Abstract

Abstract               Digital developments show a positive trend from year to year, especially for Indonesia based on data from WeAreSocial that collaborates with Hootsuite in 2018, it is known that the number of internet users reaches 132 million people. This number shows that half or more than 50 percent of Indonesia's population can access the internet. Young people and the internet are two things that are closely related. The magnitude of the penetration of young people relates to the type of content accessed. Based on this, it is interesting to know the use of internet and social media for young people in rural areas. This study aims to: 1) Know the internet use of young people in Ciasmara Village; 2) Knowing the use of social media for young people in Ciasmara Village. Quantitative methods are used to process data using descriptive analysis to determine the characteristics of respondents and the use of the internet and social media. This study found that the internet use of young people in Ciasmara Village is known that the largest frequency is rare, with an average duration of 3.4 hours per week, access on social media, the place / media used is mobile phones. The use of social media for young people in Desa Ciasmara is known that the biggest frequency is rare, with an average duration of 2.6 hours per week access to social media, the place / media used is school computers. Keywords: Young people, rural, internet use, social media use.

Abstract

In nowdays context, the community political participation has slightly changed as a result of technological development. In 2018, our regional election had failed to achieve minum target of political participation level that had been given by the Indonesian government. The government was targeting 77.5 percent but in the reality the society participation level only reached 73.24 percent due to the low level of participation from male voters. This research is conducted in order to identify male voters typology in Bogor Regency based on their utilization of political information sources or media. Quantitative method was used as metodological approach, 200 male voters were taken as research sampel by using quota samping based on their electoral district, and Chi-Square Automatic Interaction Detector (CHAID) was used as data analysis. This research finds that television and internet are the most frequently used media meanwhile, campaign props and television are the most trusted source of political information. The typology of male voters with the highest percentage in Bogor Regency is apathetic voters (34%) followed by naive (29.5%), alienated (19%) and loyal voters (17.5%).

Abstract

AbstractThis article was written in order to describe the preservation of cultural spatial assets in support of one of the pillars of the city of Bogor, which imagines the city as a Heritage City. Based on the results of research on the image of the city of Bogor as a place (place branding), the city tourism often offers historical heritage from various times. The Bogor City Government seems to see the superiority of this heritage as an asset to increase their own local income. The qualitative data of this study were obtained from a review of archives and policy documents, reinforced by quantitative data collected through questionnaires to the Bogor community regarding the spatial heritage assets in their city. The results showed that through the form of primary communication in the form of landscape strategies, infrastructure, and cultural behavior, people feel well the stimuli of their city which can image their city as a Heritage City. This is supported by the implementation of policies contained in the Regional Medium Term Development Plan which includes the revitalization of historical sites, strengthening of footpaths around the Bogor Botanical Gardens, and holding various events based on Indonesian national culture.Keywords: spatial communication, place naming, city naming, heritage city

Abstract

Poultry industry is faced with a relatively high risk especially for small scale poultry farmers. Therefore, preparedness is needed to deal with risks. Communication in poultry is s essential. Its shown by one of the strategies of national preparedness for facing influenza pandemic, namely communication, information, and education (risk communication). Communication can improve the level of knowledge of farmers. The perceived needs of farmers that emerged include knowledge for a broader implementation of essential biosecurity. This paper aims to find out the standard form of small scale farmers communication with stakeholder and the impact of communication to improve farmers' risk preparedness. The selection of respondents used convineince sampling techniques to 33 farmers. Data analysis used descriptive analysis to found preparedness and communication that is done to reduce hazards. This study found that access communication farmers are Technical Support and Nucleus with two communication approaches, such as technical guidance and personal explanation. The contents of the communication consist of poultry health management, productivity, medicine, biosecurity, cleanliness the cage, and good farming practice. In general, small-scale farmers' preparedness activities in the Bogor district are limited to cleaning the cage regularly and cleaning cage after harvesting. Farmer with more communication activities has a positive impact on preparedness to face risks, especially related to restricting cage access, awareness of cage hygiene, and vaccination. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Indonesian government has established a disaster emergency status related to the COVID-19 pandemic, through cyber public relations the government is trying to provide correct information so that this pandemic can be handled properly together with the community. The aims of this study are 1) to determine the exposure of the people of Bogor City to cyber public relations related to COVID-19, 2) to determine the attitude of the people of Bogor City to the Government's cyber public relations related to COVID-19 based on Generation and 3) to analyze the influence of cyber public relations related to COVID-19 19 on the attitude of the people of Bogor City. This research was conducted in Bogor City using empirical research methods with a quantitative approach using the virtual+ method (a combination of online and offline surveys). A total of 150 people were selected as research samples using quota sampling, which are part of Generations X, Y and Z. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and Structural Equaltion models. The results showed that the website was the most accessed platform followed by Instagram. In terms of frequency, most of them access the media once. Public attitudes regarding government Cyber ​​Public Relations information are relatively the same for the three generations X, Y, Z. There is no significant influence between applications and social media on the use of government cyber public relations, only websites that have a significant effect on government cyber public relations related to COVID-19 19. In addition, there is a significant effect of the exposure of government cyber public relations on public attitudes, where government cyber public relations is formed by indicators of the duration and frequency of the website. Keywords: Exposure; Government Cyber Public Relation; Public Attitude ABSTRAK Pemerintah Indonesia telah menetapkan status darurat bencana yang terkait dengan pandemic COVID-19, melalui cyber public relations pemerintah berusaha untuk memberikan informasi yang benar sehingga pandemic ini dapat diatasi dengan baik bersama dengan masyarakatnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengetahui keterdedahan masyarakat Kota Bogor terhadap cyber public relations terkait COVID-19, 2) mengetahui sikap masyarakat Kota Bogor terhadap cyber public relations Pemerintah terkait COVID-19 berdasarkan Generasi dan 3) menganalisis pengaruh cyber public relations terkait COVID-19 terhadap sikap masyarakat Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Bogor dengan menggunakan metode riset empirik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode virtual+ (kombinasi antara survai daring dan luring). Sebanyak 150 orang dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan quota sampling yang merupakan bagian dari Generasi X, Y dan Z. Analisis data menggunakan statisitik deskriptif dan Structural Equaltion model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website adalah platform yang paling banyak diakses diikuti Instagram. Dilihat dari frekuensi, sebagian besar mengakses media tersebut sebanyak satu kali. Sikap masyarakat terkait informasi Cyber Public Relations pemerintah relatif sama terhadap ketiga generasi X, Y, Z. Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara aplikasi dan media sosial terhadap penggunaan cyber public relations pemerintah, hanya website yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap cyber public relations pemerintah terkait COVID-19. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terdapat keterdedahan cyber public relations pemerintah terhadap sikap masyarakat, dimana cyber public relations pemerintah dibentuk oleh indikator durasi dan frekuensi website Kata Kunci: Cyber Public Relation Pemerintah; Keterdedahan; Sikap Masyarakat

