This paper presents for the first time the results of research related to the professional training of judges. The research method presented in this paper is a case study. Thirty-one judges, in the City and District Courts, were included to obtain various perspectives through interviews. The results of the study show that the influence of training can shape judicial interpretations of justice. We found that trainee judges studied the three most important forms of justice: legal justice, moral justice, and social justice. Judges will also learn from the training that judges will be asked to harmonize various dimensions of justice in the context of public service.

This study examines the significant impact of Indonesian government policies on the economic development of the country, particularly in relation to the food industry. The study utilizes Comparative Analysis to investigate the historical development of policy measures, specifically the shift from import substitution to export-led growth. It evaluates the effects of these measures on the productivity, sustainability, and global competitiveness of the food industry. This analysis carefully examines a large amount of data from the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, BPS Indonesia, and other reliable sources to reveal the complex connection between policy interventions and economic performance measures such as GDP growth, employment, and investment in the food sector. The findings highlight the crucial impact of deliberate government investments in stimulating the food industry's involvement in Indonesia's economic stability and sustained progress. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the significance of taking into account contextual elements when evaluating policies and recognizing the external influences that impact economic results. This research provides valuable recommendations for refining policies and guiding future research to improve the effectiveness of government initiatives in promoting economic growth and innovation in Indonesia's food industry. It achieves this through a thorough understanding of the impacts of policies and by comparing different insights

This study aims to critically reviews Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) research in Indonesia’s food sector, focusing on both locally produced and imported commodities. Employing a critical review methodology, peer-reviewed articles and international reports published were analyzed for compliance with ISO 14040/44, data transparency, system boundary definitions, and methodological gaps. The results reveal substantial variability in environmental impacts: local rice and soybean value chains exhibit high methane emissions and fertilizer-related effects, whereas imported wheat, soybean, and beef accrue larger carbon footprints due to long-distance transport. Moreover, most studies adopt a cradle-to-gate scope with limited sensitivity or uncertainty analyses, which undermines result robustness. We conclude that standardizing LCA protocols, expanding primary data collection, and incorporating cradle-to-grave scopes and uncertainty analyses are vital to enhance the reliability of LCA for Indonesia’s sustainable food policy

This literature review explores the use of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) bottles to implement effective packaging principles in the bottled drinking water industry. Using a narrative review of scientific literature, industry reports, and case studies, the study highlights that rPET reduces greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, and reliance on fossil resources while promoting circular economy practices through bottle-to-bottle recycling. Properly processed rPET retains sufficient mechanical, thermal, and barrier properties for beverage packaging and meets food safety standards. Key challenges include material degradation, quality variability, and consumer perception, which require technological innovation and efficient waste management. Industrial examples, such as PMKN in Indonesia, demonstrate successful rPET integration, label-free designs, and compliance with safety regulations. Overall, rPET adoption illustrates a balance of technical performance, environmental sustainability, and economic feasibility in effective packaging.

This study examines inventory management and production capacity in warung tegal (warteg) businesses in Tangerang and surrounding areas, with a focus on the mismatch between production capacity and customer demand during peak hours. Warteg businesses typically prepare food in advance based on daily demand estimates, which often leads to operational risks such as food shortages or overproduction due to fluctuating demand, especially during lunchtime. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observations of 30 warteg businesses selected through convenience sampling. The analysis focuses on inventory-related indicators, including stock availability, frequency of stockouts, and replenishment practices during peak periods. The findings show that shortages frequently occur when popular menu items such as chicken and eggs run out before peak hours end. This is mainly caused by production decisions that rely on experience rather than structured inventory planning. This condition reduces service levels, resulting in longer waiting times and increased queues. The study suggests that implementing simple inventory management practices, such as recording daily sales patterns and determining buffer stock for high-demand menu items, can help optimize production planning, improve service efficiency, and reduce the risk of both shortages and food waste in small-scale food businesses.
