behavior of tenth-grade studentsat MA Darussalam Pekat, and (2) the implications of Islamic religious educationwithin the family for the behavior of tenth-grade students at MA Darussalam Pekat.This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach,conducted at MA Darussalam Pekat. The participants consisted of teachers,students, and parents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, and theanalysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicatethat: (1). The implementation of Islamic religious education in the family takes placethrough three main aspects: daily religious practices, parental role modeling, andengagement in religious activities at home. However, the practice is not yetconsistent and largely depends on communication style, parental consistency, andthe family’s socio-economic conditions. (2). The implications of Islamic religiouseducation within the family are significant for students’ behavior. Most studentsdemonstrate religious attitudes, discipline, politeness, and strong learningmotivation, largely due to parental advice and role modeling. In conclusion, theimplications of Islamic religious education require strong cooperation between theschool, parents, and students to effectively build students’ character and behaviorbased on Islamic values.

Abstract

TGH. M. Yasin Abdul Lathief is a figure who cares deeply about education in Bima. His concern is evident in his efforts to deepen his knowledge so that he has become an intelligent, knowledgeable, and wise person. Due to his mastery of knowledge, he has been trusted since his youth to become a teacher and has served as a madrasah principal several times. His achievements were realized thanks to his persistence in pursuing knowledge and putting it into practice. This research is descriptive qualitative field research aimed at exploring the role of TGH. M. Yasin Lathief in initiating the establishment of educational institutions and developing them. The research data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that TGH. M. Yasin Lathief made a significant contribution to the development of education in Bima. This is evidenced by his role in teaching and serving as the head of several madrasahs under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as serving as the chair of the Sunan Giri Bima College of Tarbiyah (STIT) for one term. In addition, he also initiated the establishment and development of several educational institutions, including the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Roka Belo Bima and the Darul Ma'arif Roka Belo Bima Education Foundation and Islamic Boarding School, which oversees Raudlatul Athfal (RA), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) and Madrasah Aliyah (MA) located in Roka Village, Belo District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Qur’anic verses for multicultural values using Toshihiko Izutsu’s semantic approach and to present pedagogical illustrations, informed by student reflections, that show how semantic awareness may emerge in Arabic language learning contexts. The study adopts a conceptual–qualitative research design that emphasizes textual interpretation and pedagogical reflection rather than the empirical evaluation of instructional effectiveness. Conceptual semantic analysis based on Izutsu’s framework is applied to selected Qur’anic verses through four interrelated layers of meaning: basic meaning, relational meaning, historical meaning, and worldview (Weltanschauung). The analysis demonstrates that multicultural values, such as diversity, justice, dialogue, social cooperation, and recognition of religious plurality, are constructed through relational networks of meaning linking key concepts, syntactic structures, and discourse patterns. Pedagogical illustrations drawn from reflective student accounts suggest that semantic-oriented engagement with Qur’anic texts can foster contextual, relational, and ethical awareness in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading ability of second-grade students at SDN 10 Penatoi through the implementation of a word-arranging game technique in Indonesian language learning. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design consisting of two cycles, each including planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 18 students. Data were collected through observation sheets and reading performance assessments. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ reading ability across the cycles. The average score increased from 2.78 in the pre-cycle (low category) to 3.00 in Cycle I (moderate category), and further improved to 3.67 in Cycle II (good category). The total score also increased from 50 in the pre-cycle to 54 in Cycle I, and reached 66 in Cycle II. In addition, most students demonstrated gradual individual progress, with several students achieving the maximum score in the final cycle. These findings indicate that the word-arranging game technique is effective in enhancing students’ reading skills. The interactive and engaging nature of the activity encourages active participation, improves motivation, and facilitates better understanding of word structures. Therefore, this technique can be considered a practical and effective alternative strategy for improving early reading skills in elementary school students.