Abstract

Political participation is an important problem because it is one form of support that comes from various parties or groups. Political participation is inseparable from the media as a means of information for the community. Beginner voters are one part of the community whose voice is needed in the political process. Beginner voters with media are two things that cannot be separated, especially the use of social media. The research objective consists of several things, namely: 1). Knowing the characteristics of beginner voters in Bogor Regency; 2). Knowing the use of social media in accessing political news on beginner voters; 3). Analyzing the political typology of beginner voters; 4). Analyzing the segmentation of beginner voter typology based on access to political news on social media. This study used a survey approach and data collection using a questionnaire on 105 respondents. The sampling method uses quota sampling while the data analysis uses descriptive analysis, mean scores and CHAID. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of beginner voters in Bogor Regency are dominated by women, high school education, not participating in the organization. Instagram is the most widely used social media as access to political news. The typology of beginner voters from the largest percentage is apathetic voters followed by naive, alienated and loyal voters, the media, the more access to news through social media encourages voters to be loyal, without accessing politics through social media makes voters apathetic.

Abstract

COVID-19 berdampak pada seluruh kegiatan manusia, khususnya adalah sektor pariwisata. Salah satu upaya untuk mendukung destinasi wisata adalah melalui video profile dan dipublikasikan menggunakan media sosial. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah membantu Desa Koleang dengan potensi wisatanya melalui literasi digital produksi video profile dan Media Sosial kepada para pemuda Karang Taruna Desa Koleang Kecamatan Jasinga Kabupaten Bogor. Kegiatan ini berdampak kepada peserta yaitu pemuda karang taruna Desa Koleang dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan membuat video profile melalui pembuatan storyboard, pengambilan gambar dan editing gambar menggunakan ponsel pintar serta mengunggah melalui media sosial, sedangkan bagi Desa Koleang sendiri dengan adanya video profile ini akan membantu mempromosikan lokasi Desa Koleang sendiri dan juga destinasi wisata yang ada di Desa Koleang yaitu Setu Kandongdong dan juga kerajianan bambu Koleang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipologi pemilih pemula berdasarkan akses informasi politik di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pada 105 responden dengan metode sampling menggunakan quota sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, skor rataan dan Analisis Varian (ANOVA). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa karakteristik pemilih pemula di Kabupaten Bogor didominasi wanita, pendidikan SLTA. Instagram adalah media sosial yang paling banyak digunakan sebagai akses berita politik. Tipologi pemilih pemula dari persentase yang paling besar adalah pemilih apatis diikuti oleh pemilih naif, teralienasi dan setia, media, semakin banyak akses berita melalui media sosial mendorong pemilih menjadi setia, tanpa mengakses politik melalui media sosial membuat pemilih menjadi apatis.

Abstract

The retail industry is a field that has a high contribution to the Indonesian economy. This research will examine the compensation based on the need for a decent living for retail workers. The purpose of this study is to (1) Analyze and evaluate the fulfillment of compensation (2) Creating a design and compensation strategy based on the requirements of decent living in Bogor. The type of data in this study is primary data (interview and questionnaires) and secondary data obtained from the website of Bogor, BPS, literature study, and relevant report. The method used is the descriptive analysis, control chart, and Grid ERRC. The results show that according to 60 components of Living Standards/KHL, only 53 items have been fulfilled and the rest (7 items are expected to be reviewed/Omited) and equal to Rp 2.753.000 which are below to Minimum Wage in Bogor. There is a priority in financial compensation and non-financial compensation, which are health benefits, holiday benefits, work accidents, and work incentives and non-financial compensation consists of career systems, work facilities, responsibilities, work status, working conditions. According to the control chart only 38% of the total respondents whose number of the COLA can be fulfilled above the average retail sector worker.

Abstract

The term Work from home (WFH) has become increasingly popular after the Covid-19 spread occurred in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. The implementation of work from home simultaneously in various companies is something new in Indonesia. Therefore it is necessary to investigate the factors of work from home implementation to determine the effectiveness of outcome-based telework. This research uses the descriptive analysis method and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The type of data used in this research is quantitative by using primary data in the form of direct interviews and filling out questionnaires to the employees or professional workers in Indonesia who work by telework/ work from the home program during the pandemic of Covid 19 situations. Secondary data gathered from literature studies and previous research. The results of this study indicate that five variables have a significant influence, namely the possibility to work from home because of the type of work, possession to work during the most productive time, suitability of a working place at home, time efficiency, and team member support. The suitability variable of a working place at home has the most significant influence compared to other variables.
