Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk menfasilitasi penguatan kapasitas pengelola wisata yang masih mengalami kendala pengelolaan promosi wisata di Desa Ciasmara. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyakarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terpumpun (DKT), dan Evaluasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan partisipasi Bumdes Cahaya Asmara, pengelola sektor Saderi, Cipanas Karang, dan Cikawah. Hasil kegiatan menemukan kondisi promosi wisata yang masih menghadapi tantangan pengelolaan dan keterbatasan dikarenak kapasitas kapasitas pengelola wisata masih minim dan belum ada koordinasi yang cukup antar pengelola. Fasilitator perlu membuat rancangan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media promosi dan penguatan kapasitas dan pendampingan pembuatan materi promosi untuk diunggah di media sosial pengelola wisata.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Cyber PR for Covid-19 Information from the Bogor City Health Office in meeting the public's need for health information. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The data in this study were collected using a closed questionnaire which was then analyzed by multiple linear regression by SPSS 24. The results showed that the fulfillment of Cyber Information Needs at the Bogor City Health Office was included in the Good category. The cyber PR media owned by the Bogor City Health Office is a means or equipment used by the Bogor City Health Office in disseminating information about health during the pandemic to meet the information needs of the community. In this case, the people of Bogor City prefer to find out directly to the cyber media of the Bogor City Health Office as a reference in finding information about health because people feel that the Bogor City Health Office provides complete and varied information and is clear in conveying information.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the target partners’ knowledge related to potential consumer’s segmenting, targeting and positioning of fish nugget product. The scope of this community service activity is within The Mina Bakti Balerea processing and marketing group which is one part of BumDes Bhakti Kencana in Purwabakti Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This community service program uses a survey method among the people of Bogor City and Regency eliciting responses in terms of the fish nugget product. Focused Group Discussion and workshop were caried out regarding segmenting, targeting and positioning to the Bumdes members. Members were given a questionnaire before and after the FGD and workshop. The purpose was to test their understanding of segmenting, targeting, positioning. After conducting the FGD and workshop, the results of the tests indicate there is an increase in understanding of positioning and targeting potential consumers and product positioning by 39,2%.  From the discussion, the partners also agreed with the additional data presented by the community service team. The members of Bumdes agreed upon the taste, shape, and price of the nugget advocated by the community service team. The results of  this progam also supported the Bumdes members to discover the name  for their fish nugget brand and a new packaging.

Abstract

The reading interest of the Indonesian people is still relatively low even though access to information is getting easier. The Bogor City Public Library is one of those that has succeeded in increasing the number of visitors through an effective communication strategy. This study aims to analyze the communication strategy of the management of the Bogor City Public Library in building the public's interest in reading and the obstacles to the communication strategy of the management of the Bogor City Public Library in building the public's interest in reading. The benefits of this research are expected to be a reference and provide new developments in the field of Communication Sciences, especially in the field of public relations. This research uses a qualitative research method with an exploratory approach. This research was carried out at the Bogor City Public Library. The results of the study show that in carrying out the communication strategy, the manager of the Bogor City Public Library uses planning stages which include determining sources, preparing messages, selecting media, identifying targets, and expected effects. Sociological barriers are the most influential obstacles because they are the main cause of the lack of initial public participation in literacy activities, so it will be difficult to go further in the process of building interest in reading. The conclusion is that the communication strategy used by the manager of the Bogor City Public Library in building people's interest in reading, the planning stage is the most effective because it is related to various aspects that will support the implementation of communication strategies, including the use of social media. However, its use still needs to be maximized in order to further build reading interest and encourage people to visit the library. There are seven obstacles experienced by the management of the Bogor City Public Library, namely physical, distance, psychological, sociological, anthropological, physiological, and semantic obstacles. Of the seven barriers, sociological barriers are the most influential. Keywords: communication strategy; library; reading interest

Abstract

We already know that technology has become more sophisticated over time, resulting in progress and novelty in many sectors, the mass media industry being one of them. Technological developments have not failed to influence the world of journalism today, the mass media industry is increasingly sophisticated and has easy access for readers, so that news from abroad can be easily read by Indonesian people today. For example, news about the legalization of marijuana in Thailand has sparked discussion in Indonesia, so researchers want to conduct research on readers' perceptions regarding news about the rejection of legalization of marijuana in Indonesia. This research aims to find out how the news is exposed, what is the perception of the news "MK Rejects Legalization of Medical Marijuana for Health!" on the detikcom news portal, and what is the relationship between news exposure and readers' perceptions of the news "MK Rejects Legalization of Medical Marijuana for Health!" on the detikcom news portal. This research uses one independent variable, namely news exposure (X) and the indicators used to describe this variable are frequency, duration and content of news. One dependent variable is the perception of the news about the Constitutional Court rejecting the legalization of medical marijuana for health (Y) and the indicators used to describe this variable are sensation, attention and interpretation. This research was conducted on Instagram @detikcom in November 2022. This research used descriptive-correlational quantitative research methods. The population used was Instagram followers @detikcom and the sample used was 100 respondents who were followers of the Instagram account @detikcom. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis (Rank Spearman). The subjects in this research were followers of the Instagram account @detikcom, while the objects in this research were the researchers highlighting the news "MK Rejects Legalization of Medical Marijuana for Health!" which was published on the Detik.com news portal on July 20 2022. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between variable X and variable Y seen from the coefficient value of 0.679 which is included in the strong category, with a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

Pelayanan dalam suatu organisasi atau instansi akan sangat berperan dalam kelancaran kegiatan organisasi. Pelayanan yang baik adalah pelayanan yang diberikan tidak hanya memberikan bantuan untuk kebutuhan masyarakat tetapi juga memberikan pelayanan yang baik untuk masyarakat umum. Semakin cepat dan akurat pelayanan yang diberikan maka kualitas pelayanan akan semakin baik. Pemerintah mempunyai peranan penting untuk menyediakan layanan publik sesuai yang telah tercantum dalam UU No 25 Tahun 2009 tentang Pelayanan Publik pasal 1 menyebutkan bahwa “Pelayanan publik adalah aktivitas atau rangkaian kegiatan dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan pelayanan sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan bagi setiap warga negara dan penduduk atas barang, jasa dan pelayanan administratif yang disediakan oleh penyelenggara pelayanan publik”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen komunikasi Kelurahan Sukaharja Kecamatan Ciomas Kabupaten Bogor dalam meningkatkan pelayanan pada masyarakat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mendeskripsikan peristiwa maupun fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan dan menyajikan data secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta atau fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab terhambatnya pelayanan di Kelurahan Sukaharja Kecamatan Ciomas Kabupaten Bogor disebabkan oleh beberapa indikator yang ada dalam dimensi Organizing dan Actuating belum berjalan dengan baik dan benar. Adapun indikator yang belum berjalan dengan baik yaitu (1) Dimensi Organizing (Pengorganisasian) yaitu sumber daya manusianya masih kurang karena sering kali dua orang pegawai tidak ada di tempat sehingga pegawai yang lain merangkap pekerjaan. (2) Dimensi Actuating (Pelaksanaan) yaitu saat pelaksanaannya kurang efektif khususnya pelaksanaan sosialisasi yang terbilang ala kadarnya. Faktor penghambat pelaksanaan pelayanan pada masyarakat di Kantor Kelurahan Sukaharja Kecamatan Ciomas Kabupaten Bogor yaitu masalah kuantitas Sumber Daya Manusia, kurangnya koordinasi dengan warga-warga sekitar.
